Clean room. Staff friendly. We requested a quiet room and we got one. Breakfast good. This is value for money for a budget hotel. Bar prices reasonable and local parking easy.

Reasonable priced room which was clean in central Northampton. The shower was hot. No bath. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Parking is extra. We paid £5 for parking in a little car park down the side of The Ibis Hotel. That was for overnight. Staff were friendly & helpful. It has a bar. Breakfast is extra.

Have spent many nights here when in Northampton for business. Odd numbered rooms face inwards, even face the road so if you have a preference you can request. Rooms are reasonable for an Ibis, there's onsite parking in the multi-storey which is actually quite tight if you have a large vehicle, but it's cheaper and more spacious to park in the surface car park at the back of the hotel. The staff are mostly great, Vincent does an excellent job and needs a pay rise and/or promotion. * *not related to Vincent or an employee of Accor, have just received exceptional service from this chap and he deserves recognition.

Really good place. Clean spacious rooms at a cheap price. The late leave option is till 5pm (for only a tenner! ) too so you don't have to worry about not getting your sleep if you have been out partying all night.

Stayed a few times at hotel Ibis Northampton, staff have been helpful, clean rooms but depending where abouts your room is you maybe to hear a nightclub close by that's on the main road.

When I arrived, it was very cold in the room. The wall radiator was not working. I went to the front desk, which handed me a portable radiator. I would have liked it to install it themselves in the room…

It has improved in comparison to a few year back. However the check in was quite basic, the was a huge disturbance outside my room at 1:45am with no staffing control, a staff member knocked on my door at 8am to ask what time I will check out, when I did check out and requested the bill (as told to do so at check in) I was told they have to email it when they actually print it there and then.

No frills accommodation convenient for the centre of town. Parking adjacent in Sol Central (costs extra) so a good place to stop after a night out.

In a good location, and parking ok, but can get a bit out of hand on Friday and Saturday nights. We had some unsavoury types running around drunk and making noise in the corridor half the night. More security needed I think.

Honest, simple accommodation. Staff pleasant. Decor a bit tired. Perfect for a short budget stay. I enjoyed the breakfast.

Well placed hotel in town centre. Parking is back of hotel in public car park: £2.50 overnight fee. Room is basic but rate is cheap so can't complain.

Location The staff was very helpful English Breakfast.

The rooms are good beds are comfortable. My only complaint was the breakfast. The bacon and sausages were cremated and definitely not worth the £8.50 for the breakfast buffet.

Hotel. It was a moment to find out rates. Good care.

There was no bin in the room which was inconvenient and we only had one extra pillow between two of us. Other than that the room was nice, no issues.

Booked a double bed room and 1 sofa bed but because we never added that it was 2 adults and 1 child they never provided a sofa bed. Not did they have one available to give us. Apart from that little mix up, the 2 night stay was fine.

Great location to the centre and friendly staff. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable enough. Only let down was the lack of parking.

The hotel heating is not great and it is quite cold in the winter. However it is quiet and the internet speed is good.

A good stay overall. The room was very large, but I found the bed too soft. The breakfast was… ordinary for the £8.50 They charged, and they tried to charge me AGAIN in the morning! If they were better organised, I might have pushed the score up to 5.

Great room, easy check in and super cheap. Close to the train station. Comfortable beds and clean. Took one star off because there is no air conditioning which I like to have.

One night stay and found this excellent value for money. Clean and good sized room. Bathroom was large with a good shower. Staff professional and friendly. Central location and parking £5 per day. Overall, a good stay.

After driving around in circles to find the non existent car park, we where directed to an expensive public multi storey attached to the side of the hotel, Check in was easy, The small room of absolutely no frills was stuffy. The extractor fan didn't work in the dirty shower room, When we returned about 11.30 pm to have a night cap at the bar we was greeted by loud drunks in and out of the lobby, security was checking thier names but did nothing to stop them. The bed linen was dirty and stained and the mattress under the topper was covered in hair. We were woken up a few times by loud guests running up and down the corridor singing at the top of thier voices, Was glad to check out and come home.

Pretty much exactly what you expect from an Ibis. Clean with polite staff and few surprises. It would be good if the swipe card in the lift was more reliable. Some people really struggle with it.

