Very kind and helpful staff. Exceptionally good breakfast. You have everything you need to stay. The rooms are fully equipped. The area is very quiet.

Ok, clean and well placed for the dog and the park. Access to the front door is a climb if you are a wrinkly like me.

John is a friendly and proud owner of this wonderful B and B which is only a 15/20 min walk from the heart of the city of Liverpool. Great continental breakfast too.

Poor quality hell hole! Literally the worst place I've ever stayed and I've been been in Mostar during a war and it was still a higher standard. The place is unclean, unpleasant in every way and the breakfast is horrendous. The owner is completely oblivious apparently. Do yourself a favour. Stay at home folks!

My three-day stay at this lovely and comfortable house next to Princess Park was, due to to the friendly and very helpful assistance of the landlord John in respect of any of my wishes as well as regarding my questions about interesting landmarks of Liverpool, a really great experience.

John I think you were robbed on 4 in a bed. You came across as a very entertaining, genuine and kind man. I will defo book into your b&b when I come to Liverpool.

Stayed there last Saturday night. Situated in a lovely old house on a nice street, the rooms are large, hiigh-ceilinged, warm, bright clean and pleasantly eclectically furnished with very comfortable beds. The modern bathroom, although not ensuite, was next door and freshly laundered robes, towels, slippers etc are all provided. The kitchen and TV lounge are again very stylish. The breakfast was not a traditional fry-up or continental, but almost a world breakfast with cereals inc muesli, juice, jamon serrano, blood orange segnments, Turkish Yoghurt, jams, marmalades, eggs, pears poached in red wine cinammon and cloves, longans, smoked salmon, nuts inc pistachios, tea, coffee, lovely bread toated if required, lemons, and I think I've forgotten some. Left you feeling nicely full but not bloated. My daughter, at Uni here, was also able to join me for breakfast for a reasonable fee. John, the host is a lovely, friendly, warm man who serves the breakfast while chatting and regaling you with interesting local history, humour, and advice as to what to do in Liverpool, without overdoing it. He also provides you with maps, Wi-Fi, useful numbers, a bit of gossip,. It is just a little bit outside the main centre, but getting in and out is a doddle. Wou;d highly recommend it as somewhere a pleasurable bit different to the usual B &B.

I stayed at Elegant House for the week while working in Liverpool. John was a great host and we had a lot of very interesting conversations. The breakfast was really delicious with a lot of options to choose from. Next time I'm in Liverpool I will definitivly stay here again.

Just returned from a memorable stay at the Elegant House. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who is tired of soulless hotel rooms in the middle of a city shopping centre. This is terrific home where you will be well looked after by John who is happy to share lots of interesting stories about his life in Liverpool.
