Only able to give 2 stars due to my experience as a guest, Very is to book by ringing them direct unable to find on 3rd party. On arrival to the hotel easy to check in. Wasn't given or told any information on exiting the building in case of fire. Room was good size with ensuite, kettle and tea coffee the usual, down falls. Room was very dusty I must of woke up most the night sneezing. You can hear every guest opening and banging doors. The shower was more of a watering can. Food is cooked in a deep fat fryer. I know this as being a chef most my life you can tell the difference. Breakfast is added to the cost at a huge £10 for what you get not worth it. I also had what you call snack food, yes this was also cooked in a deep fat fryer a burger turned out plastic. I always thought I was being watched while just sitting watching TV. Felt very unwelcoming. Wasn't also told that in the evening they leave the premises, personally this is very unprofessional as some guests couldn't check in and decided to leave. Experience wise it's faulty towers. I'd only stay here again if there wasn't room anywhere else.

I'm afraid I can't review the guest house to any significant extent, as I never got to go in as I was calling to pick up my cousin who is staying there. I contacted the guest house's phone number as I couldn't get an answer from the door. The man I spoke to was very courteous & helpful, so this for me gave a very good impression of the guest house. From what I could see looking in from outside the guest's lounge looked very comfortable & well appointed. My cousin has no complaints whatsoever about the place, so I'd say all things considered it looks like a very pleasant place to stay.

Owners john and debbie are very friendly and make you feel at home. All meals breakfast and evening meals are excellent, with a wide choice and will cater to your needs and not set meals. Rooms are lovely and clean and tidy everyday, big lovely back garden to sit out and enjoy your cuppa or have a beer even smoke as it's all under cover if it rains. Looking forward to staying there again later in the year, well worth it.

The stay was great the staff r very helpful and will do anything to help nice stay at the Albion guest house try it out.

My partner and I have been staying at the Albion for a few years now as we were that impressed after our first stay we don't like to stay any were else. John and the team are all friendly helpful polite and all round lovely people. Nothing is too much bother for them the rooms are delightful warm comfortable and clean. The food is exceptional and the whole experience is amazing and excellent value for money beyond a doubt. As if all that isn't great enough the location is amazing literally five minutes on foot from the sea front and lovely beach. I have recommended the Albion to all my family and friends and do not hesitate in recommending to everyone. Excellent place and lovely people thank you to John and all the staff for making our stay so pleasurable.

The location of the guest house is very good. You can go by metro to the city centre of Liverpool. The rooms are large enough. They do also offer fresh made breakfast and dinner.

We have just had a fantastic five days in New Brighton Liverpool, this trip was a present for my partners 50th birthday. I had already booked to see the Beatles tribute band at the cavern and then john legend at the Echo arena. But what made this special weekend even better was the wonderful staff at the Albion Guest House New Brighton. Especially john, Lewis, Anna and John's wife Debbie. Who made us feel like part of the family. The Albion was very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. The Albion Guest House is just 2 minutes walk to the train station which we used all the time going in to liverpool and various other places and did not use the car at all. £5.00 for a day saver is value for money. We would recommend the area and the Albion to friends and family. We would definitely return with no hesitation in the future. Thanking you all From a very happy couple Lynn and Ian.

Thank Annah and Lewis for your hospitality. Quite, clean place with lovely garden. The staff very friendly and really made effort to make us feel at home. I recommend this place and will stay there again.

Really nice and cozy place. Ideal for couples and travelers. The breakfast is good and the view from the house is decent. The rooms and the shared spaces are clean.

What a lovely and friendly guest house, John and his team can't do enough for you. Great breakfast to set you up for the day, very close to the rail station and the beach front. Thanks for a wonderful weekend stay. Would recommend.

Nice guesthouse, very helpful staffs. The rooms were very clean and feels good to sleep there. The guesthouse is near the trainstation, you can take the train to the city center all day. The breakfast was very nice english breakfast. The bar also offers beers but it closed early in the evening.

I was in the Albion Guest House with by Brother, not through choice but as temporary accommodation. This was because of an incident that affected both of our homes and our housing association placed us there. However I am very pleased they did because we found the Albion Guest House to be a very friendly, welcoming place. The staff are excellent, very professional yet warm, friendly and welcoming. They are always ready to help in any way they can, from preparing the breakfast you ask for to just having a chat and a laugh. Regarding breakfast there is the usual choice of a full English to a Continental or just a drink and cereal, however you wish. The Guest House itself is clean, spacious and close to all that New Brighton has to offer with short, 5/10 minute walks to public transport links. We stayed in a twin room, with 2 single beds and an en suite, which was cleaned, tidied with towels and bedding changed daily or as when requested. During our time there we could find no faults, we were even allowed to use the washing line after returning from the launderette. Which helped us tremendously​ with our stressful situation and in general we were very happy to be at the Albion Guest House and if needed would most certainly stay there again. We have been invited to visit anytime, which we will with pleasure.

It was just overnight but really had a nice stay! Quiet neighbourhood, friendly and helpful staff… rooms are clean, tidy and posh; not to mention complimentary drinks when you arrive, continental and English breakfast in the morning… what more can we ask for? Five star!

My son and his partner visited from Wales and said they would recommend this place to anyone. They stayed at The Queens hotel last time and said The Albion was better in every respect.

A clean, tidy, well-equipped, spacious twin room with comfortable beds and a bay window looking down to the prom. All facilities we needed were up to date and worked well: the extras we asked for were readily available. There was a wide choice of breakfast food with a well-cooked full-breakfast. We ate in one evening and had a good meal. Thanks to John K, John Mc and Keith, whose friendly and helpful approaches really enhanced a great 4 day stay. They were always around but never intrusive. I'd go back without any hesitation.

Hi. Anybody who's visiting the New Briighton area. Will not be disappointed at your stay in this wonderful Guest house. It's very close to sea front, a couple of minutes to the train station and bars, eateries all near by. I highly recommend it and it's my second stay here when visiting the wirral. Perfect location, it's all good. Dennis.
