Thank you to Kat and her team for the most amazing wedding at the Walton park on 5/9/2021. The attention to detail was much appreciated and all our guests were impressed by the location and stunning surroundings. We would definitely recommend anyone who wants something a bit unique to get married there. The outdoor ceremony using the gazebo was amazing and the wedding menu was very good too. All the guests said it was one of the best weddings they had attended.

We got married at this beautiful classic hotel, last Friday. We have been planning it for some time, through lockdowns, etc — and through it all, Kat, our wedding coordinator was so helpful and understanding, tailoring everything to our needs and wishes. The staff on the actual day were amazing also, making the day flow seamlessly, settling us down and making our guests feel welcome also. Special mention to Chris the master of ceremonies, who organised the late afternoon so well. And Marie the general manager, who did so much also. The venue itself was beautiful, in a stunning location on the north Somerset coast, overlooking the Bristol Channel and Wales in the distance. Even on a cloudy October day, it still looked resplendent. The rooms were comfy and well equipped, and even staying there as an everyday hotel guest would have been a nice experience. There is a bar overlooking the sea, with ample seating and drinks choices, and good food options as well. Cannot fault this hotel and its staff, our experience there was wonderful. I look forward to staying again in the future, visting the place where we had such an amazing time.

Great views across the Bristol channel and the rooms are very generous in size, we had a huge four poster bed.
Food was outstanding.

Just spent two nights at Walton park. The room was not ready when we arrived at 3pm. Had to wait in the bar for 2 hours. We were given a free drink. Eventually got to our room. It was very clean. Decor was good. However it was an incredibly hot room. They did loan us a fan though. The bathroom was the tiniest I’ve ever seen. We are both very tall so many cries of ouch. Evening meal was lovely. Bed was comfy. Breakfast delicious even though the order was wrong on both mornings. I would recommend it to others. I would definitely stay again, but in a different room.

I had my wedding at Walton park hotel at the weekend and it was wonderful. All the staff were so helpful, our guests were very complimentary of the hotel and the staff. They made our big day absolutely perfect!

The views. The hardworking staff, especially the lady in the bar, who got every order spot on (not something we've found in most of Clevedon). Dinner not so fab. Overdone squash and overboiled tinned spuds. Waiter was great!

We got married here on the 10th October, and had the best day.
The team within the Walton Park are incredible. Nothing is too much for them. They made our day amazing and we can not thank them enough for everything they have done for us.
We want to say a massive thank you to Kat and Marie who went above and beyond for us to ensure our day was as special as I could have been during Covid.
This hotel is an incredible wedding venue with amazing views and great ceremony/reception rooms. It was dressed perfectly. The food was delicious and more than enough. Thank you all so much!

We were given a room that hadn’t been cleaned since the last occupant. Completely unacceptable. We were then told to wait for them to clean it which would not have been enough time for it to be deep cleaned. Then we were given an alternative that had a very uncomfortable bed and was definitely a downgrade from the room I had booked. I would not recommend staying here at all during coronavirus times. There are many cheaper safer alternatives.

We had our wedding here 14.02.2020, the staff were all incredibly helpful through out the whole process. Nothing was to much trouble for them. The day ran so smoothly thanks to their guidance and help. The food was lovely and decent portions. The hotel rooms were a great size, all cleaned to a high standard.
Thank you for everyone help to make our day perfect.

We had our wedding day here on 10th February 2020 at midday from the ultimate wedding package for 2020.
we had amazing day from start to finish. Wonderful place, wonderful surroundings, amazing views and out of this world scenery of the Bristol channel.
The hotel in our eye should be a 5 star. As the staff very amazing, helpful, courteous, couldn't do enough for us.
Disco great section of hits and requests taken.
Toilets clean and tidy, rooms wow so much room to move around in. Food was out of this world and all our friends and family said it gorgeous.
Can't thank all the staff that where on duty on the 10th & 11th February enough.
If you need a great venue for a wedding well this is it.

We had the pleasure of providing our Open Photo Booth at Best Western Walton Park Hotel last night for the wedding of Clarissa and Barry. The first thing to say is that all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The set up for the wedding reception was perfect and the views from the balcony are stunning! What a fantastic 2 days spent at the Best Western Walton Park Hotel for my daughters wedding nothing but praise, beautiful rooms, service and a picturesque setting, would 100 percent recommend this hotel, a very big thank you to all concerned at this lovely establishment. Well done.

