Love this place. So beautiful.

Nice place, nice people, clean and quiet.

Our second visit was disappointing, it is a fab location, the cabin is lovely to stay in. However the lock in the bathroom was still broken a year on, there was a bread crust behind the dresser and a biscuit on floor under the table. The bedding had the smell of someone else's perfume, whilst not unpleasant, meant they hadn't been cleaned. Last year the English breakfast came in a hamper and was amazing to unpack and have in the cabin. This year the English breakfast was extra and you had to go to the house. Just not the same. I hope they go back to how they were. We still enjoyed our stay but when it was so magical before it was a let down this time.

We stayed on family suite with terrace. Great garden area lovely to sit out in a evening. Tea and coffee small fridge. Comfy king bed and 2 equally comfy put up beds. Small rubble carpark. We didn't prebook breakfast so couldn't have any which was a shame. Lovely shower. The ad doesn't state need to prebook breakfast which if known I would have so little disappointing. Owner didn't offer the short cut to alton towers so not sure if there is one.

The house is situated near to Alton Towers and is perfect if you have kids. We were met with a "Welcome to Alton Brook House" which felt very pleasant. The room we stayed in was spacious and fully self contained with comfy beds for a family of five. We had a lovely breakfast brought to us in the morning and sat at the dining table in the room. The breakfast was brilliant and so many options from Full English, cereal, pain au chocolate, croissant, toast and yogurt. The view from the room looked out across a paddock with ducks, geese and horses, which was lovely to wake up too.

Great service lovely people great food very comfortable food only deducted for shower being dodgy temperature but no other problems at all very accommodating.

Yes, the countryside is lovely, but this house is misdescribed on its website as being 2.6 miles to Alton Towers when it is in fact between five and six and a half miles away (depending on your route) at minimum. The house also does not lie on the "Alton Brook" but on the "Alders Brook" and was for most of its life until recently known as "The Alders". The Alders Brook doesn't actually go anywhere near Alton Towers, and there's no such thing as the "Alton Brook" either to my knowledge.

Service was excellent, caravan was spotless with everything provided. Couldn't fault anything, the breakfast was lovely and there was loads of it. Highly recommended.

Can't wait to return. Amazing place, with great staff. 8 of us booked in, we were met promptly on arrival and shown to our rooms, we placed our breakfast order and were then left in the comfort of our wing of the house. The rooms were spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. I strongly recommend this place any family looking for a base close to Alton Towers. There is an issue with the location on maps, basically it's wrong only by about half a mile though. Ignore the "street view" house that's displayed, look for a wooden hanging sign next to the entrance half a mile down the road.

We arrived at Alton Brook house expecting to be shown to our "bungalow" which we booked for our family of 2 adults and 4 children for £161 per night. We were told we were in the "weird space ship thing". We were shocked that the "bungalow" was in fact a derelict static caravan. ** Please see **photographs** as words fail me. The directions to this place are totally misleading. The animals our children were looking forward to seeing were "off limits". When we politely refused to stay the owner said it was double booked anyway. Very odd set up and deliberately misleading. The gas boiler last displayed safety check was years ago.
