Beautiful afternoon celebrating my daughter/son-in-law to be’s “non wedding day”

Went to the christmas artisan fayre in december
lovely atmospherelits of lovely things to buy and staff so friendly and helpful.
all the stallholders want to return and do two days this year
perfect setting.

This is a Fantastic venue. Full of beautiful art and loads of history. Staff are brilliant and remarkably helpful. Food is superb and it even has Peacocks walking around. 10/10.

Stunning venue with top class accommodation. We stayed in one of the cottages called Barn Owl and our room was out of this world, 10/10 and with the biggest and poshest bathroom I have ever seen! The staff are all super friendly too and there is an amazing bar in the main house with a great choice of local gins, beers and ciders. The house has beautiful gardens and a 100 acre park with walks around the lake. Most of all the atmosphere is just great, so laid back and such nice people. You get the feeling all the staff really love working there which says a lot. Sir Ben himself appeared one day and gave us a conducted tour of the antiquities in the house which was really interesting too, he is a hilarious host with a wicked sense of humour. We cannot recommend this wonderful and quite unique place enough for anyone looking for a chilled weekend away. Definitely coming back, might decide to get married here too!

I would recommend everything about Maunsel house the house itself is beautiful they are so accommodating and all the staff are so helpful and lovely. It's a wonderful magical place. Our best friends got married here in September and everything was perfect.

Can’t stop smiling and can’t say enough about how wonderful Maunsel House is! The house and gardens are stunning, the food was delicious but most of all — the team there are absolutely amazing. So flexible, friendly, professional and relaxed, and really made our day so special. Wedding in the garden was beyond perfect but we really liked that the indoor ceremony room was bright and beautiful if it did rain. Had the best time at Maunsel House we stayed in one of their sweet B B cottages Cedar, it was so beautiful and the house itself is truly amazing, the breakfast was superb, Pauline couldn’t have been more helpful, highly recommended by us!

My daughter and son in law held their wedding at Maunsel House on 20th July. The setting is stunning, the staff are amazing, they skilfully attended to every detail, without being obvious. A real family atmosphere, thank you!

Had our wedding at Maunsel House this weekend and the venue and staff could not have been better. Nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile to ensure the day was perfect. The setting is beautiful and the house is one of the most fascinating and interesting places around. I would 100% recommend this venue to any couple considering it as a venue for their big day.

The house is like a working museum, but in this place you actually encouraged to touch the exhibits. It's a fascinating place with so much to see. Rooms are all individual and in the main house all have original features. Staff are very and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lots of quirky things to see in the main building. Ask for a tour if you can it's well worth it. Breakfast is fab so make time to enjoy it as there is lots to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit and I for one will call again.

Fantastic eclectic venue. The wedding we attended was spealctacular the staff were extremely helpful with any requests, even in the run up we had numerous pre visits for planning and they were great.

Maunsel House was our fabulous wedding venue for our 2017 winter wedding.
We cannot thank the staff of Maunsel House and especially Emma our wonderful wedding planner for everything they did to make our day even more perfect that we could ever have imagined.

Very interesting, and eccentric place. The hospitality staff were excellent, as was the food.

Lovely grounds and plenty to do for anyone looking for an escape to the country. Very unique decor with lots of interesting things to look at around the house. The staff were very helpful, polite and really helped to settle everyone in. The bar staff were friendly and easy to talk to, even remembered what drinks people were having. Would highly recommend.

Grand stately house in its own grounds. 'Packed to the rafters' with artifacts and history, it can be overwhelming, but if you are into stately homes it's fine.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to Emma and all of the staff at Maunsel House for the most wonderful wedding day. The whole team were so professional, bringing experience, wisdom and guidance throughout the planning and organisation of our wedding. They made it a really personal, easy and enjoyable experience. Emma went above and beyond to ensure individual details special to us were made possible (including the attendance of a Labrador) … Nothing was too much trouble. We had the best day of our lives, and team at Maunsel made it possible for us to relax, have fun and enjoy ourselves, knowing they had it all sorted. Our guests had so much fun exploring Maunsel and absolutely loved our venue — they are still raving about the party! We’re truly delighted we chose to hold our wedding at Maunsel and it was an absolute pleasure to share our big day with them. We cannot thank the staff at Maunsel House or recommend the venue highly enough.

We love this venue. The bar, if you don't know, is totally unique. I won't spoil it. The house is full of quirky treasures from top to bottom. Food is always good. Staff are always friendly and helpful. We see a lot of wedding venues and Manuel House definitely has a homely feel unlike the more branded/corporate venues. No noise limiter, last time we looked, which is important if you are booking a band. Plenty of parking for guests and lots of exploring for the intrigued! We would recommend Manuel house to anyone that is looking for a wedding/function venue.

Such a great place for a gorgeous cosy wedding or party! Would recommend to anyone! We had the best wedding there and have been guests at a knock out party aswell!

We are definitely going to visit the venue for their afternoon tea dates asap. It's an amazing place and the staff were lovely and so so so helpful even dealing with a stressful bridezilla. Definitely a place to go even for a visit.