I had gone there with my friends and to the cinema it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The staff were good and it was very comfortable. I hadn't been in any of the rooms however.

A hotel chain with problems! Stayed at the Northampton Ibis hotel this week. It appears they have implemented some kind of money saving scheme. Staff uniforms swapped for red scruffy T-shirts containing the logo "Check in with me" is that some kind of innuendo? Struggled to find a seat at breakfast amongst the mountain of used trays of cutlery. The hard to catch girl on check out appeared to be using her a mobile phone as the hotel computer system! Still waiting for VAT receipt that I was promised by email as they apparently no longer print them out. I would suggest if you want to book in, don't try and ring the hotel as the phones seem to be on the blink, go through expedia its quicker. What going on guys!?

Great service from friendly staff. Room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. Only comment, having two identical key cards, one of which works the lift is a bit confusing. Only a minor point. Overall highly recommended.

Our first visit to Northampton town, and we could not have chosen a better hotel than this, customer service is fantastic at this hotel, rooms are clean and very comfortable, car parking is so easy and very cost effective, the restaurant at the hotel serves really nice well cooked food, there is also a full bar to choose the beverages from. Overall it's a family friendly hotel. We will be back here on our next holiday for sure.

The rooms are very clean and the room is very good. Central, because facing GOLD Street and in a few minutes you are at the center of shopping streets and cultural district. Good value for money.

Good parking here, £5.50 for 24 hours and you can walk right into the hotel from the car park. Service was good, and the bar is actually pretty nice, serving a small selection of decent food and alcohol until midnight. Weirdly, the lifts were really tough to get working — took several tries and clearly foxed a lot of people. The room was a good size, although it seems not all had been refurbished — ask for a refurbished room is my tip. A fine place for overnight, no frills.

Awful. I asked receiption for a wake up call which they didn't provide. Which resulted in me not arriving to work and losing out on being paid. at 06:30 there was continuous banging which kept me awake.

Spacious room, good wi fi connection, near to all amenities.

It was fine. Clean room, comfy bed, good Wi-Fi. The room was a bit cold as there was only a small heater there. Wouldn't have a problem staying again.

Great location at a good price. Windows facing the road should be improved, but apart from that no issues. Staff are friendly and check-in and out was fine.

I could not sleep due to the gym. All I could hear was gym music and someone running on a treadmill all night long. Staff are rude also too much attitude for my liking. Definitely won't be wasting money there again.

Pretty central. Just had the one night. Thought it might be noisy as it is part of the Sol Centre complex but didn't hear anything. Rooms a bit spartan but clean. Easy carpark access to hotel. Needed to be away so didn't try the breakfast. Perhaps cost more than expected but it was a last minute booking.

Budget hotel, you can feel the savings. But the price is decent and it's central and near the railway station. If you need an ironing board, they have a communal one in the hallway on each floor. Bring disinfectant if using it.

On going into hotel front desk I was greeted by a very rude polish girl it was even to much for to even talk to me got spoken to like I was wasting her time even breathing within her space and when I asked how she spelt her surname she stood there with attiude and looking ate like I was something off bottom off her shoe that has put me off even going anywhere near the place it makes u wonder what rest of staff r like really discussed.

The expensive Wi-Fi service provided by Orange is unusable at peak periods.

Easy to find, Budget hotel great value for money. Spa, Sauna Steam room and pool were great. Only downside was the tiny harder in the room that kept cutting out. Other than that twas very comfortable :-) 9/10.

The hotel was easy to get to. The room was of a lower quality than I was expecting, considering that it was more expensive than some other budget hotels in the area (that have better rooms) I returned to the hotel around midnight and had a problem ordering food from the restaurant. It took the staff two attempts and nearly an hour to serve me a BLT sandwich, I was given chicken pasta and then a bacon and mustard baguette, which I ended up eating because I was hungry and tired. I also was short changed and had difficultly getting my money back. I was unable to check out properly as only one member of staff was on the front desk in the morning although several were in the lobby. I had to put my keycard on the front desk and leave. I have written a letter of complaint to the manager. I was not impressed, I have stayed in Ibis hotels before and have never had problems like this. It is very unlikely that I will stay here again.
