Lovely rooms with 4 poster beds. Clean and comfy. Good menu and food well cooked Staff very helpful and friendly.

Not saying this place is a bit special — — but we visited late September following recommendation from friends and had the most wonderful meal, beautiful bedroom and a great breakfast (not to mention some very nice St Emilion Grand Cru). It was so good that we're doing the same again tomorrow night with our other friends… looking forward to a gastronomic treat…

We went to this lovely restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Absolutely loved it! Exquisite cuisine, really lovely friendly welcoming staff. The service was just simply outstanding as was the delicious food. You can see why this restaurant has won so many awards. Would highly recommend 5 stars all round.

Two excellent meals from the takeaway menu. Easy to order and collect, food comes with clear instructions to finish cooking at home. The quality of food was excellent. Won’t be long before we’re purchasing again.

Enjoyed a fabulous meal last night. The food was so tasty and portion sized were good. Easy to follow instructions for reheating. Will certainly be back.

We have just had a fantastic 3 course take away for my husbands birthday.
It was delicious. Easy to follow instructions to re heat.
We particularly liked the pork croquette, the beef stroganoff and the treacle tart! we shall be back!

Stayed here on Friday evening, lovely comfortable rooms, and the meal was lovely, the beef was the best I have ever tasted, great family feel and made to feel very welcome, great hosts and food, defo recommend and will be returning in the near future!

I have eaten/stayed at The Auberge many, many times in the last 21 years and I’ve never known a family so welcoming and such beautiful food. The rooms are a beautiful, classy addition to the cosy, atmospheric restaurant. The food is without exception astounding and innovative. I love that the chefs do their best to source their food locally and they also grow a lot of it themselves. It’s clear to me that the family work very hard and take a lot of pride in their business and they have every reason to be proud. I’ll be back. Again.

Wow! What a great evening. Recommended by a good friend and you didn’t disappoint. The Escargot were Amazing. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the desert certainly finished us off. You have certainly lived up to your reputation for being the perfect hosts.

We had yet another gorgeous stay here, rembered as well. Food was perfect as usual, bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely. Very lovely and romantic atsmophere. Would highly recommend coming here. Xx.

The entire staff always goes above and beyond to make us feel special and catered to. Each of our special requests are met with ease and diligence. We keep coming back for the accommodations and the excellent dining experience and options. Kudos to all involved!

Beautiful grouds and rooms couldnt do enough for you. Very clean and tidy and very organized nothing is too much trouble for them breakfast nice and relaxed woukd defo recommend 5 stars.

Our favourite place, The rooms are gorgeous, the food is amazing & the service is fantastic.

I had my birthday supper here this evening and yet again it was exceptionally good. Thank you all so much for a very special evening, John, Dee, all the kitchen staff and of course Little John who is always the icing on my cake.

Always good to see Dee & John — try the cheese soufflé starter, which is excellent. Yesterday, I had 'fish of the day' which was loin of cod — served with new potatoes & pickled radicchio — a great combination & the fish was perfect. After lots of wine, a black coffee served with fudge & chocolates just hit the spot!

Having passed this establishment numerous times, and wondering what it was like, I was blown away! My partner and I were more than happy with the warm friendly welcome, the spacious well appointed room and of course the wonderful food will return and recommend to our friends.
