Fantastic, awesome, brilliant, The first impression of the Marquis, it stands proud on top of the hill overlooking the valley, every thing is like new, it has only been open since November 2016, but it's like it was finished yesterday, everything is kept so clean, right from the car park throughout the Hotel the details and perfection is perfect! The whole experience was second to none, staff so friendly every thing they done was no trouble and spot on. Even the menu book was like new, pages perfect, I felt I was the first to open it and read the pages not dirty or creased and menu laid out well. I was there for my wife's Birthday celebration a surprise for her, a party of eight. The staff were so helpful in making this a surprise and helped setting out the table of my choice to be decorated by both my sister in-laws. With various choices from the eight of us, throughout the three courses everything was to die for, such individual taste of every thing on the plate, cooked to perfection! Once finished we relaxed in one of the lounges and had coffees served with Birthday cake. The owner Steve thoughout the experience was also attentive to us checking all was ok. The girls were interested in the rooms, Steve gave them a guided tour of the honeymoon suite they were blown away so nice and quality fantastic. We all can't praise the Marquis enough we will be back for sure. Highly recommended just pop in for a drink at the bar or sit on the patio area over looking the valley you won't want to leave.
