Cheap clean room, helpful staff in Toby grill bar (picking up key fob) for the room.

Bedroom was nicely decorated and hotel was in a good location. Only downside was the continantal breakfast, not much choice.

Had a really good time there. Room nice and cosy and big. Staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely go back there I rate it 5 stars.

Have stayed a few times, great value for money, clean, comfortable rooms, breakfast very good. Our last stay was Mother's Day, breakfast was very busy, short staffed due to illness, staff were rushed off their feet, but still delivered a great service.

Hotel is dated and one of the beds in our room was uncomfortable. That's a no no in a hotel. Very handy for the carvery downstairs.

Room was large and clean food could of been better breakfast was only warm.

Room was really clean, food at carvery was really good, staff really work hard, but hotel side of things (sign for check in, check out procedure) could be better.

Brilliant good food rooms staff and very clean.

Good position for access into city centre and / or Worcestershire countryside. Good choice of food for vegetarians and even larger choice for meat eaters.

A bit of a tired old pub/b&b/restaurant, in need of redecorating, however, the staff were lovely and the breakfast was value for money. But our bed was uncomfortable and our room smelt musty. Hence the 3

What can I say about my experience at the InnKeepers Lodge? It's a poor quality restless disaster zone. It cost £62 for the night for a so called family quad room with 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. I got a twin room with two single beds, had an uncomfortable nights sleep due to a room invader; then I was locked in and could not leave the horrific hotel in the morning. First thing to bear in mind about this hotel, it's a Toby Carvery, you have to wade through the rafts of diners to get to the reception; which is the bar area. When you are eventually served, the keys have a fob on them to give access to the otherwise locked doors which lead to the bedrooms, my fob didn't work; which was fixed eventually with a replacement. You walk through the dirty and grubby rabbit warren corridors to get to the rooms. On the way be careful not to trip over the bags of dirty laundry hanging around. Except for the fact that the room had no double bed but two singles, it was clean and the temperature was ok. The bed was uncomfortable and small. The tea making facilities were OK, however there was no iron or ironing board. To give you an idea of the priorities of this hotel, you can sit on the toilet and watch TV at the same time; if that's a bonus and sleeping is not a requirement then crack on. The sleeping experience: I was awoken shortly after midnight, when a random woman unlocked my door and entered the room.

Good Food, Good Service, Quality place to eat.

Excellent dark room and comfy bed. Breakfast however lost the final star for changing the menu since last visit (losing pancakes) but more importantly, serving mushy banana with cold store bought waffle!

No nonsense rooms, clean and friendly with decent family rooms. Pub is standard chain affair. Good for town if you like the bus.

Good value for money, only negative was that the lower hall had a strong smell of damp.

Checking in was done quickly without issues. Our room was in the basement which meant we didn't get any Wi-Fi signal. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The main bed was so soft it was more like sleeping on a trampoline. The sofa bed was equally as bad but hard and my son's could feel the springs poking through the mattress. The continental breakfast was OK, the service was terrible. I had to keep asking for things that hadn't been replenished like juice, butter, spoons etc. The location of the hotel was good and it took just 15 minutes by car to reach the city centre. Although we got this hotel room on a deal for £35 we wouldn't stay here again.

Family and welcoming place you dine well and at attractive prices. The hotel has comfortable rooms and family also really pretty. Buy a reduction for the British as it is not provided by the hotel. Only point to unfavourable distance from Birmingham City Centre, too far if you want to walk. Convenient bus lines 140 141. A short distance on the same path intersects the 126 and 9 leading right downtown. As far as Birmingham, few things to visit.
