Nice hotel very friendly staff. Bed was comfy and the hot water was very hot. Would stay here again. Value for money.

Decent place to sleep however walls are thin and sometimes rooms smell of cigarettes and other substances.

The cleaning staff deserve another two stars because they have lousy facilities and a outdated, outmoded environment with unsupported working conditions. Management back at head office need to wake up to their local competition, Village/ Premier Inn on their doorstep. They need to do some serious refurbishment work in all the rooms, dining area and reception. At the very least get cleaning staff trolleys, steam machines for all the flooring and schedule regular door handle wiping!. Location is convenient opposite a 24 HR Tesco, Dudley Castle and only 8 miles from Cadburys world. Breakfast staff mostly very helpful but l imagine painfully aware of poor decor. However on the Sunday l asked for a boiled egg and was told at 9.30 (half-hour before breakfast finish time) that they would have to ask the 'chef'. Well goodness knows where they were having a snooze, ciggie or?! They were missing ' in action' for forty minutes — in which time l had eaten cereal, toasted several sets of bread, had tea and tidied my table. These are not chefs. They are short order cooks, short of cooks. Can't complain ultimately as this was part of a superbreaks bargain break and as such great value with its free entry into Cadburys World. The hotel can't continue to rely on co promotions to survive. It needs to wise up and chase the money from repeat custom. Refurbish or slide into the annals of Black country museum history. NB watch out for hot taps in bathrooms working in reverse. They can be scalding.

Needs decor, colleagues had food on their room carpets. Restaurant is very basic and staff weren't exactly thrilled to help. Found fire doors propped open too which was concerning.

Me and my friends used to have a pint here occasionally when we'd have a pub crawl around Dudley area. Great place for meeting friends and family members for a great night out. Good Selection of beers and wine's, they're also extended the room by adding on a large conservatory to add extra light to an old building. Well worth a visit when you are in the area. This place is better known as the Ward Arm's.

Place that has all the essentials for business trips to Dudley.

Came here for a birthday party. I was slightly sceptical that a hotel called quality would be any thing but! However I was pleasantly surprised. What seriously let the place down was the cleanliness of the toilets. Both the gents and disabled toilets were filthy. I asked my wife about the female toilets and she said they were filthy too. Please clean your toilets and surrounding areas, you may then be worthy of using the word quality in your name! Till then patrons stay away!

Typically cheap and cheerful, clean and tidy room, usual standard which is fine but nothing special. Cinema, bowling alley, many restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. Didn't eat at the hotel as was meeting friends for dinner elsewhere, and I find their breakfast to be overpriced.

The bed was so comfy my husband and I wanted to take it with us. The staff are lovely and on reception. They were very helpful. We have stayed here before in December 2015 — January 2016.

Currently in one of their rooms! Absolutely ridiculous like a hostel. Paid £55 to be woken up 5 times by ambulance service and girls screaming. How they expect their guests to stay here I never know. Appearance of the room is okay with a 3D TV etc but don't come here if you want a quiet night! Absolutely fuming!

The room was nice apart from a wet paint sign where they had painted around the door — a bit strange when the room is booked. Checking in took 70 minutes (yes 70) not helped by 1 member of staff trying to book in workmen trying to pay with credit cards not in their name. The guy in the food bar was very courteous and the food was good.

Well kept hotel with warm and friendly staff, the hotel is nicely located a short drive from the M5 motorway (junction 2) and within walking distance of Dudley town centre, Dudley Zoo and the Black Country Museum. There is a shopping mall (Merry Hill), not too far from the hotel, taking around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic to get there. Offering a variety of services in addition to the hotel, there are function and meeting rooms as well as suites and a restaurant open to all. The restaurant has a nice open and well lit conservatory and offers Sunday lunch including a carvery. There is ample space for parking outside the main reception area as well as a side road should the car park overflow. The only downside to the hotel is that it is directly off a dual carriageway which means coming off the hotel car park, you can only turn left. However, it is only a short drive to a roundabout (less than a half minute) where you can turn round and come back on yourself to get back to the motorway All in all though, the hotel is well looked after, has polite and friendly staff, is in a nice location, has good parking facilities, is in easy reach of the town and places to visit and not as expensive as some other local hotels.

Easy to get to location within walking distance of attractions like Dudley Zoo and the Black Country Living Museum as well as the town centre. The Merry Hill shopping centre is a short car/taxi ride away taking no more than a quarter hour. The hotel itself has onsite parking and the carvery restaurant is available to patrons and non-patrons. There are a number of function rooms available for hire that cover a variety of events. The hotel also hosts weddings and advertises packages starting at £888 On a daily basis, cleaning staff can be seen around the hotel and from personal experience, maintenance issues are dealt with almost straightaway. The staff at reception are like the rest of the hotel staff, polite and courteous.

