I was the dj booked to keep guests entertained at a wedding at this venue. Friendly enough staff, great facilities. Stayed there a couple of times. Rooms were great and food was exceptional.

We were there for a 21st birthday celebration. The food was amazing and the service exceptional even though they were really busy.

We are here two night stay pet friendly rooms but not aloud in hotel very nice staff especially front desk reception food fabulous yes would come back nice if dogs aloud in bar area or conseratory.

We had a wonderful wedding day at Piersland House, in no small part thanks to the attentive service and high standards of the staff. Everything was superb and we can’t recommend Martin and his team highly enough.

We were lucky enough to get married at the Piersland on Friday 3rd of June and it was absolutely perfect. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out and all staff are outstanding. They were so friendly and welcoming even helping members of the party pack their cars on departure. Martin has been amazing at helping throughout the planning process and made organising the day look easy! He made the whole process fun and relaxing and is fantastic at his job. The guests were so impressed at the standard of the meal and the choices they were able to order on the evening. The day was exactly what we wanted from start to finish and we can’t wait to visit again on our anniversary 🥰 thank you so much to Martin and all the staff at the Piersland for working so hard to make our special day perfect!

We've been a couple of times and hope to be back soon. Relaxing with friendly staff Just one tiny gripe. No lifts to help with the carraige of luggage in the main building other than that. We love it!

We got married at Piersland house last weekend. The venue is perfect and even though it rained all day it was a lovely place to spend our whole day. The staff are amazing, they couldn’t be any more friendly or helpful and the day couldn’t have went any better. Thanks again.

Had an absolutely fantastic over night stay in a beautiful Mews room yesterday. The staff were fantastic and all social distance policies adhered to. on arrival reception staff were excellent and our evening meal delicious. We had breakfast in our room (optional) which was again 5 star. Def highly recommend. We will definately return.

My husband and I had a fantastic trip to piersland house. The staff were a delight. So friendly, helpful, cheery and professional. The restaurant was warm and comfortable and the food was outstanding! Brilliant value for money. Breakfast was fab and room service superb. Can't wait for our next visit. Definitely.

Stayed overnight last night on DBB booking. Everything was excellent. Room immaculate. Staff were brilliant. Check in was very easy and food was fantastic as were the cocktails. Really made it relaxing in these difficult times. We will be back again.

Stayed in a news cottage. Immaculately presented. Beautiful decor and very cosy and homely. Had an evening meal. Food was lovely very reasonably priced.

We had our wedding at the Piersland House last month. It was the most perfect day. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Martin Patterson is fantastic at his job. We had lots of communication leading up to our wedding. We were lucky enough to have superb weather and held our ceremony outside in the gardens. It was beautiful. The food was amazing and the guests all thoroughly enjoyed it. Piersland House is beautiful and I would highly recommend it.

We had our wedding there last month and it was just perfect. All the staff did an amazing job and the food was lovely. All my guests were saying how much they enjoyed the service and the food.
A big thankyou to our wedding coordinator Martin who was just amazing. He was very attentive and made everyone feel at ease.

We had our amazing beautiful wedding here and it was just perfect from start to finish.
Everything is taken care of for you they have everything organised and nothing is too much trouble. If you want a stress free wedding this is your venue.

The main house was lovely. Although for the price the rooms outside of the main house (the mews) are some what shabby and very basic. The advertisement of complimentary free fruit was just two bruised apples. For room booked for three people?! Brrakfast was nice… but overpriced for what you get. My room in the holiday inn was nicer and more spacious and much cheaper.

Excellent! Good service and very nicely presented tasty food. Interesting unique menu choice. Prices not as much as one might imagine on entry hence it's a popular place. Reservations recommended esp at the weekend or for larger groups.

Just home after 2 days in the Piersland, we were given room 208 which is a superior room and very nice it was to… but, (there's always a but) for people to get to other rooms they have to go thru a small 'gateway' which involves going thru 2 doors and our room is in between those two doors so it becomes very noisy at any given time of night as the guest opens one door then has to immediately open another door to gain access to a hallway to their room and we in room 208 get constantly disturbed with these going ons
Then you have the guest in the room next to us watching television up until the early hours… I finally fell asleep thru sheer exhaustion at roughly 3-45am… Staff could not be more attentive but I'm glad to be home, purely for the rest.

