Went for a Fizzy Foxy High Tea yesterday 15/8/2020 and I must admit we was not very impressed. For the money you pay, you did not get as much as what you have done before but for the same price. 1x sweet scone each where as before we have always had 2. The clotted cream was forgotten and had to ask. We were not at all impressed compared to previous visits. Would not recommend for a high tea. Scones were tiny too.

Great place for a coffee and cake — socially distanced of course! Friendly and efficient staff who clean regularly.
Nice bar too!

After an error my end with banking, I popped into reception to sort it. Made to feel at ease with some laughs and great customer service ONCE AGAIN. Go Team Cleve Cannot recommend this club more actually.

I love the Cleve, I like to stay over and use the fantastic spa facilities, the spa treatments are also very good!
I like the food and drink there.
The staff are professional and make me feel valued. I can't wait to visit again. Highly recommended.

Staff are rude / and think it’s acceptable to be awful to the public.

Spending a couple of days at the cleve again the wife is having sum treatments to day, as always the room is lovely and all the staff are very helpful and friendly would highly recommend this hotel been coming here for a few years and will keep coming back.

So relaxing, massage left me feeling amazing would definitely recommend lovely staff and atmosphere loved using the pool and jacuzzi.

My three friends and I had the most amazing time, the staff accommodated all our requirements, no question and they were so attentive, every member off staff smiled and were welcoming, the massage was just the best, there was so many different areas to chill and the spa was superb, I can honestly say it's one of the best places I've stayed by far and would definitely drive the 1 and 1/2 hour to go there again.

We have just come home after a overnight stay at The Cleeve Hotel. The food was amazing the hotel spacious with plenty of places to relax. The spa treatment fabulous too. The hotel staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend The Cleeve hope to visit again soon.

We have just arrived home after visiting the Cleve Hotel & Spa for the weekend. Every part of the weekend was great from arrival to departure. The Spa and treatments were amazing. The hotel room was lovely and spacious and very clean. The reception staff were really welcoming and Helpful. The food in the restaurant was out of this world and the service was excellent at the bar & from the waiting staff. I would highly recommend The Cleve Hotel & Spa.

Been here 3 times, each time for a hen party! Lovely surroundings, gorgeous food and luxurious spa.

As a surprise my partner booked us here for the night and a spa package. The afternoon tea was delicious; my partner enjoyed this and he doesn't even like scones. The dinner meal was well cooked, well presented and tasted good. The room was stunning. The breakfast in the coffee house was very enjoyable, nice layout and look. Everywhere was clean. We shall be back, and I can't wait. Thank you.

My husband booked us a lovely Spa break here as an Anniversary surprise. The staff are lovely, very friendly and only happy to help. The hotel is a lovely old building, with a fabulous large garden. We enjoyed a relaxing spa treatment and use of the pool, jacuzzi and steam room, followed by a lovely afternoon cream tea with scones, cream and jam with fresh strawberries and raspberries and glass of Prosecco each. Followed by a few gin cocktails under the gazebo in the sun. We later enjoyed a delicious 2 course meal with wine in the restaurant. This was all included in the price of the break. Our room was very nice and we had a lovely view of the garden, well equipped with complimentary tea/coffee and a bottle of water. All in all a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. A great place to stay, relax and unwind. Their evening meals were fantastic! We stayed on a weekend however and the pool/steam room/jacuzzi area closes at 6pm, but is open later during the week.

Beautiful place. Had a fabulous lunch but evening meal was a little bland. Staff excellent and service very good.

Perfect couples night away. Stayed in one of the cosy rooms. Fab for a night of 2. Everything you need. Spa good, a little tired and better signage needed. Didn't eat here but walked the 15 mins to the centre of Wellington to tamarind Bay. Amazing. Breakfast great. Buffet service with made to order eggs and pastries. Will be staging again.

Nice little country hotel. I went for a spa day and it had everything I wanted: pool, sauna, jacuzzi, usual selection of treatments, decent gym. The setting is very nice, ranging from some gardens that you can sit out in to a bright upstairs lounge to a couple of cozy snugs.