Place is dated funture as old ny grandmothers whos 90 rude staff bar was empty took 15 make gin tonic and beer dident know wat ice slice ment! Bed moved had wheels on heating was in full blast heat sunmer couldent breath all night even tho left windows open whilst we went out un heigjt summer! Qullality not so)!

Poor service, problems with obtaining hot water for a shower! Won't be returning.

The service was great with very friendly staff and rapid assistance. The room functional but has a new TV. The cooked breakfast was excellent and it's a pleasant dining area.

Well we're do I start rooms are nothing like photos they are basic with poor lighting on arrival rooms were not ready and just told they had staff call in sick so lobby was full of guests finally got room at 2.20 but had to be at our event for 3 pm quite at night so slept ok breakfast was hot but the lady was in kitchen so had to serve our self when she came out she didn't smile everything was ran out so waiting. The bread was dry as it was all left open then when it ran out The lady got a new loaf put it on table then put rubbish in a bin that the peddle didn't work so used her hands to open the bun then went to the bread and put this out then went and brought more fresh cooked bfast put NO GLOVES No washing hands then when we left lady on reception just took key no how was your stay thanks for your visit.

Get what you pay for. Pros: water very hot, friendly staff, good bath, good parking& roof over your head. Cons: too much air freshener used in room (could hardly breathe), noisy road if at the front when it rains.

Rooms basic but clean enough. Was told breakfast started at 7am, but when 10-15 people arrived at 7, only half of the hot buffet was ready and there was no milk to be found. Staff member let on that they thought breakfast was from 715. Poor choice of fresh non cooked items such as fruit and hot drinks were pre-made and waiting in flasks.

Comfortable, nice, clean, warm and large room. Kind, friendly and helpful reception staff. Large parking area. Very central and close to a huge supermarket (just in case, you know). We came from a 33 hours car journey and were frankly exhausted. The kind and understanding reception ladies were a much needed welcome. Very good value for your money indeed. Two thumbs up!

I only write reviews when I feel they are necessary, whether they are absolutely terrible or it’s incredibly good. On this occasion, the quality hotel was incredibly good. I find most people leaving reviews are just snobs and think the world owes them something. Before looking to go somewhere, make sure it’s to your standard. Don’t go to a 3 star hotel and expect it to the Marriott hotel. Me and my wife had our wedding reception here and have nothing but good things to say. I would have no reason to lie, if it was shit, I could happily say so… but it wasn’t. The organisation was great Andy, who is the assistant manager was always on hand and always there to make sure I had all my questions answered, and Vickie the wedding organiser was thorough when answering any questions prior to the day. The customer service we received throughout the day could have been improved. The receptionist and bar staff were miserable and grumpy. But didn’t affect our wonderful day. The food was delicious! Really well cooked and tasty. All our guest said good things about the food. The dj was a good laugh and very involved and did what I asked of the music. The drinks were reasonable considering it was hotel prices. The rooms were good, much better than a travel lodge or premier inn. I would recommend 104 or 108. All our guests who had rooms did have anything bad to say.

Seen better days. Wouldn't really recommend it.

Having stayed at this hotel only once before with my partner, we decided to try it again, hoping for a better experience. The first time we stayed, a fire alarm sounded at 2.30am and the entire hotel was evacuated and made to stand outside for 45mins. We tried to not let it affect our stay but it was very inconvenient considering we had appointments early in the morning. We decided to stay again, hoping for a less unsettled night. I had booked and paid for a standard double room for two nights. When I entered my room, I saw that I had not been given a double, but a twin room. I asked the receptionist about this, assuming there had been some confusion and the blonde lady there was astonishingly rude and abrupt. She told me the best she could do was move us to a disabled room (which would still be a twin room) and push our beds together. When I asked for my money back so we could go to another hotel just down the road, she practically threw my money at me without so much of an apology or explanation as to why I had been given a twin room when I had booked a double. My partner and I have sworn to never go back there, due to her terrible service. The hotel itself is OK, but the standards of the staff let it down.

Reception were helpful and efficient. Room clean and well prepared Wi-Fi worked well in room. Only let down was the abruptness of the breakfast waitress. Breakfast was ok nothing special.

Awful. The receptionist was abrupt, unwelcoming and rude. The bed was lumpy and was jusr two single beds squashed together. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything going on in the corridors. The final straw was the continental breakfast arriving with just ONE croissant for my wife and I to share. Definitely NOT a quality hotel.