Back for another year :) It's like home away from home. Did a side trip to Inverness, we find ourselves always comparing our short stay to the Piersland. And we were disappointed. Piersland always surpasses our expectation. Goes above and beyond every time! Staff super friendly, caring and efficient. This particular stay the weather was really HOT (surprising for Scotland)! They found us a fan to make our stay more comfortable. These are the little touches that makes they superior. Now the food! Well let's say I gain a few pounds during our 10 day stay. Always sad to go : (

Got married here last month and we're very happy we did. We came up many times to plan and each time the staff were so lovely and accommodating. You get a very personalised service and the atmosphere is warm and easy. Food is delicious and plentiful. They are very good at coping with stressed brides!

Simply one of the best hotels in Ayrshire. We've stayed at this hotel many times now, and we have always been happy to stay and come back. The staff is amazing, food plentiful and delicious, the building, gardens and atmosphere fantastic whether it's winter and a peaty fire is making the dinner lounge warm and cosy or it's summer and the deck area provides a pleasant sea breeze. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, newly decorated, comfortable, stylish. Awesome beds too! We will certainly visit again.

Overall a good hotel. Convenient parking out front my room, small lounge with room and good food. For some reason they put me in a disabled room so I had to bend down for things like the sink, very uncomfortable.

Wonderful hotel in an amazing location. We got married in the Piersland and stayed every year around our anniversary. Each stay was an utter delight. The rooms are stunning, the staff is attentive and the food is to die for. Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet hotel with great views. We were attending a wedding at Loch Green House Hotel and it is only 15 mins walk away. Nice walks to the beach from here too. Room (no. 12), great sized room, very peaceful and decent sized bathroom with shower / bath. Breakfast was good quality. Only problem it was so so unbearably hot in the breakfast room we couldn't stick around! Please try and adjust the temperature.

My daughter held her wedding here. Fantastic place. Staff could not have been anymore helpful and attentive. Food was great.

Myself and my wife had our wedding at the piersland on Saturday 28th April and it was absolutely perfect, the staff were amazing and attentive no request was too much for them and Martin Patterson went above and beyond to make our day the most amazing day we could have wished for, we couldn't have wished for a better person or place to host our wedding and we would 110% recommend the piersland house to anyone looking at booking their wedding, they really do take the stress away and make your day perfect.

Most enjoyable venue for our Sunday roast dinner, excellent service in convivial surroundings, their modernised restaurant with perfectly cooked (for me) topside — ever-so-slightly pink, with all the trimmings (+ chips, a bonus! ) and well priced at just under £10. Also recommend the baked mushrooms in creamy white wine sauce, great tasting & filling — a fiver. (No room for dessert, sadly. ) Great value. I imagine that a summer visit would need a booking well in advance.

This hotel has long been a favourite with our family for meals out and special occasions. The menu has something for everyone and all dietary requirements in our parties have always been catered for. What's more, the hotel is situated in beautiful grounds — great for photographs.

I won my overnight stay in a competition. This included a wonderful 3 course meal for two and presecco. Our stay was much needed and absolutely fantastic, beautiful setting in the glorious hotel. We loved everything about it and cannot fault anything.

Beautiful hotel. Many of the rooms are in the form of terrace cottages. Mine had four rooms, if you count the walk in wardrobe. They also let you bring dogs. Good is excellent. Also the whiskey selection includes something for almost everyone.

Went to see Piersland as a potential wedding venue for my sister in law. The deputy manager who we met with was very helpful and really sold the place to us. The packages were very reasonable and the venue itself was lovely. We were also given free bottled water and offered tea and coffee when we arrived.

From the minute we arrived and were given an upgraded room! We were treated so well! We went to the bar & although there wasn’t a bar snack menu at that time we were offered a variety of sandwiches served beautifully with salad & crisps! Our room was fabulous & food (set menu) was amazing! We paid £99 dinner bed & breakfast & prosecco in room on arrival definitely worth double that on comparison with other places we have visited! We will 100% be back! Thanks for a lovely evening.

