Nice staff, great food even with a restricted menu.

Our room had a stunning sea view and a large comfy bed. Everything in the room was clean, fresh and well decorated. The staff were all friendly and helpful. A very good breakfast too. We would definitely come again.

Visited at the weekend. Felt secure with the new protocols. Would visit again. Had meal inside and drink outside yesterday.

Went in for a family lunch yesterday and the food was lovely… Went for the two courses for £12.95 menu and the meals were very tasty, good size portions and great value… Will definitely be back for more! Thankyou x.

Popped in for a bite to eat on new year's day and although they were very busy the service was excellent.

I stayed here 4 nights to do my training for a new job. The service I received by both owner and bar staff was amazing! Clean and tidy room, outstanding food. I couldn’t put a single fault to the place or the people.
Christmas decorations were up and it felt so homely!
Being away from home and staying alone for the first time was one of my biggest fears but by the last day I didn’t want to leave!
If you’re in the Sheringham or Cromer area I would highly recommend and I will certainly be back!

Warm English pub atmosphere. Good friendly service and great ales.

I love going to this pub. But tonight was spoilt by 3 people swearing at each other we had the whole life story about he had a love child with some other woman. They were by bar and we were at window and the language was horrendous especially by the woman in the end we left. No member of staff said a word to them.

Just want to say, how impressed I was with the staff and the food. From first impressions great banter at the bar and very accommodating. We moved table 3 times as we wanted to see the amazing sunset. The staff understood, The food was fantastic proper home made pub grub. We all had the lasagna apart from my dad who had gammon. All piping hot and very tasty!.

Nice reasonably priced drinks — plus a good menu of pub food — nice cool ipa beer — what else do you want — oh yes — sublime view of the sea — a good place to people watch — recommended!

Reserved a seat which overlooked the sea. Queue at bar but got served quickly. Food took about 30 mins. Fish n chips was ok but fish was a little undercooked. Lasagne was nice as was canneloni. They had run out of choc fudge cake. Standard pub grub with good service but poor selection of beers.

Really love this pub in sheringham when ever we go there we try and visit. The chips and chili is a great bar snack. Sitting out looking over the sea with a sunset is proper relaxing. Dropped a star this time for the fact that a pint of Lemonade was more expensive than a pint of beer… come on guys think of the drivers!

I can't say it's a bad pub, because it just matters what your priorities are. Firstly, the location is perfect, right on the promenade. The choice of drinks is good, though not exceptional, and the selection of ales is not as good as other nearby pubs such as the crown. The table service and food is consistently very good, and the inside décor is nice. However; 1) The food and drinks aren't cheap. They're not completely unreasonable, but not cheap. 2) They claim to have free Wi-Fi, and while Wi-Fi does exist, it doesn't ever work. Not even slowly; it simply doesn't load anything. Overall, not a bad pub, but dome might find the the cons annoying.

Food and beer in top condition also dog friendly and a view out to sea. There is an outdoor seating area if the weather is up to it.

Amazing views of the Sheringham sea and beach. Great menu. Been heel several times and always loved it. Give it a go as you won't be disappointed.

Fabulous seaside pub. Next to the sea in Sheringham. Food good. Hospitality excellent. There are rooms to rent on the top floors.

I'm basing this review purely on the fish and chips I had which was top notch! Other than what you would expect the location is excellent.

There are two pubs very close to each other overlooking the sea in Sheringham, the Two Lifeboats and The Crown Inn. There were eight of us, four adults and four children (5-8) and at about 5 we went into The Two Lifeboats, it looked nice and bistro but had many tables with reserved signs on them. One table for eight was reserved from 7:30, in 2 1/2 hours time, but they weren't interested in offering it to us. We walked around and found a table of six and nearby a two and thought we could put them together, however a sign said ask, so we tried to but were ignored by the lady returning to the kitchen after serving another table. At this point we considered they didn't appear to want our custom so we went to The Crown Inn, which isn't as visually appealing but was immediately far more friendly. They also had reserved signs on tables but were happy to accommodate us, these patrons in the end not arriving before we left. I guess you are reminded from time to time how the veneer doesn't necessarily indicate the actual appeal.

The food was beautiful, my husband had the lasagne and I had The gammon and egg, we were both very pleased and thoroughly enjoyed it. The day before we had shared a seafood platter and it was delicious. The barman was quick, helpful and smiling all the time even though he had fallen and hurt his back and broke his finger. I really do recommend this lovely pub and it’s lovely staff. Look forward to visiting again.

7 of us had meals here and nobody was happy. The chips, the scampi and the garlic bread were straight out of the packet, the batter on the fish was like brandy snap. For the prices we something more than a second rate Wetherspoons.

This is nice bar. We stopped off for a drink before our meal elsewhere. We found it a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and locals. Dad a few meals delivered to the table and they looked big and very nice. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

Booking essential Fri Sat evenings in summer. Good value pub grub.

Lovely little pub that has good standard pub grub on offer. Lovely views over the sea of you sit out the front, bit chilly in winter but warm inside with a great selection of Gins and the usual beers!

The food was absolutely magnificent and the menu variety is great, great variety of drinks. The staff were very friendly. If you visit I would recommend possibly booking a table at this place even though there is a lot of space available.

Well we cant fault them. Sea view room, very comfy bed, meals and staff were great and Betty loves her Facebook and had free Wi-Fi. Having to leave the door of the shower open so that I could bend over and wash my feet made my wife laugh at the sight but Hey Ho no problem. Parking is only 30 meters round the corner. We visited the North Norfolk Railway before we checked in and should have paid the £7 for an all night stay rather than £4 for three hours there, as it would have been valid at the hotel. So we paid another £7 on top of the £4. To stay overnight. All in all a lovely place to get pampered. :) :)

A little bit upbeat right on the seafront you can sit outside and enjoy the sun set as a very nice bar and restaurant area.

The waitress was absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the food, the burger ordered was raw and although the restaurant agreed to knock 25% off they then doubled our drinks on the bill which we then had to sort out. Had none of these happened we would have given a 5* review.

Only popped in for a lunchtime pint following my ever trustworthy Good Beer Guide app. Excellent beer and lovely views. Couldn't ask for more.

Had fish and chips and a pint of their ale. Both were delicious. We were on a tight schedule because we needed to catch a train home, luckily the food was very prompt. Staff very efficient and friendly.

Been past this pub lots of times and if I'm honest, thought it looked a bit rough from the outside. Was very pleasently surprised as soon as I walked through the door. Clean and nice decor, friendly staff. We didn't eat here but had a drink with an amazing sea view. Definitely be back.

Nice bar area with plenty of tables for food. Good selection of beers, including real ales. Didn't eat, but the menu and food I saw looked good.

Lovely location. Great menu choices and lots of vegetarian options. The food was served swiftly and tasted delicious. All the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.
