Staff very accommodating nothing too much trouble would highly recommend this premier inn.

Lovely breakfast friendly staff Good comfy bed.

Temperature of the rooms in this particular Premier Inn is ridiculous! So uncomfortable. Staff confirmed they had issues but nothing done about it. 14 degrees outside but 28 degrees in the room itself at the lowest with a fan on and window open. Absolutely horrible.

Great location, ample parking, Premier Inn are consistent and you know the rooms are generously sized and beds comfy always. Friendly staff, check in easy.

Restaurant staff brilliant.

Good that we have a samsung phone and can connect it to the TV to watch Netflix's.

I've stayed here a number of occasions and every time have found the staff to be helpful and friendly. James the manager was helpful and friendly and shola on reception as as always very pleasant and friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. A credit to the hotel.

Great staff and lady behind reception this morning 31/05/2019 was great with my boys and even gave then a box of chocolates for the long journey home definitely will be back at hotel again when next up.

Great hotel and loads of parking. Abit of drive to the centre of Sunderland but its not too bad. Clean and tidy staff seemed nice.

My favourite premier Inn. Lovely ladies on reception, they do you proud. Always make everyone feel very welcome.

Always clean and comfortable. Easy to get to. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is expensive if you don't want very much as the only option is an unlimited buffet. The hotel has been extended recently and the new rooms seem a bit smaller than the old ones and they are a *lot* further from reception/the car park, so ask for one of the original rooms.

Loved my stay here. The Premier Inn itself is ideally placed by the main road. The beds are comfy and you have the TV in front of you to relax. The Brewer's Fayre restaurant is attached and the walkway to it is to the left of the hotel reception. They serve great food and the staff are very friendly. I'd highly recommend a visit here!

Like a wild west saloon. Very much a local watering hole. Slow service poor food and just not a place to relax.

Great place to take a family for a quick bite to eat with a play area. Bit of a wait during busy periods and can get a little noisy at times.

Friendly staff, meal was decent in the Brewers Fayre, breakfast was a quite dried out though. My room faced onto the A19 which was pretty noisy throughout the night.

Stayed due to an event nearby. Although right next to the A19, it was quiet (I was in a room facing the car park. The hotel is connected to the pub, and that has a great selection of food and alcoholic beverages at very competitive prices. My friend trid the Tandoori mix and was very impressed, good selection of veggies too. Definitely recommend.

Reception were courteous but a little too much charting amongst themselves. Good was great and the rooms functional. Nothing around the hotel to do and the road can be very noisy.

The room was fantastic and the bed was very comfy. Reception and check in was brilliant and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

The room was clean and the bed comfy. High traffic noise. Friendly reception staff. The brewers fayre was pretty awful. It was the Saturday before Christmas so we expected it to be busy. There were hardly any bar staff and there was a long wait to get served. Then there was a long wait for the food to arrive. It wasn't particularly nice and it wasn't hot. Had to send one back to have the veg added as they had forgotten to put it on the plate. Then we had another long wait for dessert even after asking twice. And it was nothing like the description on the menu. Was meant to be black forest trifle but they must have run out of cherries as it was black currants. Awful.

Absolutely amazing service. Just arrived at the hotel and the team have prepared me a fantastic meal. They did not have to do this at 22.45 at night, but they chose to make a difference to my stay. Simply great service.

Excellent family room loads of room and high spec for £29 a night better than most hotels.

The Hotel Room was immaculate and the service was superb from the reception staff! However the Brewers Fayre was poor for an evening meal The restaurant was very quiet but I waited 25 minutes for my meal ordered at 5.02 pm. I had to ask where my meal was and when served it was poorly presented and under cooked! Plenty of staff on duty just nobody giving any direction! Otherwise it would be a 5* Service!

Rooms are always clean and practical in premier inns and this hotel is no different. Good price and location.

First time at this Premier inn… lovely friendly staff… clean rooms and a comfy bed. We had the meal deal too which I would advise people to have as our meal at the Brewer's Fayer was lovely. By the end of this year we will have stayed in five different Premier Inns in five different locations around the country and not had a problem with one.

Location is ideal for our needs visiting family and not too far from lovely beaches at South Shields. We're a family of 5 and can fit comfortably in the family room. We had one slight problem with house keeping in one day but reception were very quick to respond to our concerns. Bedroom slightly too warm for our needs at night.

Rooms perfect. Location, easy to find although sat nav sends you unnecessarily up to the next round about and back. Very helpful and friendly.

Clean hotel with restaurant, friendly and helpful staff at the reception. The car park next to the hotel is a bit small but there are plenty of places in the additional car park which is also the restaurant car park. The room has all common facilities, fan, radiator, air-conditioning, TV, mirrors everywhere, window that you can open, etc. One con, the hotel is not well advertised from the main road and I struggled to find it the first time due to darkness.

Use Premier Inns a lot. This must be the friendliest one I've been to. Staff helpful, smiling and cheerful. Room good food fine and service fine.

Stayed here, along with daughter, for a long weekend for my niece's wedding. Staff as friendly and helpful as ever. Nice rooms with vvv comfy beds. Having a fan in the room already was a godsend in this heat! Always stay here when back in area visiting family and will continue to do so. Thanks to all staff.

Was booked for 2 nights on way back south from
Scotland holiday. Room was noisy, pillows flat and have no idea why Premier Inn have changed these. I stay in Premier Inns a lot for work so silly changes I notice.
There was only towels for one person despite booking for two, had to ask twice for the extras. The pedestal fan on moving it, broke, the button broke meaning it only oscelated and when it did it was too noisy to have on so the room got really warm.
Left after the one night and was quiet happy that I was refunded the night I cancelled.

Always do! We stay here when we visit my Husbands relatives in Sunderland. Always great staff, food, drink and service and the best bit is the bed it's fabulous! We were in one of the new rooms and very nicely done.

We stayed in there on a business trip on 24th Jan. There was a problem with the meals which led to us waiting over an hour for meals to arrive and when they finally did the meals were not very good and one of the meals had to be substituted at the last minute because of a delivery problem that day. The restaurant manager was very apologetic and gave us our main meals for free which was good.
I can understand that sometimes things go wrong but what really annoyed me was my room (16) which I could not get warm in despite turning on the heater and turning up the thermostat to 23. Ended up going to bed in my clothes.
Myself and my wife use hotels quite often and will definitely think twice about Premier Inn after my stay.
One positive point, the breakfast was very good so top marks for that.

Sunderland wessingtin way! Excellent service friendly staff although hard to recognise their accent! Food at the restaurant was delicious and rooms are of exceptional quality! 5 stars!

Good rooms, good food next door, better beds than the prem inn down the road.

If your going to stay here make sure you get an odd numbered room. The room initially seemed like good value for the two nights we stayed there, the staff were helpful but the room backed on to the road and there was quite a lot of road noise at night we were in an even numbered room. The room had a fan and spare sheets provided if the duvet was too hot but even that wasn't enough for a summer evening. We really needed to keep the window open for ventilation but that obviously increased road noise. The shower pressure wasn't great but the free Wi-Fi was fast.

Always friendly, rooms spotless, wall mounted tv, plenty of supplies (towels shampoo beverages) only problem is bed is waaayyy too comfy. Flat out the moment I touch it. Keep up the great service.
