Went for afternoon tea and it was abundant for both of us, fresh sandwiches 4 different types and cakes Scones cheese and savoury cre jams butter coffee left stuffed great build up to Christmas, also the staff and Manager were delightful thank you all very much and a Happy Christmas to every one of you 😀

The Pheasant is nothing more than amazing! We hired the Hotel for exclusive use and the staff were absolutely amazing. The rooms were beautiful, the food was exceptional and our wedding day was the best day we could have imagined.

Fantastic room, the food is out of this world and the staff are really friendly.

We had a holiday there with our dogs. Staff were lovely. Food was delicious. Our dogs were made welcome. The only thing I would change was our room. Because it was dog friendly it was at the back of the hotel, which in its self was ok, but the rooms decorating was dull. It wanted freshening up with brighter colours. Other than that a lovely holiday.

We had our 1st stay at the pheasant hotel last Monday, we absolutely loved it. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely 1st class and they also really looked after me as I have a nut allergy and assured me all my food was nut free.
The room was really nice and clean with good quality bathroom, teas, coffee etc, we will definitely return for another stay!

We have visited many times and the staff and services are 1st class. Very attentive and really want everything to be first class.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast and dinner menus offer a good range of choices and is of a very high standard.
Would highly recommend this hotel.

We got married at the hotel on 10th January. The venue and staff exceeded our expectations on all fronts.
All of our guests were blown away by the food and the hospitality of the staff.
It was so hard coming home at the end of of magical weekend as it felt we’d left new friends.
We will certainly be returning and recommending as a wedding venue.

Just returned from two nights away at The Pheasant 17th to 19th January. It’s true what all the reviews say wonderful helpful and happy staff, food superb and hotel spotless throughout. On top of that a great location on the North Norfolk Coast. I highly recommend it.

Stayed two nights… a wonderful 4* hotel with 5* staff. Great food, comfortable beds, everywhere so clean and welcoming. I don't think we have stayed in a hotel where every member of staff was smiling and so happy… and made us feel so welcome.

We booked the junior suite for a romantic break. The Pheasant met, and exceeded, all expectations. Comfortable luxury, superb accommodation with thoughtful additional finishing touches, friendly staff and delicious food all set in a wonderful location.

Beautiful hotel on the edge of the earth (well the drive here felt like that! ) no phone signal but great Wi-Fi! Dinner was great. Large choice on the menu. Rooms stunning. Grounds even more stunning. Will come back again.
Just 1 thing the room o was in above reception in the morning lots of staff chatting loudly under my window she your chef smoking right under my window. Not pleasant.

Had an amazing meal here last night. The food was delicious, the surroundings were beautiful and the staff go above and beyond to make your evening special. I would highly recommend a visit to this stunning hotel and restaurant.

Even though this 'hotel' stands in lovely grounds and looks very pretty unfortunately the look is superficial The pluses are: 1. Hardworking, professional and friendly staff 2. Room service 3. Very comfortable bed 4. Great shower 5. Great breakfast 6. Quiet The minuses are: 1. No character in the rooms 2. Cheap furniture (looks like laminated MDF) 3. Bed linen was bobbled 4. No 'comfort' extras such as bath robes, sliders, little toiletries It has the feel and look of motel trying to be a luxury hotel 5. Did not feel secure as room on ground floor 6. Room became hot and stuffy at night because we could not have windows open as on ground floor and did not feel secure Could be so much better with a little more thought.

Excellent food, excellent service. I've been there before and would recommend it highly. The staff are great, the hotel is comfortable and really difficult to fault. It's suitable for my dad turning up to dinner in a suit, or hiding in the car park with a camping stove cooking dinner shrimp that he's caught. They cater well for dog walkers with dog friendly rooms (with easy access to outside) and a boot washing area. It's also on a load of footpaths. Good for food, good for relaxing, good for getting out and doing stuff.

Ate in the orangery for dinner. A very pleasant open, light and airy dining room with the tables well spaced apart. Busy with convivial atmosphere. Food was tasty and and well prepared and the menu provided good choice. Desserts were delicious. Will be visiting again.

Fantastic modern well kept quiet luxury hotel, with Beautiful landscape gardens. The staff were fantastic, well dressed friendly professionals. A real gem and dog friendly in some parts. Best to give them some warning if dining with a dog then they can keep you to one side, out of the way of the other guests in the orangery. Plus we had a ground floor room with access to a rear garden. Brilliant friendly place and will return in the future.

We went for Father's Day. My father in law was disappointed with the set menu. I liked mine. My mother-in-law thought it was expensive. This is a splendid venue in a lovely setting. The staff were charming if a little stressed after the lunch time session and the food and wine we're good. The beer in the bar was boring, I didn't expect anything different.

This is our third stay here. Lovely hotel, professional helpful staff. Food great and tastes so fresh. Accessible room is great for a wheelchair user. Walk in shower. Plenty of space in room. Fresh milk and water in a fridge. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate and biscuits each day. Big carpark with plenty of disabled parking.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch here. It was a Sunday so there was the traditional roast with all the trimmings. Also, a good choice of fish dishes, but only one vegetarian option. Luckily I eat a little fish. I had the pan fried cod it was very enjoyable.

