Lovely staff, very good friendly atmosphere, my Husband I love coming to stay here!

Being able to use the pool and facilities. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Great meals, room clean and had everything I needed.

Staff are very friendly. Food selection just right.

Called in for breakfast with my family — it was pretty grim, horrible food. subsequently found out I had picked up a £100 parking fine for a half hour stop. One doesn't think that calling in to use their services on their property you could get a fine Yes there was a sign somewhere but you think the reception would warn you. I would like to fine them for the terrible dried up buffet breakfast Alan.

Very helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. They even took our bags to the car As both my husband and me cannot carry heavy bags We had booked an executive room, but found it very small. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen.

The holiday Inn in Corby remains my favourite due to the renovations. The room was pretty small. I've seen bigger rooms at holiday Inn express. Helpful staff. Breakfast was ok.

Always stay here when in Ipswich. Easy to park. Rooms good, food is good. Central location. No lift but got easily changed to ground floor when asked. Only 2 floors anyway. Pool is good havent used gym.

Superb service and helpful staff! We stayed for three nights and enjoyed it very much. New towels received each time you go and swim was fantastic. The breakfast was fresh and great! Definitely would recommend it to others.

Nice spacious room. Room temperature just right even during the summer using the air conditioning. Staff very attentive — brought the tooth brush to us after we realises that we forgot to pack it.

Great bed, service, nights sleep. Very clean. Needs decent ale at bar and to remove room service charge which is a total rip off.

Just joined gym after many years out, the staff made me feel very welcome and our at hand to help at any anytime.

After spending just under £40 on main course and one drink each, I’ve asked for some bread at which I’ve been served with a plate with 2 thin slices of plain white bread “similar to Aldis basic line “ I was was asked to pay £3.60 fo it. As it hadn’t been made clear that there will be a change for it, I politely declined to have the bread. Minutes later one of the staff member came back and told me the chef will let me have it for £1.50 as it will be thrown to waste anyway.

Great stay at the Holiday Inn Ipswich. Staff was helpful before arriving with room arrangements and ensured we would have all we need. Check in was smooth. There is a shopping area and convenient bite to eat nearby incase restaurant is not open, though that do serve food at the bar. The pool with sauna/steam was well appreciated by the family. Comfortable beds. Would return in the future and happy to recommend… Oh staff was super helpful when I rang in having left the hotel as I had forgotten something and needed there help. Thumbs up me.

Great location, good price, worth a stay, spotless room, can't fault. Would definitely return.

Had a meeting at the holiday inn. Whilst waiting for the client to arrive staff where very friendly and very accomodating. Drinks are fairly priced (for a hotel) lovely open seating are with plenty of space.

Don't ask for a robe… Generally good, but leisure facilities are a bit tired. Hot tub too small.

I have spent many nights here, staying in a family room, whilst working locally. More than adequate for a good nights sleep between shifts.
Recommend hotel for short of medium term stay.

What a nice hotel to stay at we went there for this weekend loads of parking all staff very welcoming swimming was good good very good and kids eat free under 11’s with paying adult also breakfast included in the price and was delicious. Kids stayed in sofa beds all made up on our arrival had all you needed TV free Wi-Fi hairdryer iron iron board tea and coffee facilities and could order room service We all would stay there again thank you for a great stay.

Great place with nice staff but I'm removing too stars because it's £22 for a steak!

Brill lovely few days away tranquillity and great for nature walks. A hidden gem hot tub, sauna and swimmin pool free for guests 7 am — 10 pm daily and extremely family and child friendly.

Bar area v relaxing and gym equipment was excellent. Had a nice walk in the evening too. All round a great stay.

Hotel room was very large and comfortable we had a family room with pull out sofa bed which was pre made. Complimentary use of the pool and gym, the pool was warm and the gym well equipped. The breakfast was very nice buffet style cooked breakfast freshly made, there was also continental style breakfast available and toasts yoghurt cereals, croissant etc. But the main plus point for this hotel was the staff, every single staff member from reception, gym staff, bar staff and cleaners were happy welcoming and professional, so lovely to experience that.

Freezing room … member of staff came to look and did say that it was cold but would look into it and get it sorted for when we returned later that night. On our return from a party the room was still freezing. Called reception again and bearing in mind it was 12.30 am and we had been drinking we was told we could move rooms. So we had to pack up our belongings and go down the corridor. Yes ok it was a warmer room but it spoilt our evening.

