Just back from a weekend staying here and it was great room was lovely and clean, communication was fab and loved the little continental box will definitely be back thank you 😊

Great value, very helpful hosts.

Stayed here last Sunday, we were expecting a room with a bed and a TV if we were lucky. What we got was an en-suite bedroom with a telly, loads of storage facilities, a separate living room with 2sofas a TV and a separate kitchen area, a dining table with a much appreciated welcome basket. What's not to like and in a great location as well. Andy the owner was a real gent and I can also recommend the food in the harbour lights pub 100 yards away.

I am leaving today after a week in a double studio room. The hotel is clean, cosy, comfortable and neat. There is a delightful basket of goodies to greet you upin arrival. The owner Andy was more than helpful. It is a short walk to the train, taxi, shopping mall/supermarket, the High St, restaurants, bars, the harbour at the river, the Maritime Museum and even the ocean. I am looking forward to returning in early 2022!

We stayed at the Harbourside a few years ago, they accommodated our midnight arrival, were very helpful with the kids, and the place was clean and comfortable.
We are definately returning!

Me & my husband went here over the weekend for our wee anniversary and we had a great time lovely basket filled with goodies on arrival and met some some lovely ppl too. Definitely recommend as it was a lovely room and very clean and fresh. Met Andy on the day we where leaving and he seemed very nice and down to earth. We will be booking back up with the kids for sure.

Fantastic Guest house, I actually had a studio flat with a small kitchen with had everything you needed 2 cook a meal, everything was very clean, a comfortable bed stay 4 nights and sleep really well
Large bathroom with a good shower and plenty of towels, good Internet has well, would definitely stay again and would recommend, Well done Andy and his team
I nearly forgot fantastic welcome pack and a can off lager waiting for me in the fridge.

Had a fabulous mini break at this lovely hotel with my children, my sister and nieces. We took 2 family rooms, great size, they were perfect especially with the lovely garden and courtyard area.
Amazing welcome packs received on arrival with activities for the children.
Andy and his staff could not have done more for us and helped with whatever we needed.
The location is spot on close to beach, parks, pubs and restaurants plus 5 mins walk to the Rivergate Shopping shopping centre.
We would love to come back.

Checked in for a little staycation with my family who were up from England. The family rooms are brilliant! everything we needed and more. The staff are lovely and helpful. Welcome packs were great. Even left colouring books and little extras for the kids. The kids play area is beautiful and had toys too!. Great place to stay with the beach, harbour, skate park right on its doorstep and 5 mins walk to the shops and restaurants etc
. We will definitely be back.

Easy access. Wonderful treats to welcome weary hungry travellers. Warm and cozy. Good local information guides available. First night so will update further when I have been here a few days.

Love the little basket thing they put in the St Andrews guest house, nice location not too far away from shops. Rooms were nice and beds comfy too.

Me and my partner stayed at the marina inn for two nights and it was lovely, cheap and great value for money… loved the welcome basket. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was for the price we paid but can't complain at all, definitely worth staying at.

Arrived at St Andrew's guest house Irvine lovely place accessible, door was coded got to room which was clean and cosy I would recommend this guest house also would stay again.

Checked in yesterday lovely room great welcome basket lovely little touch. Very quiet comfortable. Very clean spoke to the lady who cleans the rooms this morning very friendly and helpful will definitely stay here again.

Marina studio: has a glass door so every time somebody moves around the yard and the external automatic light comes on it's light as day in the room, including 3am. Unfriendly staff that are also liers: there was no electricity in the studio from evening until morning, they said it never happened before and tried to accuse us of meddling with the fuse box. I now read reviews and same thing happened to another person in May.

So after having a night away at the marina inn for my cousins birthday and loved it, I entered the Facebook completion and WON! This time we stayed in the Harbourside hotel and it was lovely really clean great view and right next door to ice cream shop and 2 mins from Niche restaurant which is amazing! Had a welcome basket waiting for us and even got a bottle of prosecco dropped off soon as we arrived. I also had booked my room for the previous night and couldn’t make it and they changed it no bother at all for the next night which was really nice of them. We had a great stay and will defo be going back to stay over again soon with the the kids this time as the beach is 5 min walk.

Had family room at top off building room was great but shower no hot water or when it came hot it was scalding so we couldn't use and we stayed there as had early start in morning. This was only downside off our stay though.

Not smoke free. No lobby. No daily clean. No night staff to complain about the smokers. Not a Hotel in any sense. This is a rooming or self catered guest house at a stretch.

Clean and comfortable, convenient for food and drink. Economical too, and a lovely welcome basket waiting in your room.

Staying for the weekend and what a great wee set up, we have a family room upstairs which gives the kids their separate wee room and TV. The courtesy basket is a lovely touch. Glad I liked and shared the page before we left home. Would definely recommend the Marina Inn to others.

My sister stayed in the harbourside hotel on Thursday night — the Coburns — and thoroughly enjoyed it. Clean warm and comfortable.

We have a daughter who lives in Irvine so visit quite often and would not stay in any other hotels except for Andrews the rooms are always clean and tidy have a fridge, microwave, kettle and tea and coffee facilities and also a free hospitality tray with biscuits crisp porridge and even something to drink keep up the good work.

We had a great time in irvine hotel was great good price and frIendly harboursidea done well will be back soon value for money.

We booked a family room at the marina. We ended up with a twin room. Two single beds in the room for me… My partner… And my baby. The room was small no room for his cot which I said I was bringing before we came. Their was no reception and we even tried going to one of their sister hotels to find no one their either. The lady that was their looked like a cleaner she rang a women to complain for us about not having a family room and I could here her being screamed at down the phone. She was even rude about us being unhappy and told the lady that rang that t he cot can be put blocking the door! I mentioned it's a fire risk to be told ye but what's the chances of a fire. We ended up changing hotels. No service at all.

Terrific inn in a great location. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Lovely place to stay, went with my husband and 3 kids, plenty of space in the room and a big bathroom. Clean and cosy with and extra wee touch of a welcome basket full of goodies. In walking distance of shops, pub's maritime museum and beach. Great value from money and friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

People are very friendly rooms are always clean there is tea& coffee facility if you have any problem you can either talk to manager Andy or very nice lady called Carmen I highly recommend this hotel as great for wheelchair access and very friendly people :-)

Stayed at Harbourside Hotel Lastnight lovely wee place Room was really clean and topped up with lots of goodies on our arrivel wine, beer, chocolate, pringles, would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wee nite away. The Harbour is defo the place to be for a night out we had a great night…

Expected better for the price to be honest. A forgettable, average experience.

My family came up from london for my brothers funeral andrew and the staff were very helpful and kind accommodated four of my family at short notice was good prices lovely food and the rooms were very clean and well equiped we all thank the staff my family would be using harbourside again its a great hotel.

We enjoyed our stay and we thank andrew for his hospiltality, we would recommand the harbourside hotel, for a restful and relaxing time. You can use the fridge and microwave if you like, and they are lots of lovely shops as well to spend sometime in. The hotel is very central to everything. My mum and I would like to thank andrew and his staff, for a lovely time. Heather and I rene Cook.
