Just returned from a wonderful stay at the gorgeous Norfolk Courtyard, the perfect place to unwind in an idyllic countryside setting. The Garden Room was lovely, immaculately clean and with everything little touch thought of. Simon and Catherine were the perfect hosts and we look forward to seeing them again. Don't hesitate to book, you'll have a wonderful time!

Went to The Norfolk Courtyard with friends to spend New Years Eve. What a fabulous choice! The accommodation has been tastefully designed and you will want for nothing! This luxury B and B certainly deserves its title with fluffy white towels, beautiful toiletries and even home made biscuits. Hairdryer to fridge this place offers hotel standard facilities. Breakfast was by far the best I have had and the beetroot bread for toast was a revelation. Simon could not have been a better host and made us all feel so welcome. His hosting skills are worth the price alone. Simon and his wife are passionate about their home and this in turn ensures you feel the same. Beautiful grounds and plenty to do. Don't waste any more time reading this, book it!

We booked and paid for a 2 night stay in the shepherds huts and had invited extra members of our party to stay in tents (as directed on the website where it clearly stated up to 8 extra guests were welcome to camp). However, upon arrival, the aggressive and uncompromising owner, Simon, made it very clear we were not welcome 'at his home' and repeatedly suggested we were trying to 'exploit' him. We were given no chance to discuss the situation with him despite many calm and reasonable attempts to do so. We were accused of being the kind of people who would treat the area like a festival and trash the place, an absolutely appalling assumption to make. To insult paying guests, raise your voice and throw around completely unfounded accusations is absolutely unacceptable behaviour. The 6 members of our party who were camping were forced to find another campsite over half an hour away and the remaining 4 were forced to sleep in the huts, purely because we had been flat refused a refund and other places in the area were fully booked. To say it was a real dampener on what should have been a happy celebration of a friend's birthday is a huge understatement. I would advise all other would-be guests to steer well clear.

Extremely rude owner. When arriving, the owner, Simon, refused to allow us to stay there when we had paid in full and confirmed our booking, presumptively accusing us of going to leave beer bottles, rubbish and mess all over the site, and blocking his toilets. This is 10 seconds after arriving for our stay. We didn't understand why he was being so hostile towards us. I've never been greeted by someone who was so rude and prejudice. We had done nothing to suggest we would make a mess, and nor were we there to play loud music or drink beers. We had 4 people sleeping in the huts and had confirmed we were allowed extra people camping.
On the site it said up to 8 extra people, we had 6. Avoid this place, the owner is extremely rude, insulting and aggressive and is only out to take your money.

I really enjoyed my stay at Norfolk Courtyard. The location is excellent and the facilities were perfect with lots of attention to detail. The owners, Simon and Catherine are friendly and really helpful and the whole experience was a delight. Highly recommended.