Easy to find, plenty of parking. Housekeeping is helpful and cooperate. Lots of variety with cereals, continental, cold and hot breakfasts.

I stayed in an executive room. The size was bigger than I expected, with a couch and a queen bed Really comfy. I have found a KitKat and a bottle in the bedside table and a bath robe. The bathroom had a modern shower and plenty of amenities to use during my stay. There is a swimming pool but I haven't been there. The only 2 negative points that I will like to mention and that is the reason why I give 4 stars are; first of all no lift or if it was one not properly signed so It was not ideal to carry on all my luggage through the stairs. And secondly I asked in the breakfast for hot chocolate and the staff brought one made with water! Honestly I have taken hot chocolates all my life and using water for this is under my opinion a lack of quality.

We had our works christmas meal at the hotel and The staff were great the hotel and facilities were awesome. Overall great place to stay.

This place is appalling had booked a Xmas meal with a party who I no longer work for and holiday won’t give me money back although someone else has paid for the meal as well so they have kept my money which is theft. They say on booking no refund was not told this and actually it only says that the deposit is non refundable so in fact this is theft avoid this place if you want a dis honest place.

Spent a couple of nights here, room was quiet. Staff were helpful and polite. Food was nice. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Overall good experience. Lovely bed with a sizable room, but a very small bathroom. Good facilities (gym, spa, yoga, conference rooms) and a sizable restaurant and separate bar. Friendly staff and relatively quiet surroundings.

The rooms are nice, but bathrooms are tiny and no double beds, it's two singles pushed together!

Great location next to loads of amenities, £6 in a taxi to the centre of town, swimming pool and facilities were great. Rooms could being slightly bigger but they were very nice.

Okay, rooms are clean and spacious. Bathrooms very basic and Hiltons offer better even at their discount chains. No mini fridge to keep drinks cool.

If you are looking for a convenient place to meet, Holiday Inn Ipswich is a very good place. Easy to get to from A12 and A14. Enough parking. Nice Starbucks coffee and also lunch is at a reasonable standard. I have never stayed in this hotel, but have had meetings there a dozen times. Happy to keep this hotel as a good place to meet in Suffolk.

Good service. Good breakfast. Own. Has a swimming pool and a fitness centre. No elevators. Away from the city.

Location. No idea really. Working about 30 mins away. Quiet enough. Ready to find. Room. Ok. Some bathroom items look like they haven't moved / been replaced in months. Service. Pleasant but perhaps need that little bit extra.

Good for business meetings. Coffee a bit expensive.

Stayed here alot on business over the years and apart from the odd hickup, great place to stay with good facilities.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Food was great, room was clean. Only downside was a huge walk from bedroom to reception.

The location was decent. Rooms just as expected, great fitness and pool services available, and j was impressed with a nicer than average tasting hotel breakfast.

Good location on the edge of town. The price was reasonable when not booked direct. Free use of the gym and pool was a good Brucie Bonus. Negatives — pillows and bed a tad hard — breakfast not included and expensive when booked in advance, and ridiculously expensive when not booked.

Have not stayed, at hotel, however have had corporate meetings in the past been good. bar staff excellent, prices could be better food good, not enormous portions. atmosphere daytime good. decor needs a update.

Unfortunately I stayed at this hotel on Friday 1st Aug 2014 and have to say it was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. We were staying as my husband was a best man at a wedding and due to venue location this hotel was advised. Upon arrival we were told that no room had been booked and he had no recollection of our details, unfortunately as my husband booked it over the phone no email confirmation was sent so it was sadly their word against this. Being 5.5 months pregnant and 2 hours from home this news was quite distressing. We were told that there was nothing they could do and no alternative room could be provided as they were booked up. Luckily one of the wedding guests offered to go home at the end of the wedding, and the other guest he was to share a room with offered up their bed and was to stay in another room on the sofa. Upon returning to the hotel at 10.00pm, I went to find the alternative room, but couldn't find it so headed back to Reception with all my bits and pieces, only to be told after explaining why I was going into another guests room that they had actually found our room, and the booking clerk had taken down our details incorrectly (spelling our name wrong) it was of course a relief as this meant that the other guests could then stay however sadly one had made the journey home at this point.

This hotel has become like my second home. Generally, can't fault the place or the people. Nice friendly atmosphere. Happy.

Gym and pool, easy atmosphere and close to A12/14.

The reservations assistant Mandy Read was extremely helpful and went out of her way to give me directions to where I needed to get to.