And fab view comfy beds and very clean and food nice but it's very tired carpets awful needs decorating and lift broken.

The room was very nice and cozy and the staff are very friendly also was a reasonable price and a lovely view.

Fantastic venue for weddings. We had our wedding here on 22/6/19 and it was brilliant in every way not one detail was missed staff were friendly and very helpful to our every need would highly recommend. Interior is beautiful and looking to come bk for one year anniversary as we loved it so much. Well done to wedding co ordinters and management and all staff involved wonderful day especially being able to have our ceremony outside by the sea views were spectacular We would give 5 stars. My 80th birthday lunch, the room, the choice of menu, excellent food, wonderful service, and our overnight stay and being able to bring our elderly dog with us, thank you.

The building itself is beautiful but it needs a lot of work. I’m sure there are lovely rooms but we were put in a large room in the basement that housed all the services areas and it was in bits! The room was clean, bed was very comfy and the view was nice but it wasn’t as special as we had hoped it would be from the images and descriptions. Breakfast was fine. Staff were pleasant but not particularly engaging. I’m sure as a wedding hotel it’s great but it wasn’t the special olde school charm we had hoped for to start our holiday. Clevedon is lovely but super quiet and everything closes at 11am.

We had our wedding here on 31/03/2018. We had the most fabulous day, we can't fault the hotel on anything. From the first meeting to book the wedding and each step of the way they made us feel happy that they would take care of everything so we didn't have to worry and that is exactly what they did. I stayed for the whole weekend and found all staff to be friendly and helpful, all our guests commented on how lovely the sit down meal was and the evening buffet. I was blown away by how beautiful the staff had done the reception room I wouldn't have changed a thing. Quite a few guest stayed at the hotel and all said their rooms were lovely and myself and my Husband loved our Bridal suit, waking up to that amazing view the next day was so relaxing! Me and my husband will be returning to celebrate our 1st anniversary. Love Mr & Mrs Kennedy x.

Room was amazing for a family room for 5 people! Loads of space considering a super king (2beds pushed together) a single bed and 2 folding beds. Food was amazing, as well as the view, only downfall there was loads of dogs in the hotel (I'm a animal lover) but one room had 2-3 dogs that wouldn't stop barking throughout the night. Other than that I would recommend.

We had our wedding here on August 25th, and it was just the most magical day… it was perfect.
From the very beginning, Pat, Marie and Sam were so helpful and nothing was a problem. The planning was made so easy as Pat and her team were very efficient and made sure that we were happy throughout.
When it came to the day, well what can I say… it most definitely exceeded our expectations, it was the best day of our lives.
Firstly, the view… you cannot beat it. All of our guests were blown away by the location. The ceremony room and wedding breakfast room etc were decorated beautifully. All of our decorations and flowers were placed just how we wanted. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a mix of meat eaters, vegetarians, Gluten Free and vegan guests and every single person thoroughly enjoyed their food, the choice was fantastic and presented beautifully. The waiters and waitresses were also fab.
The evening buffet was also delicious and again exceeded our expectations, as well as our guests. Again, all of our guests needs were catered for. Perfect. We had the resident DJ, and had not met him prior to the wedding. He arrived early and introduced himself, asked us what music we liked and was excellent. The DJ booth looked fantastic and the dance floor was full all night. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel and we were offered 25 rooms at a reduced rate of £35 per person including breakfast, fantastic value.

First room was run down but got moved to another. Unsteady flooring and holes in the floor meant my mother got her heel caught inside a hole which caused her to fall over. However, staff were very pleasant and charming, but the overall the hotel seemed too empty for it's size, felt rather lost in there at times and it was scattered with unnecessary furniture in the hallways, eg: what appeared to be school desks and wardrobes. In need of some TLC all round.

The best western walton park hotel is absolutely fantastic staff are all friendly and the hotel itself is stunning inside and out simply cannot wait to have our wedding there next year.

Nice location and views of the sea but it ends there! Very dated decor, keys to get into room in this day and age… Full of doggies keeping you wake. Wash basin without a mixer, shower without a thermostatic mixer… Couldn't even take a proper shower as the water either pipping hot or ice cold… Nothing in between… Would not recommend!

Attended a wedding evening reception. The ploughmans provided was average and the bar and training of the barstaff was poor nkt to mention expensive. Nearly £6 for a small glass of house white and a half pint of flat pepsi from a 2l bottle.
