The staff is very friendly and hospitable. You have the option of using the fridge and microwave it when you want. We have been 14 people and we have been taken care of very well. In terms of location, there is metro 3 min walking and in 10 you are in the centre of Newcastle.

Would not recommend staying here at all. The place wasn't clean, the bed sheets didn't look like they had been washed, shower and bathroom facilities were below acceptable and the beds were some of the worst I have experienced — springs you could feel just by touching the bed. We paid £50 for a night, was not worth the money by any means.

This is a great place for your wallet, but you have to be prepared because you're not offered any luxury. Beds were clean, but the heater worked sometimes. There is some cereal available for dinner/breakfast and a TV in the kitchen.

Very budget hotel. Four of us shared one attic room with hard bunkbeds and it had no lock, and it was still a bit too expensive.

Stay at your own risk! dodgy locks, dodgy lighting, dodgy owner. Robbed of £100 deposit — not returned although promised and never answers his phone. Cost £295 in total. Get what you pay for in this cheap, basic hostel. Not the cleanest place, long wait to get checked in, empty cans of special brew next to sink, crisp packets in the bath?! 3 out of 4 main light bulbs burst, we were promised they'd be fixed for us coming home from our night out but weren't and subsequently had to find our way to bed in the dark. Door only locks from the outside. Left the place tidier than it was when we got there but still robbed of our £100 deposit! Given mobile number to contact but they never answer. Citizens advice still trying to help get deposit back. Would be cheaper booking a hotel in the end! We honestly don't ask for much but standards were still not met. Stay at your own risk!

We arrived at 12 in the night from the central bus station NewCastle, with a local taxi and even knew the hotel, nor could I find it! Very far from downtown, a street that is dark and dirty, we asked a group of young people q bebian in the street, you could not see the poster, above a low commercial other, it is a narrow gate and a sign mini with lots of little lights q puts hotel, I found a house dating! A dark stairway narrow, the personal loss, people of the night, we ask for deposit of 20 euros if we break something, we don't carry cash in pounds, and we have q pay the night right away, and by not leaving a deposit does not give us a room key, so q had q atrancarla with a sofa, for q not enter anyone for the night The room was a mini, two bunk beds, box spring, springs, conchon superfine, sheets black, mugrosas, olian disinfectant, very cold, there was nothing more, we go to bed dressed disgust! Street noises, noises in the hallway. People who arrived in the wee hours of the morning, with laughter and noise. A latrine and a shower for girls, in front of the reception, insufficient. This must have been an old floor before, on the q would put carpet. Not who gave them the opening license! Not me I ran, pq was 1 in the morning, and he had a child, I didn't sleep all night and at 6 in the morning, we asked for a taxi and we left in a hurry! Oliamos fatal, the clothes and the hair! Nor breakfast. Or shower!

Cheap no frills rooms. Basic Wi-Fi had good coverage in rooms. Cheap upgrade to premium Wi-Fi (£1 per day). Breakfast menu is good value for money, and actually encourages you to order what you want, rather than everything on the menu. A welcome change. The hotel is sadly let down by its clientele, with our stay interrupted by noisy revellers returning to their rooms, and also a random check for cannabis. The staff were very friendly though and made the stay pleasant.

Friendly staff, bar is good for watching football and having drinks before you hit the toon.

Staff were really pleasant and helpful except the boy on the desk favoured certain guests. Room's not worth the money definitely not 4 star kept awake by banging nightclub followed by pigeons on windowsill. Bath plug didn't work pipes under sink all showing under rim of toilet filthy sharp screw on door to mini bar which cut my hand. Room prices for food snacks and drinks extortionate prices. Felt we had been bundled into a room with a back street view because though to be too common.

We went for afternoon tea at the vermont and it was very enjoyable. The staff and the location are its strength. The food was generally excellent, the only negative is that I didn't like the blue cupcake. Everything else was tasty.

Afternoon tea was excellent. Great selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Fresh tea or coffee, refilled as requested. Glass of Prosecco too. Definitely recommend.

The Warerooms bar is very nice. Cozy, good selection and decent prices.

Waited over an hour before being offered drinks. Booked Booked in for 3 pm so aware we were arriving. Then waited another half hour for food order. Booked afternoon tea had a wine instead of tea but not deducted from bill. Would think twice about visiting again!

Very modern and clean rooms. Free laundry is a great plus. The overall feel of the place is really crisp and professional, definitely worth the price.

Attended an Enchanted Ball with my six year old daughter. A beautiful venue and the Princesses from Emma Enchanted were amazing as always. The venue is stunning but the party I was in felt the service was not as expected and not value for money. There was 13 in our party and the amount of food received on our table was exactly the same as a table with 4! Obviously we had no left overs but the other table had a lot of wasted food. I would have to reconsider attending another event here. Quite disappointed.
