A typical Holiday Inn that's never dissapointed. I've stayed here multiple times: alone, with friends, and in large groups. Never had a problem with a booking and always found the staff to be very helpful. When making a large group booking recently the hotel got in touch to say they'd arranged our rooms to be next to each other. The room quality is good and it has all the facilities you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Eating in the restaurant recently I was surprised to find that they had some fantastic quality vegan food on the menu, including a fantastic desert! A great place to stay overnight in Norwich at a reasonable price, it's not far from the city centre or the waterfront area.

The staff here are super friendly. The rooms are always clean, a good size, comfortable beds, quiet. Aircon is a bonus during the hot weather and a decent breakfast.

Cheap rooms. And a restaurant available. Good friendly service available. Only issue is at night walking in after going in city for a couple drinks. Staff can get a little bit funny with you. Food in restaurant is mediocre and service is quick.

Very nice place to stay, rooms are large and very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is very good too. Only down side is having to park in a public car park.

This is my first choice of hotel on frequent visits to Norwich. The staff are brilliant and the facilities among the best in Norwich. It's getting busier and busier, which means I now have to book well in advance.

A great place to stay in Norwich. It is slightly outside the city centre, but convenient for the football stadium and the railway station.

Great if you're into football, as it's right next to Norwich city ground. A little too far from city center for my liking.

Clean comfortable room at at reasonable price. The hotel is located near the station and football stadium. Town centre is approx. 15 min walk away.

Only been in the bar and had breakfast there before a football match, but it was a very enjoyable experience. The cooked breakfast is excellent and I can highly recommend it.

Good service, close to the station and a brilliant place to stay if u are a football fan! Is a bit on the highway so gets a bit tricky to walk! Quite far away from the city center! The rooms are really good and cosy!

Good chain hotel. It was a very nice hotel. It is not well connected with the city center where you will find the castle in photos and the pedestrian zone.

Really nice place! Greeted by nice friendly people and the rooms are really nice quality, free Wi-Fi as well and not too far to walk to Riverside where there are a good selection of restaurants. Also it's right next to Norwich football club if your into football.

Hotel is located very close to the railways station and city centre. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. Wi-Fi and Iron with ironing board available in the room. Does not have fridge and microwave in the rooms. Hotel also has a mini gym.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a couple of very nicely made hot chocolates in front of the Christmas tree after a cold but eventful match watching Norwich City football team.

We stayed in an Executive room and it was great! Everything was so nice and clean. The bed was a bit small but not a big deal.

I was staying at this hotel from the 25th to the 30th of October. I had contracted room, breakfast and parking. Now, almost after a month, I got a notice from the rental car company, because the afternoon of Sunday 29/10, I was put a fine in the hotel parking. I have no idea who to claim, and I have charged the £100 of the fine and also £45 more for administrative expenses that I have charged Europcar.
I find it outrageous that the hotel, having our registered license plate has fined us. They are scoundrels and take advantage of that we do not know the language and also we are far away to be able to go and file a complaint.
I should have denounced them for other things, for example, that at 15:40 in the afternoon of that same Sunday, a lady, allegedly in charge of cleaning, entered our room without calling. I do not repeat or crazy in this hotel, that bad experience, I would not recommend it to anyone. I put a zero as a house.

This Holiday Inn was amazing! The only negative being how attentive the staff in the restaurant were. Hopefully, this was a one-off situation.

Excellent hotel, parking is to the side of the hotel tell them when you book in. Friendly staff, rooms are lovely, spacious and clean, hair and body wash available in the bathroom, hairdryer and iron and ironing board in wardrobe, card for room is needed to turn lights and aircon use the card holder which is by the door, buffet breakfast was good. There is a Morrison's with petrol station just over the road. Great location 30 min walk to city centre or £5 taxi ride, walking distance to lots of chain restaurants, cinema and Wetherspoons. Good comfortable walking shoes needed! For footie fans level one has great views of the football pitch. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.

Good hotel if visiting for football. Staff did seem sparse first night we stayed but better the second after the foorball. Close to town for shopping.

Breakfast lovely, drinks expensive but rooms were spacious with an excellent sized bath and our room looked onto the beautiful pitch of Norwich City. Staff were amazing. Stayed here to go to a funeral and I was given a sympathy card which was very touching. Holiday inn Norwich city you are the best.

A nice hotel — clean, and had friendly staff. Stayed for an event outside of the city so the location was good, plus there are plenty of chain restaurants a short walk away. Food was pretty average, but I'd stay here again.