We stayed here one night and had a really nice and relaxing stay. The room was amazing! So big and alot nicer than in the photos, and very well equiped. We also had a lovely countryside view. The restaurant FOOD was AMAZING! The prices were average to high but worth every penny! Seriously good food. Staff were friendly and service good. However the spa is overrated. The pool and hot tub are small, the sauna wasn't working and the steam room good but very basic decor. The whole spa area needs a good maeover. I've still given it 5 stars though. I also had a price query when paying and they sorted it out without any problems which was fab.

A lovely relaxing atmosphere with very approachable friendly staff who go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I wouldn't say it a cheap place to stay but you do get what you pay for. Food is delicious with a small menu but they do cater for people with different eating habits (just ask a member of staff). I didn't use the gym but the equipment is in good condition. The swimming pool is an adequate size so managed a few lengths and the Jacuzzi was lovely, also has a steam room and sauna. Our room was adequate in size with ensuite and shower, and I must say the cleaning staff do a wonderful job every day. A very enjoyable experience which we will be doing again.

We have had a fabulous stay. We had a friendly greeting on arrival and sttled down to a fabulous cream tea. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool and relaxation rooms and can highly recomend a back and shoulder massage. I woudl return just for this alone. We had a two course dinner wchich was very tasty and filling. Great breakfast, pretty bedrommand lovely views. Overall very relaxing. Highly recommend.

I came to the spa day with my daughter and granddaughter, it was a Christmas present that we have just all managed to plan. The welcome was brilliant, such friendly and delightful staff arrived with a glass of orange juice while we filled out our information forms. It was a glorious sunny day to sit in the gardens and relax. Two of us started in the pool area using the pool and jacuzzi.
The actual treatments Bliss I think it was called was awesome, felt extremely relaxed after and just ready for the lunch platter. After which we just relaxing in one of the rooms. When we had all had our treatments we sat in the garden and later enjoyed a wonderful afternoon cream tea. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will hopefully be back for more.

I didn't like the fact that this crap came on my phone It's that good locals don't use it Why do you think that is.

The gym and pool are underused but we'll equipped. Staff are lovely.

I was stranded here last night due to bad weather. Luckily there was a room for me which was absolutely lovely! In the morning I had some delicious cooked breakfast and was looked after very well until the AA came to collect me. Thank you guys, you were exceptional!

Lovely relaxing areas and treatment rooms. The food is wonderful and the pool warm. Was impressed at the amount of gym equipment, although did not use much of it myself. Very laid back atmosphere and lovely decor. Just what you expect from a spa :)

Awesome halfway house between north England to south England or vice versa, chilled vibes good food nice village close by with wetherspoons, has a gym and pool also for a stress relief!

I would highly recommend this hotel and spa. Such a wonderfully relaxing place with a great spa and gym area and lots of areas to relax in. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I felt really looked after. I had a great treatment and the food was just awesome: so fresh and delicious! Thank you for a great stay and I really hope to come back in the not too distant future! X.

The spa was a suitable price but the pool was heavily treated with chemicals and the sauna was both small and not as hot as I would have liked.

Very nice rooms limited chice of food but very nice.

Lovely hotel but disappointing the GYN and spa closes at 6pm on Saturday so I wasn't able to use it the evening I arrived.

Attended for a work event. Reasonable facilities. Good catering.

Myself & a group of friends came for a ladies day & we had a wonderful time from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful & made us feel so welcome. The treatments were amazing & they even upgraded my facial as a complimentary gift. Thank you so much for helping to make my birthday so special & relaxing. As a beauty therapist myself it was so lovely to be on the receiving end for a change! The staff were very talented & professional & I highly recommend x.

Very bad hotel. Only good thing is the reception staff. Hasnt had a penny spent on it in 30 years. Rooms very tired, bathroom from 80's. Not even a hook to hang a towel from. Generally would recommend the premier inn over this.
