Room was small but clean. Breakfast wasn't very nice a bit greasy.

Nice clean room. Friendly people. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely book again in the future Had a great weekend. Also brilliant location.

Rooms are good just check the TV and TV remotes as some of them aren’t working and the service needs improving as there is sometimes no one in the room to help.

Great place and welcoming hosts. Always a nice stay in this place. Would always recommend staying here when I'm in the area. Rooms are always clean and it's quiet and easy to get your head down.

Chose The Chedburgh because we were able to take Lucy the dog with us and we're so glad we did. Paul and Louise are friendly welcoming hosts. The room was clean, with an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was well prepared and plentiful. Brilliantly situated, only 2 minutes to the sea and less than 5 minutes to the metro and transport links to Newcastle centre. We had a fabulous time and can't wait to come back!

Excellent location, lovely place, ran by a lovely family.

Good size room but hand basin in the room not in ensuite. Bath towel provided but no hand towel. TV small and no Sky, even though advertised. Only one of three bulbs in ceiling light working. Bed fairly comfortable.

Very nice BB with lovely friendly owners, my only 2 suggestions are I'd like to have seen a nice 32" TV on the wall facing the end of the bed and the dinning room door closed in the morning as the smell of food cooking for breakfast gets straight into the bedrooms from the kitchen and for me made me feel sick.

I had a lovely stay last night. Room was clean, central location and 2 mins to the sea front. Breakfast was yummy and service was really good. Very welcoming and homely. Thank you Paul and Louise. Xxx.

Lumpy beds. No coffee. No ensuite.

Really nice place me and my son was doing a bit of traveling over the Easter weekend seeing family and we stayed the one night here we liked the rooms and the owners was lovely people would definitely recommend this to others.

Owner was friendly. Room was clean. Beds were comfy.

Been here 3 days working down here stayed here cracking plaice close to town beech and staff were lovely and breakfast 10-10 thanks for having me if working down here again will be back.

This B&B at first appears cozy and quaint. In room 9, only after closer inspection, I noted the TV remote in my room was missing. The room sink wasn't properly secured to the wall. The sink light didn't work. The wall art was not straight. The Wi-Fi repeater/booster didn't work throughout my stay. The fact that the antenna were not pointing upwards and were, in fact, broken probably explained the poor Wi-Fi. I declined the offer to approach the proprietor to rectify the issue as I felt it was impossible to resolve in the circumstances. I resorted to using the excellent 4G OTA (over the air) mobile Internet. There was noticably bad peeling of wallpaper on the stairs. Despite a strong wind howling a gale outside my room was secure, clean, warm and cozy. The shower door didn't close properly but the shower worked well. Breakfast was pleasant. Cheap value ingredients but was piping hot. 2/3 — Room/Bed 3/3 — Shower 2/3 — Breakfast 1/1 — Bonus = Value for Money Total 8/10

An excellent guest house with excellent value for money clean and well run by people who make you feel welcome and put themselves out to help you if needed and the food is excellent too I have family and friends that have all used this guest house and they all agree that it is well ran.

Fantastic B&B! Great value for money infact unbelievable value! It was clean, the food was great and the owners were really nice and made you feel right at home. Sky Sports 1, 2, 3 in all the rooms as well as free veiw flat screen tv's! Defo recommend here people that have complained a dont understand.

We had the misfortune of staying in this depressing place a few months ago, we would have tried to find somewhere else for the second night but didnt have time, so had to endure another night in the most uncomfortable bed with accompanying pillow! dark and dingy decoration not at all inviting, landlady tried her best with small child in tow to cook breakfast she forgot our tea! no I would not recommend to anyone.