Functional modern hotel, good meeting place before or after a football match at the adjacent stadium. Half hour walk to City Centre. Handy for Riverside leisure area and train station.

Decent breakfast with good veggie options. Spacious and clean room. Courteous staff.

Parking situation isn't great, even though they've bought a bunch of spaces from the local fc, had to park on double yellows because even these were taken. The land is owner by the hotel though so this isn't a big problem apparently. Room is very spacious and done up nicely. Shower overflows though. Room service burger was really good.

Great hotel walking distance from airport a big plus as car rentals are closed on Sundays. Room are very clean and comfortable. Full English breakfast among other things. Great value.

Great and very helpful staff. The hotel is in a good location for the City centre. We had a executive sweet and both my wife and I were very impressed with the facility's and the standard of cleanliness. Service was second to none. Only down sites were you have to pay for parking in the football ground car park and the hotel does not have a swimming pool. I will be staying again :) )

Lovely, big rooms (if you're lucky you can get a room with a view into the stadium). Good location next to a Morrisons and only a couple of minutes walk from the center and the train station. I would recommend this hotel for business or short vacation trips.

Lovely room, however the noise from the Air Conditioning units which I can only assume are from the other rooms or roof has left me with a crazy headache.

Good hotel but not the best location in Norwich.

The room and generally the majority of the stay was perfect. The receptionist who greeted us however had no manners. I was very polite, and asked a simple question regarding card payment, to which she snapped and essentially ended shot down my enquiry. It was new years eve and I didn't want to make a big deal and ruin my night, but I, and others would generally appreciate a welcome greeting next time.

Routine guest on business, and always well taken care of. Rooms are a good standard and the food is reasonable too.

Strangely attached to the football stadium, with tantalising views of bits of the pitch, it's a pretty good example of a Holiday Inn. Clean, comfortable and quiet, pleasant enough staff and reasonably priced.

It's a Holiday Inn and it does what it says on the tin. Clean and nice interiors with good sized rooms and well maintained amenities. Breakfast is a bit bland and the staff can forget your order. Also, the room service menu is a total joke, I mean £8 for a sandwich is daylight robbery and in my view, disgustingly over priced. Would likely stay again but I'm sure for the money (£100 odd per night) I could find somewhere else. IMPORTANT: The hotel is joined to a football stadium and it's very very noticeable! The crowds are loud and the roads in/ out the hotel are closed during matches — this isn't made clear on the website but it could have a big impact if you're not prepared for it or if you have small kids etc.

We arrived poorly-timed, a mere 30 minutes before the football kickoff when the roads, parking and lobby were all having with fans, but they easily accommodated us. I barely waited at reception and, when I explained that there was no parking, they kindly parked us in the employee lot, free of charge! Best service I've ever gotten at a hotel.

This is my second visit to the Holiday Inn. Ideal for my partner and five year old as we came from North Devon on friday to watch a match on Saturday and returned home on Sunday. I must say it was the best two nights sleep I've had in ages and I felt very refreshed when I returned home! — thanks for a very comfortable bed and clean room. The staff are very helpful and friendly and plenty of breakfast choices which filled us up for most of the day. My five year old loved it too in his own big bed. The family rooms are a nice size. We will definitely be returning again to watch another match and will be booking another stay with you. Thank you.

Friendly, cheerful, professional and helpful reception staff. Clean and stylish bedrooms and public areas. Chamber cleaners a little loud with their chatter, but it was 10am. Bar and catering staff were helpful. If you are a fan of Norwich City FC you can see into the stadium from the odd number bedrooms, if the first floor is anything to go by. Sound proofing between rooms I believe was good (didn't hear a thing) but you can hear people walking past in the corridor. Curtains were effective with keeping light out and power points available in useful locations. The hotel itself is very well positioned as it is walking distance from the railway station and over the road from a shopping complex that includes a Morrisons with 24hr cash machine. Overall very happy with my stay and I slept incredibly well! Would get 4.5 but you can't do half digits on Google it seems.

I am a canaries fan. Awesome stadium great atmosphere at the stadium. Awesome goal song Bellini Samba De Janeiro really fits. Nice food good quality. Nice pitch nice views around the stadium, would reccomend sitting half way up the jarrold stand as it is a really good view. Really weird that there is a holiday inn literally right next to the barclay but anyway awesome stadium.
