A very warm welcome from the owner, gated access, fields, greenery, large gardens and seating. Fridge in dining area to cool a beer.

A very lovely clean hotel. Rebecca welcomed us into the hotel she was very talkative, happy, lovely, she was such a lovely women, me nd partner would definitely come back to this hotelThe bedrooms are perfect size and the shower was absolutely fabulousAnd The beds are really comfy to sleep inloved it herebreakfast was absolutely perfect.

Lovely friendly people, delightful to work for, can't wait to catch up next year.

Amazing place, relax and do nothing, home from home! Rebecca is so
welcoming, makes you feel so special. Everything you need is there, they
gone the extra mile to make it like home. Beds so comfortable, rooms
immaculate, great food, can’t praise the service enough. Chickens, cats
and ponies in the fields lovely views.
Can’t wait to come back again!

Had a lovely weekend here. Food is always good, Rebecca is friendly and chatty and the whole place is just so relaxing. Will definately return soon.

Stunningly beautiful — the pictures don't do it justice. Lovely friendly and kind owners. It was fun to meet the cats and the horses and the chickens! The rooms are gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was amazing too. I can't rate this place highly enough.

Absolutely lovely house. Our room & en-suite are beautiful clean, well appointed with a lovely little sitting area overlooking the countryside. Binoculars & book of birds is also provided!
The breakfast is lovely & nothing is too much trouble for our host Rebecca. A lovely location to get away from it all for a few days!
Some lovely pubs locally for food; The Bull & Dog up the road & The Dickin a short drive away.

Rebecca and Phil were brilliant hosts, we were made to feel welcome and at home! They looked after us so well.
The cats, chickens and ponies were a lovely added extra!

Outstanding service and location. A must go.

We stayed only for 1 night as we were at a wedding nearby and I found the Moorhead only by luck. We were made to feel welcome the moment we arrived Rebecca is definitely in the right business so warm and welcoming and nothing was to much a lovely person wished we could of chatted for longer. The place itself is beautiful so homely and picturesque the bed was sooooo comfortable and the view from our room was just lovely. There was nothing we needed everything has been thought of to make your stay here enjoyable and to top it off the full English breakfast was superb. Realy can't say enough except we will be back 10 out of 10.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Rebecca made us feel like friends from the moment we arrived; the animals pottering about were delightful, and the room/view was beautiful. Unfortunately we had to leave at 5.30am so didn't get to sample the cooked breakfast, but that just means we'll have to go back!

What an amazing place to stay. My business partner and I stayed here and what a great decision. The journey along the private drive into the country instantly made us feel special and on arrival we were not disappointed. Greeted by the hostess with the mostest, Rebecca, we were welcomed like members of the family, Rebeccas heart warming welcome and the fragrance of the entrance hall confirmed we had made the right decision. Initially we were only able to book one room but on arrival I asked if there was another room available, there was and Rebecca was more than happy to rearrange and rent me the room. The accommodation is beautiful, all 3 rooms are presented to an exceptionally high standard, all en-suite with sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. The bed, ooooohhhhh the bed, I could have stayed in that bed all day. No expense has been spared to make the stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible. The breakfast was spot on every day (thank you Phil) and made better by the fact that the resident hens lay double yolker eggs. There is a wonderful continental selection and the view from the dining room is sublime, ponies, chickens and cows in the distance. Best of all though are definitely the hosts. Nowhere else have I found such an attentive, kind and thoughtful pair. Even when the requests are a bit obscure they do their very best to give you what you need. Top Marks Phil and Rebecca. We've just returned from a very relaxing weekend visit with Rebecca and Phil. Was a superb stay from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Very comfortable bed in a large en-suite room with fantastic views of the countryside. The breakfast was fantastic, plenty of it and the scrambled eggs were to die for. Would not hesitate to recommend and we will certainly return when in the area. Thanks again Rebecca and Phil xx.

As other reviews have pointed out, this is an amazing place to stay at. The house and rooms are much better than the pictures, breakfast was great and the hosts are amazing. Definitely recommend!

My parents stayed a couple of times at the Moorhead before and had wonderful things to say about it especially the owners, Rebecca and Phil. Fortunately, a room was available the same weekend myself and my partner went to visit my grandparents in Wem. Our stay at The Moorhead was exceptional. The house itself is charming and homely, the fields which surround the property are beautiful and are even home to ponies, cows and chickens. The room we stayed in was a very good size with a comfortable bed and stunning view from the bay window. The room was exceptionally clean and obviously very well taken care of by the owners. Our stay was made even more enjoyable by Rebecca, who owns the Moorhead with her partner. She made us feel so welcome and at home during our stay. You could not ask for a more wonderful host. On the morning of our departure we were served a delicious full English breakfast with lots of cereal, fruit and pastries to choose from. By the time we had to say our goodbye, we simply did not want to leave this wonderful B&B owned and run by such a lovely couple. Overall, our stay at the Moorhead was perfect and I cannot recommend it enough. We cannot wait to return!

One of the nicest places I have stayed, Rebecca and Phil are without a doubt the best hosts and make sure everyone feels welcome. They accommodate everyone's needs and make sure kiddies are provided for! The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast has to be the best I've ever had, the setting is idyllic and I would recommend to anyone! We have had the best night away and we especially loved grooming the ponies and collecting eggs from the chickens. Big thankyou to Rebecca and Phil.

Simple and effective accommodation however Rebecca and Phil are fantastic hosts and made it a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend this lovely B&B enough. We stayed here as a bridal party prior to my brothers wedding. On arrival and throughout our stay, both the night before and the night of the wedding, Becky made us all feel incredibly welcome, constantly ensuring we had enough food and drink and were making ourselves at home.
Everything about this place is fantastic, the beds are very comfortable, the atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming and breakfast is very tasty.

Moorhead B&B is a great place to stay situated well away from the road so no noise. There are 3 rooms furnished to a very high standard. I have stayed twice and love it here. It is so relaxing and very well run.

Environment to say the least magnificent, immersed in a country context to say the least, excellent structure with all the comforts. Very friendly and helpful staff. A must for a weekend or more of healthy relaxation.
