We arrived on sunday lunch time after picking up my nan in sutton on sea and driving for 4 hours! We were turned away for not booking! Even though we had already sat down at a table and there were many spaces. 😔very bad customer service ❌

Love it here. Staff are always helpful. It's clean and tidy. Lovely garden area, although not dog friendly inside which is such a shame especially with the cooler weather coming up and we'd probably actually have meals here if we could eat inside.

The pub decor and garden were brilliant but the hotel rooms were very outdated and not really worth the price we paid. Double beds, not king size, beds need new mattresses, lumpy pillows, no fridge (standard in most hotels), wash basins in the room and not the bathroom. The breakfast was also nothing to shout about. Eggs were cheap eggs, one slice of toast with eggs on toast, mushrooms and hash browns very greasy, cheap coffee. No social distancing in the breakfast room. Tables very close together. Seemed more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel.
Customer service was brill from reception but not so great at breakfast as we felt like outsiders to the older gentleman that served us. Unfortunately we wont be stopping again.

Stopped off for a few drinks in the beer garden with the dogs. Nice place, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices. The beer garden is large and spacious and the place is dog friendly, leaving out a bowl of water.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly, excellent breakfast included in price, highly recommend!