As always great food with good service, great place for family events. Rooms and lodges clean and comfortable. Play area for kids safe as surround by high walls and hedges.

I went to this hotel for a meal after a funeral. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Being vegan quite a lot of people do not understand and so I have yo explain. The staff were well versed and the chefs on form. They knew what I could and could not eat, they were always extremely friendly about this matter, not all places are, and instead of the usual risotto you're offer anywhere else I had the most delicious vegetable stir fry. They even had soy milk for my coffee. Thank you guys for brightening my day.

Was at hotel for festive lunch with my sister's as we do every year. As always it was excellent from start to finish. From the warm welcome we received, the amazing staff and the wonderful food.

Attending a family Wedding. Hotel is very nice. Friendly staff. The drinks prices are reasonable, 4 drinks around £15 and fast service. The function area and toilets are clean and well looked after. Buffet was good but 1 easier of bacon does not constitute a bacon roll. Would definitely recommend this hotel for functions.

Stayed another weekend on their 2 night deal with dinner on the first night. We stayed in one of the cottages and it was lovely and welcoming. Really well appointed with plenty of room to relax. The food is always great and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. We shall be back again at some point! The hotel is lovely and situated in an ideal spot. Close enough to the town if you fancy a leisurely or brisk walk but nice enough to just stay put! Lovely wee bolt hole every now and again as a treat!

Excellent and very comfortable rooms. We had a superb evening meal in the restaurant and first class breakfast. All staff were friendly, courteous and helpful.

My partner's parents have stayed here a few times and chose to do so again on a Tuesday evening. We came up to visit them and have a meal in the bar. Their room was a little disappointing. It was the smallest in the main hotel and had a tiny bathroom — no bath. They were fully booked so no change was possible. They did offer the honeymoon sweet for 20 quid extra though. Meal was quite nice — 2 course for 18 or so. Portions were decent and food was tasty (not fine dining but good nosh) but service was quite slow. It was very busy but the fire was definitely serviced more frequently than we were. Nice atmosphere but I sense it's a very popular venue so they're not falling over themselves to go the extra mile.

Great location near Royal Troon golfcourse and very short walk to beach. Bedroom was very spacious, huge bathroom, fitted wardrobe, huge bed, armchair and writing table. Staff very polite and attentive. Good choice of breakfast options — all in all a brilliant place to stay.

The food was amazing! As a wedding venue the interior and exterior grounds are beautiful. Our wedding guests commented that all the rooms were well furnished and clean and comfortable. Special mention to the wedding co-ordinator Martin Patterson, who ensured that everything ran to plan, with a patient and professional demeanour. 10/10 would do again!

Had a lovely night in one of the lodges. Was a lovely place. Dinner was 5 star and the staff were so friendly. Every box ticked. Great breakfast in the morning too. Cant wait to go back for another visit.

Fantastic hotel also has little cottages for guest which are separated from the main hotel giving you more privacy can be extremely busy during wedding season and you'll would probably need to phone to Reserve a table at the restaurant also they are right across from the Mariana hotel in troon which has the the famous troon golf course as its vista.

Setting the standard for Excellence in service, beer garden, stays, breakfasts, lunch, dinner and weddings. Traditional but beautifully contemporary. Large car park. Hats off to the management and staff.

Changed from having the usual Fish and Chips (which are usually very good) to having the sharing seafood platter. If you're quite hungry be like me and don't share it and enjoy the herring, mackerel prawns and dips to yourself! The hot smoked salmon in the platter is the stand out star!

Went to lunch here last Monday (Sept 23rd) with family and friends. The service was very good and the staff were very friendly without being intrusive. The food was good I had the buffet as did others on the table. My husband had chicken which he said was lovely. I was too full for a pudding unfortunately. The building is a lovely example of victorian carved wood panels and it is set in lovely peaceful gardens. If I come to Scotland again I would certainly want to eat here.

Been here for a few Christmas nights out, and weddings, lovely venue, staff lovely, and the meals have always been great! A little expensive though, but you are paying for the venue.
