Stayed here back in April. Dinner was excellent. I was charged for breakfast but didn't actually have anything — not even a coffee. Room was below average — shower was barely a dribble. Did ask for another room but was told there was a wedding party coming early doors who had booked the whole hotel so I was understanding. That was until I met the couple getting married who explained their guests were coming in the afternoon. So that was pretty disappointing service. Extremely short staffed but the ones who were there were lovely. Location is amazing with great views. Owner could do with staffing a bit more and with a bit more investment around the hotel it could be amazing but not quite yet unfortunately.

Had a fantastic stay here on banks of loch awe the views are to die for staff are excellent and very helpfull highly recommended.

If you love old but comfortable English (well in this case Scottish) charm then this is the place for you. The hotel is situated near a lovely loch and I loved discovering its surroundings. The staff was lovely but I was disappointed in the overpriced lunch and dinner menu. Breakfast was also a let-down (the porridge they served me didn't deserve the name porridge)

Absolutely charming place. Make sure to book in advance and go ready to enjoy incredible views, while winding down. There is limited cell phone service, so there will be no working!

Delightful, charming and slightly quirky little place! So much nicer than the usual hotel set up. Staff could not have been more helpful, Wi-Fi awful, but who cares with views love this. Extremely dog friendly too.

I am sure staying in this fantastic venue is truly memorable, I can't wait too visit. The general manager is a woman with high standards and a trained solicitor. A remarkable change from her past career but none the less a brilliant one. Please keep posting as I want your views on this venue.

An amazing place we called in but they were full with a wedding Christine showed us around what a place! Staff were all so pleasant and smiling They've just been refurbished and the smell of fresh paint lingered in the air always reassuring to see and old building so well looked after. Can wait to come back in May!

The place where this hotel is located is a real pass. From the room where you have breakfast the views of the lake are beautiful. The hotel itself is carried by young girls and very nice, although you have to look for a little to give with whom you attend. The bathrooms are somewhat small and the worst is the water flow, minimum, in the shower. It shows that it is a building somewhat aging but with much charm. Lots of lounges, minipub, all decorated exquisitely. Very good breakfast, half Continental, half what you ask.
The main drawback in my opinion is the dreaded access road. Several miles that will test your steering wheel and calculating safety distance as you cross with someone, likely thing.

Worst hotel possible. — 5 stars! Better sleep on the floor on in the car! We had the suit, very expensive and everything broken in the room and especially the bed is horrible.

Been here twice, going a third time. This an amazing hotel with a great view, staff are extremely pleasant. I recommend this to everyone I know that is traveling to this area of Scotland.

Stayed here for a wedding last weekend. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.

At breakfast and dinner very slow service. De hotel is a bit faded glory. We've forgotten a child blanket … 4 phone call s later, nothing received. There are better hotels with ad hoc service.

We arrived late. Everything was prepared. The location of the Hotel is great directly near Loch Awe. Rooms are specious with nice furniture. Service was very warm and friendly. Miguel was a great host. The dinner was an event. Food in best quality, great service.

The Taychreggan Hotel is truly first-rate, from the exceptional and personal service to the classic menu and wonderful meals. Our room was small, by our choice, and immaculately maintained, beautifully furnished. The common areas are like those in a home, and it was easy to fall into comfortable conversations with people who anywhere else would be strangers. Wonderful place.

Had a stunningly pleasant three nights here. The food was exceptional as was the room and the service.
