Wonderful location, wonderful accommodation, wonderful hosts and wonderful breakfasts!

We have had an amazing stay at The School House Claire and Dave were so welcoming. The room was beautiful and clean with attention paid to special touches like really nice coffee, an emergency bag incase we had forgotten anything as well as treats including fresh milk, jelly babies and a delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake. We took our dog and there was even a special basket for her including a ball, towel and biscuits. She loved them. Breakfast was delicious with homemade granola, and bread. We would throughly reccomend this bed and breakfast and will definately go back again. Thank you both so much. X.

We stayed at The School House from September 15th to 20th. The rooms were spotless, the facilities excellent, particularly the map room. The village was quiet and the local places to eat were very good. Clare & David were delightful hosts — very friendly and full of helpful information. Breakfast was delicious with lots of home made (by Clare) ingredients. Would we stay there again? You bet we would!

Had an amazing 2 days here. Lovely little touches in the room even bubble bath fur a luxurious soak. Homemade treats lemon drizzle cake in the room, homemade granola, sausage, bread & preserves at breakfast time. Fresh milk & water in the fridge. We ordered a bedroom picnic which was delicious. Claire & Dave were the best hosts so very friendly & helpful.

Gorgeous stay at this lovely place. Cosy rooms, comfortable beds, lovely food and a warm welcome. Great shower and loads of extras to make you feel at home. Nothing is too much trouble. Peaceful spot with lovely views. Our second visit which says it all 😊😊

The School House B&B is a delightful accommodation. The spacious rooms are tastefully furnished with amazing attention to detail. There is even a map room where local places of interest and local walks are detailed. The breakfasts are delicious with most of the food being locally sourced and home cooked
Clare and David are splendid hosts and help with planning exciting activities.
I look forward to visiting again.

Lovely stay at The School House. Our large and very comfortable room had everything we needed, including treats, a comfortable bed, bathrobes and a smart bathroom with toiletries provided. The room had great views of the Shropshire Hills. The locally sourced breakfast was very tasty and everything was spotlessly clean. We stayed in the dog-friendly room which had its own entrance, perfect. Highly recommended and with great attention to detail. Thank you, Clare and David.

My husband and I spent the weekend in Shropshire in order for me to take the wonderful B&B course at Hopton House. Clare was most welcoming, and has set up a beautiful B&B, comfy beds, amaZing views and an extremely yummy breakfast, complete with home made vegi sausages. I was so impressed by all the little personal touches — not only did I take notes but also Clare was very kind in answering my many (many) questions in regards to life as a B&B host. A lovely stay and I would highly recommend The School House B&B for anyone wanting the ideal place to stay in Shropshire. Thanks again Clare, once I am up and running please pop up to Yorkshire for me to return the favor x.

Arrived at the School house after driving through the beautiful country side of Shropshire, the hosts were brilliant, very helpful and catered to our every Need. The room we were staying in was very clean and presented nicely, the room had so much character, wooden beams and all, the bed was very comfortable and the bath was big enough for two. Razors, toothbrush, tea, coffee, flapjack, bubble bath and bottled water all complimentary. Breakfast was nice too, we had home made vegetable sausage, very impressed.

The perfect B&B, location, facilities, comforts and especially the owners. I have stayed in hundreds of accommodations across the world ranging from boutique hotels to hostels and this is easily in the upper echelons of my experiences. Bravo, I will be back. Please book through their website and not through booking websites if possible as it takes away from the owners. Cheers guys, Jason.

Had a wonderful weekend away there. The whole thing just couldn't have been better. Our hosts, Claire and Dave have managed to get things just right, a jar of homemade flapjack, a jar of jelly babies and a jar of dog biscuits for my dog. The room was spacious and very, very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and set me up for the whole day. They also manage to have just the right combination of being interested and helpful without being intrusive. I would recommend staying there to anyone who wants a bit of peace and quiet in a beautiful setting.

A warm and welcoming retreat located in the lovely Shropshire countryside. Everything you could ask for — comfy beds, peaceful location, super breakfast and welcome room touches such as homemade flapjack! Great base for exploring the local area and my personal favourite — a day out in Ludlow. Highly recommended.

What a warm welcome from Clare & Dave. Spent a couple of nights in this gorgeous B&B where attention to detail is everything. From the comfy beds to the homemade flapjack to the most awesome shower, everything is geared towards making your stay at the School House a most wonderful experience, and that's without mentioning the delicious breakfasts and lovely views! Definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway and will definitely be returning.

My husband and I stayed here this week and had a really fantastic stay. The Old School House it a beautiful property and has been refurbished to such a high standard. The bed is enormous, I just melted into the pillows, the bathroom is luxurious with separate shampoo and conditioner so no need to take your own, and the breakfast delicious. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying at this amazing B&B again to explore a little more this lovely area of the country.

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning location. If you can drag yourself out of the super-comfy bed and then out of the type of shower you want to spend hours in, there are loads of walks to explore in the surrounding countryside. Don't worry — the full cooked breakfast will give you the energy to climb the hills!
