Lovely hotel Clean and comfortable Staff couldn’t do enough for us even though we were a group of 17 Food excellent Highly recommended.

Centre of Newcastle, close to all amenities. Lovely staff, fab sleep. Breakfast was lovely and the sun was shining so we Sat outside on the balcony.

We recently won an overnight stay, breakfast and Prosecco at the Hotel Indigo in Newcastle. The hotel was lovely, clean and stylish and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was incredible and there was an extensive menu. The hotel is in a great location and we walked to our restaurant and bar within five minutes. It was a great base from which to explore a fantastic city.

Absolutely excellent, we stayed last night with the marco escapes offer loved it, the staff were all fantastic from the checking in with James to the barman to the lovely restaurant staff, food was excellent, we were really impressed and will stay again, room was great too. Thank you ☺️

Helpful staff, lovely breakfast with Pan Haggerty, really took me back to time spent with my Mam, lovely comfortable room with Coffee, TV spacious shower, nice beers and Margaritas, nice touch putting chilled water in the fridge, cannot recommend the Indigo enough, great place central to the 02 and several of the more popular bars and pubs, also close to the station and metro.

We stayed in a 4th floor executive room with your own balcony. The room was immaculate and modern. The staff and service was amazing.

Well presented, modern rooms. Exeptional dining and great staff. All in the centre of The Toon. 2 minute walk to Quayside and it's bars/eateries and the Bigg Market just another 30 seconds away. Will definitely make a return stay.

Excellent facilities. King room very comfortable. Conveniently located with close access to Train and Bus Station's. A variety of Restaurants and other eating facilities are close by, while Eldon Square Shopping Complex is within walking distance for retail Shopping and again a variety of eating outlets to suit everybody's needs. Hotel Staff very friendly and accommodating. Thank You.

What can I say? Spacious room, comfortable bed, air conditioning does it's job well, extras like good hair dryer and minibar. The breakfast is served in small portions, but tastes good. I was very happy with my stay here.

Now this is a hotel. I can't begin to explain just how good this place is, especially for the money. Breakfasts are to die for, free goodies in the mini fridge topped up every day, impeccable cleanliness, and they've even thought of the bathroom, right down to a speaker to hear the TV or music from your phone while you shower, and a heated mirror to prevent steaming over for after! The place is simply amazing, and I always try to make sure I book here whenever visiting Newcastle on business or leisure.

Absolutely amazing stay! Hotel is beautifully decorated and clean. We were staying for my partners birthday — I had messaged the hotel about this prior to our arrival and when we arrived we were given a free upgrade to a room with a balcony, as well as a bottle of prosecco in the room and a lovely happy birthday message from the staff! Room was beautiful — breakfast was good and the cocktails fabulous! This has now become our favourite hotel in Newcastle.

Brilliant hotel in a really good location. Very close to the train station and right in the heart of the city. Rooms were nice, clean, cool and modern. Bathroom was also excellent. Afternoon tea and drinks were brilliant and the service was superb, a special mention to the waitress Emy who was very, very good at her job. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Great hotel, lovely staff and location is perfect. Shower hot and decent power. Gym isn't the best but not the end of the world. Food was great and plenty of choice for breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again.

I really enjoyed this hotel. If you're not familiar with the area, driving there can be a bit tricky due to the roadworks and one way streets. The rooms are nice and modern. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have nice details. The food at the restaurant is great. Room service was very fast and the food was excellent. Parking is in the car park just behind the hotel, so fairly convenient.

Excellent location. Smack in the middle of grainger town and a stone throw away from the train station. Food, ambiance and service was all up to standards. Loved it.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Hotel Indigo in Newcastle! It was my second stay here and it certainly didn’t disappoint! My friend and I were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and were pleased to find we had been upgraded to a room with a balcony! As usual the dressing gown and complimentary mini bar was very much appreciated! Our twin room was modern, spacious and very clean! All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast which was included in our room rate very tasty! Love the location of the hotel and proximity to the train station. Looking forward to staying in a Hotel Indigo in the near future!

I cannot recommend this Hotel highly enough. Every single member of staff was very friendly, clued up and went beyond the call of duty. The rooms are fabulous, the restaurant marvellous and breakfast as good as anywhere I have been. I think, pound for pound, this is the best value hotel I have stayed in and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. Well done. Keep it up.

The hotel is in a very central location and only a stones throw from the train station. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a Marco Pierre White Steakhouse on site. We didn't eat here, but the breakfast was lovely!

I won the competition that was posted on the Facebook page for Valentine’s Day. From start to finish it was amazing. The customer service was fantastic, special thanks to Jayde who sorted everything out for us to make it stress free for when we arrived. When I checked in staff were so friendly and very helpful. Me and my partner were both at work the next day so needed both cars and parking was free for both. They gave us an amazing room, complimentary mini bar, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom, couldn’t fault the room at all. We also got breakfast included which was such a nice touch. So much choice and the food was cooked to perfection and again the service was fantastic. Thank you so much Hotel Indigo for a lovely, relaxing stay. We 100% will be back to visit, we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you again.

Brilliant the moment we walk though the door. Rooms and beds were cosy. Struggle to wake up due to how great the comfort of the bed was… Breakfast 10/10, making plans to come back.

First time hear and will definitely be back. I had the best sleep in a hotel ever. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend.

