Arrived Fri-sun checked in friendly welcome helpful. Room lovely couldn't have been better. Had a 3 course meal at the Hotel lovely Bar staff friendly customer service excellent Made to feel welcome Asked several times if everything OK Breakfast was lovely and good choice self service. Lovely sea view and country views One of the nicest stays I've had in UK in a long time. Would come back and recommend.

Really nice hotel, I was surprised it was only 3*. Staff at reception were friendly, welcoming, polite & nothing was to much trouble. Pool was a lovely welcome. Room was spotless & as I could not get TV to work one of the reception staff came twice to my room & sorted it. Would definitely return, I had a standard single room, very spacious & it was a double bed, pillows were fabulous.

Mediocre bar and grill. Service isn't great (run by kids).

Nice and comfy and pleasant people.

Great coastal family hotel, with golf course. Well worth a visit.

Went for lunch yesterday, it was pretty awful. The veg chilli tasted like a microwave curry meal. the hake was massively over cooked and dry. the caesar salad was OK, but 13quid for some lettuce is a bit steap and there was nothing too it. not great.

Parked here to charge the car with their charger. Called ahead and they made sure no one was taking up the charge space. Only charged £5. Helpful staff and cosy bar for drinks/tea. Didn't stay in the rooms or eat.

I love this course and club. So friendly, yes its not a 18 hole but the warmth and friendly staff make up for it … Thanks for a wonderful day …

Arrived on a coach with a group of ex colleagues. The welcome was great and the organisation to quickly process us all, accompanied by an excellent coffee, was superb. Everywhere in the hotel looked clean and freshly decorated. All seating in the communal areas were plush and comfortable. Our room was excellent with a sea view. It was spacious and well laid out. The Queen sized bed was very comfortable, leading to a most restful night. The evening meal was to a high standard, although my one criticism of the whole stay was that the salmon was overcooked, dry and chewy. What a shame, but with the excellent Chablis we had chosen to go with the meal, let's not dwell on the one negative. Staff were caring, attentive and charming. I will certainly be back. Thank you!

I use the gym and swimming pool regularly. Great value membership although could do with better orientation.

Visited for a wedding reception. Was a great evening and a good bar. Food was superb.

Very nice hotel, large clean rooms, good food, friendly and helpfull staff, but we found the drinks very expensive.

Good value for money with a nice 9 hole golf course with some cracking views. Well worth a visit.

Room fine but TV only gets about 4 channels even after re tuning. It is noticeable how coach groups are very much second fiddle in the dining room. Lighting poor in dining area. Cleanliness of rooms exemplary.

Lovely staff, nice views/location. Great food. Small railway station right on the doorstep and parking directly outside. Only stayed one night and the bill was incorrect on checkout but this was rectified quickly without any fuss.

Garden room for an overnight stay. The room was comfortable, as was the bed. There was a noise coming from some kind of plant running outside, but it became less noticeable after a while. Overall a decent night's sleep. Didn't eat there to be able to comment on the restaurant.

We stayed only for one night but really enjoyed it, very friendly staff, nice and relaxing environment.

We held our wedding at The Links Country Park Hotel two weeks ago and were extremely pleased. Everything went very smoothly thanks to the very professional, well organised and hardworking staff. The food was wonderful and some guests told us that it was the best wedding food they had ever had! We would like to say a big thank you to Melanie and the team at the Links for all their hard work! We would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding. We would just like to add that we apologise to the guest who commented on there not being enough room in the ceremony room, this was entirely our fault and not the fault of the hotel. We were fully aware at the time of booking that the Links only had the capacity to seat a maximum of 80 guests for the ceremony, but they kindly agreed to accommodate extra guests on the understanding that some would be required to stand.

Both the hotel and sports bar nice and with dog friendly areas. Ate in sports bar and food was nice and fairly priced. Very handy if you are on the caravan club site.

Good carvery. Limited selection. Great lunch but not exceptional.

A shoddy experience. Room didn't have a shower or functioning Wi-Fi. Lost count of the number of staircases I had to climb to get to my room… the slow, antiquated to lift was little help. Would not recommend.

We had a fantastic weekend with our dogs Trevor and charlie xxx very dog friendly xxx.

Went over Christmas, never again, the worst 3 days of my life. During my stay someone gave my room number for their bottle of wine (at £16.50), so it went on my bill — quite easy to do as you do not sign or show a key fob when you order a drink. My daughter's room had an ice cream booked to it which she did not order. A waiter dropped a piece of cutlery on the floor picked it up and put it back on his tray with his other cutlery and carried on laying the table where other guests then used them for their meal. On booking out, it took 5 staff and 7 print outs to get my bill correct before I could pay it, I WILL NEVER GO TO THE LINKS AGAIN and if you want a trouble free stay don't use them as I cannot be the only one so dissatisfied with them.

We had a wedding at The Links on Valentines day 2014. The atmosphere in the place is really nice; friendly staff and cosy surroundings. The gold course isn't as long as some, but it more than makes up for it in terms of difficulty and surroundings. Hole 6 is uphill, and at the top there are some great views. Back to the wedding. The food at the reception was amazing! Canapes followed by Beef or Chicken, complete with fresh vegetables. This didn't seem mass produced, despite the 100 or so guests. It tasted wonderful. Dessert was lovely too. My room (257) was tastefully decorated. It's obvious walking around the hotel that works and redecoration is happening. This didn't spoil anything however, as they were in rooms rather than in a bar for example. All in all, we were waiting for something to go wrong, but no complaints for this place, very nice.
