I've been to the West Loch Hotel several times, always for a single night stay. It's cosy, has nice rooms, has a restaurant that serves good food and a parking area. The view onto the loch is beautiful, so if you get a room with a view… good on you. There is no lift and all guest rooms are upstairs. Best speak with hotel staff about accessibility requirements. This is an ideal place for a stop over for someone that needs to catch an early morning ferry to one of the isles.

Overpriced and slow service at lunch. They advertised being dog friendly but this area was very dingy and cold.

Very nice hotel… easy to find just of the A83. We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were lovely, the food and service we received was excellent. Would really recommend staying at this hotel…

Staff friendly & helpful and food great (breakfast and dinner)

The rooms were tiny. Once you made it to reception and the sleeping quarters of the hotel, the quality was very poor. Even the bartender suggested another hotel nearby for another guest as the best hotel in town. In the bedroom, the door opened into the bed and there was a hole in the floor into which the bed was sunken into. The bed was also very umcomfortable. The provided Wi-Fi was nonexistent and spotty, with no explanation as to why. The credit card machime was down amd they wanted to erite my card info dowm to enter in later. Needless to say did not do that. Had to pay cash. Was up early to check out quickly and get on the road.

Friendly and good food. Remember for evening visits, it is bring your own bottle.

After our wedding on the beach at Crear we came to West Loch Hotel for our wedding meal. The staff were fantastic from start to finish and the food was 1st class thanks to chef Ross who organised the menu, can't wait to come back again. Also big thanks to Drew who is the star of the show you made our night with your interaction and banter.

Lovely scenic views of lake across the road; breakfast with a view. Short distance to Tarbert town. Friendly proprietors. Most comfortable feather pillows ever.

Nice hotel with a great restaurant. We stayed in a double ensuite, which was comfortable and clean. Felt a little rustic, but meet our needs.