I'm halfway through a two-week work-related stay and continue to be impressed by this hotel and particularly the staff who are diligent, cheerful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and well designed with excellent showers. Breakfast is substantial and varied although I believe quite expensive. Mine's included in the room price. The location is good, only 3 minutes walk from the railway station and close to some pleasant bars. The car park, especially the lower one, is quite tight and it only takes a couple of people to park insensitively to make manouevering tricky but I suppose it's what you expect in a city centre. I'm told that satellite navigation brings you out in some unexpected locations if you use the postcode but I didn't need to use it.

Super stay here. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms and facilities were perfect. No complaints at all!

Very nice modern hotel with cocktail bar and good food from their Marco Pierre White restaurant. Clean, stylish rooms and friendly staff. Close to Newcastle city centre, great for the O2 Academy and Chinatown.

We stayed here last night. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small modern and clean. The pillows were really uncomfortable and the lock on our window was broken. The double glazed windows are old and we could hear all the noise from outside. The mimi bar was a nice touch though. Breakfast was nice but the service was poor the waitress came with our main breakfast but no one had cleared the plates from our cereals so we had to lift a plate for her to put a plate down ect. Then had to ask for fresh cutlery. Pleased the breakfast was included in the price of the room as I wouldn't have paid nearly £8 for a bowl of porridge and £17 for a mediocre cooked breakfast.

We always enjoy our visits to this hotel be it for afternoon tea or a couple of nights stay including breakfast and dinner. All staff are always very friendly and food is generally of an high standard. However, we find breakfast service to be sometimes very slow and staff confused about tables v orders. Rooms are spotlessly clean, boutique style and a real joy to stay in although the walls seem very thin as you can hear every sound from neighbouring rooms. The hotel has secure car parking very close to the hotel entrance. All in all a great hotel to visit!

Always wanted to stay at a hotel Indigo and I was very impressed. The staff were great and very helpful as I have limited mobility so they helped me up and down with my bags. Breakfast was great and if I am in the Newcastle again it will be my hotel of choice.

Great hotel right in the Newcastle city centre. Amazing restaurant in the hotel available on the ground floor or as room service. Rooms are unique and really well designer and all the staff are really friendly.

It was just what we needed, having spent the last 26 hours in the air and airport lounges. Clean rooms, reliable Wi-Fi (unlike Australia), lovely breakfast smorgasbord, comfy beds and most welcoming staff. Location is great… middle of a very pretty part of town with plenty to do and see nearby.

We had a nice furnished quiet room, the bathroom was big enough for us and clean. The Breakfast — the Buffet area is a bit small, the selection of appropriate, enjoyable, is that there is a large selection of hot dishes you can order. What appealed to me personally, were the brown Plastic tablecloths, which are not felt as pleasant. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the biggest plus point of the hotel. The situation in the city is very Central, so are the paths leading to interesting places, short.

Stayed here for one night before departing for our Holiday, fantastic hotel, our room was superb, lovely balcony even in the rain! Food in the restaurant was outstanding. All the staff were great and so helpful, a special mention to Zak on reception for our pre arrival assistance, also on check in, he is a great asset to your hotel. I am sure we would return.

The rooms are well presented and the staff were welcoming. The hotel is situated right in the middle of the city which is useful if you'd like to get about and see places. We also ate in the restaurant and it was a foodies dream.

Decor is very cool, but the hard wooden flooring and paper thin walls means that you and you'll get to know all your neighbours' secrets. Very, very noisy. Location is excellent. Breakfast quality is top notch but service is slooow. I mentioned my 20 minute wait to be asked my order and was told that a new regime is in place. It used to be buffet style, it's now wait and more wait style. I did notice that the man taking the orders likes the ladies, they seemed to get lots of chats and quick service. Perhaps next time I'll don a wig. Couldn't fault the in room items (dressing gown, well stocked fridge, rain shower, top of the range toiletries). Only issues were dubious breakfast service and lack of privacy from the paper thin walls.

Brilliant nights stay here, will stay here again. Only let down is parking, but there's plenty of long stay places around it. We parked at the train station, 5 minutes walk.

Modern and nice hotel in the center of the city. Good resturant.

Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Check if there are any performances in the O2 Academy just outside as you may hear some noise until about midnight. My only disappointment is the main shower head has absolutely no pressure — rain water hits you with more force than the main shower head. If you want a pressure shower you're better off with the removable hose like shower head.

We spent a lovely Christmas 2015 here. We were looked after royally. Great staff, great location. We'll be back!

I stayed at Hotel Indigo 06/07/14 on my wedding night 1 year ago today and was so impressed with the room and the service of the staff who were all amazing and of course the fabulous breakfast decided to book a table of 10 for sunday lunch to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, on arrival the staff were brilliant and all throughout the meal they even brought out 2 plates for myself and Husband with cake and had written in chocolate Happy Anniversary which made my day even more special :) The food was out of this world "AMAZING" I highly recommend this place and will most definitely be making this an anual event for sure. Thankyou Hotel Indigo especially to your staff and of course the Chef xxxxxxxxx.

The location for this hotel, for business purposes, is perfect. Come out of Grainger street exit of the Metro, i'ts right there in front of you. The rooms are nice, nothing too special, but they have a cosy feel to them. With a reasonable, but free, mini bar in the room. The bathrooms are great, nice shower and features in there. Also you can play music from the TV and Devices in the bathroom from the speakers in there! Great location, good rooms, good price for business costs, I'd definitely stay again. Not forgetting to mention the service is lovely too.

Very nice modern hotel. Staff all extremely attentive, polite and welcoming. Marco Pierre white restaurant also very good. Especially the mussel soup and lamb rump. Stayed for 3 nights on business.