Lovely surroundings, helpful and pleasant staff, lovely food and comfy bed, fabulous shower!

We stayed in Weybourne and it seems that this was the only place who served a good breakfast, they have a Breakfast buffet with a selection of Danishes, Country Bread, Home made Fruit Yoghurt Pot, Fresh Juices… although we went for the A La Carte Menu with Salmon Benedict and Egg Florentine, the food is great and delicious and the staff is very helpful and great also love the deco and the place is spot on clean!

We stayed here for one night 21/4/18 absolutely fantastic place so clean staff are so friendly and accommodating food is out of this world and added touch as it was my husband birthday and at the end of his meal he had a plate of little sweets and happy birthday written on the plate, it was such a lovely nite away will definitely recommend and will certainly be back, thank u for making it a fab stay!

Food good, staff good, service s bit slow.

Easter Saturday for 2 nights DB&B. Another visit. Highly recommended. Peaceful + ideal location on main North Norfolk coast road and near charming Holt. Matthew is the star here with very calm, attentive service in restaurant. First class customer service. Excellent food. Pleasant bar for pre dinner drinks. A true gem on this coastline. We will be back 4 sure. Well done.

Absolutely fantastic Christmas day meal. Very well organised and you never felt like there were 30 other tables being served. Highly recommend it.

We have just got home from a 3 night xmas stay. The food was beautifully presented tasted delicious and plenty if it. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The staff were brilliant, very attentive always looking to see if you have everything you want. Nothing to much trouble. We definitely had a 5 star xmas. When we paid our bill we reserved our room for next year.

My wife and I had our wedding reception at the Pheasant and it was amazing. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, Becky in particular did everything she could to make our special day even more spectacular. The food is outstanding and the afternoon teas and cakes are among the best I've ever had!

What a fantastic place, we had a lovely night away for our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious. Also purchased a lovely glass candle jar.

Arrived around 3pm on a Saturday for afternoon tea. After a short wait we were presented with two towering trays of sandwiches and cakes. Everything was was freshly prepared and the warm scones were to die for. The pheasant definitely comes recommend.

The pheasant hotel is an all round pleasant experience. The bedrooms have a grace and elegance that is interesting yet inoffensive and the bathroom was clean and modern (very powerful showers! ), I also liked the breakfasts (can't comment on other meals or menus sadly as our stay was short).

Lovely 3 day Christmas break Dec 2015. Very comfortable warm Hotel. Staff were great serving excellent food. We would like to return to it in the summer as the surroundings and walks (to the beach) will be excellent.

Fantastic experience, good and well trained staff, high quality food and service. This is a small countryside hotel, I recommend this hotel if your are looking for a quiet break away from the busy daily life. Nothing is too much trouble for this fantastic team.

We stayed at the The Pheasant Hotel for my husbands birthday, What a wonderful hotel, lovely friendly staff, very helpful, the food fantastic. Room very clean and comfortable. Going to visit again later in year, really good location for other parts of North Norfolk, Blakeny, Holcombe etc etc. It was a lovely hotel to get away from it all. The hotel has been modernised to an exceptional standard and we cannot wait to go back.

The Good: The grounds are first class and the appearance of the hotel was 10/10. Plenty of parking facilities including disabled parking spaces. Reception staff were good and polite especially a lady named Jenny. Bar staff were good and again polite. The Bad: The chef could not handle the volume at breakfast time (I counted 10 people in the room) and forgot our order totally. We eventually received our order some 45 minutes later with apologies for our wait. Next morning there was no sauce to go with the salmon as there was a problem with the gas? had to laugh at that excuse We ordered from the bar for our evening meals and the service was a little better although one night we ordered 2 racks of baby back ribs and they were tough as old boots. When I complained to the staff about them he said he would let the chef know. At no point were we offered an alternative meal or a resolve to the complaint. My son was up all night being ill from this meal which I informed the staff of the next day The complimentary shower bottles and the shampoo were never replaced and condiments were left in the room from the day before and the waste bin was not emptied either nor was the milk replaced in the fridge for the coffee and tea making facilities It was very hot in the room and we had to open windows to get some air flow.

I made a booking at the Pheasant hotel in good faith on 28th May paying a deposit of £60. Most unfortunately, unknowingly my friend had booked us in to a cottage a lot closer to where our other friends were spending the weekend. As a result I called back almost immediately (within half an hour according to my phone bill) to explain the situation and apologise profusely. Accepting responsibility in light of the genuine error I asked that at least half of my £60 be refunded but alas nobody got back to me as they said they would. The hotel has not acted in accordance with the consumer cooling off period law. Very disappointed by the service received and attitude of the hotel.

Stayed with wife and daughter in adjoining room very reasonable friendly staff good food, left feeling very relaxed and happy would recommend steve hunt.
