Nice hotel lovely rooms nice and clean lovely staff on reception the only thing that let our stay down was when we sat down for a lovely meal and hadn't realised the fish we had ordered for my younger daughter was full of bones there was no way she could eat that no one mentioned that the fish had bones in knowing this was for my younger daughter

I treated my daughter to this spa day as she deserved to be spoilt rotten after gaining 3 A levels this summer — and she chose to spoil her mum
Relaxing day swimming, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi followed by a loved afternoon tea and Buck’s Fizz — champagne with fresh orange juice.
Even made special sandwiches, fruit bowls and salads for dairy intolerance and mine full on cream scones, buttered sandwiches, fruit and salad and chocolate cake too. Finished off with coffees — service was great both at the small leisure complex and in the restaurant too. Lovely greeting and attention to detail as soon as we walked through the doors. Waved the extortionate parking fees which existed at the front of the hotel and had no trouble getting in and out either.
Road works we’re a bit hit and miss towards the hotel as asked to pull sharp right into the works access and for the hotel too.
Overall a lovely day and well worth the spa treat just to see my daughter relax and see her face light up throughout the day

So check in uneventful. No information given about where restaurant was or breakfast times. Room not complete on arrival. Had a deluxe room and wine and snacks missing. Took a while and lots of messaging to get them. Restaurant does not really cater for gluten free. However the only meal that I could have the chef took great care to get right. The waitress Adele was also very helpful. Only one gluten free snack available at bar/coffee bar but staff not completely aware what it is. On establishing what it was it was not available Breakfast gluten free is the best selection that I have seen anywhere. Just needed to make the most and fill up at breakfast time. Pool area lovely and staff helpful.

We stayed here overnight when our flight from Cyprus arrived late at night. We got to the hotel at around 1am and Andre on reception was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was comfortable and the children had a bed each with an added bonus of a packet of Haribo on their pillow along with their towel and toiletries. We had room only as we didn't think we'd make it down for breakfast. The public areas have had an overhaul and look very modern, but the decore in our room was a little tired, but did the job. We would definitely stay again and would recommend.

The staff are nice as reception.. Beyond this it's a dump. Everything is dusty, glasses left outside all night, a cotton bud laying on the reception floor, stains on the carpet in the room, need a private investigator to find the kettle and cheap nasty coffee, room smelt like a urinal. So if you like all this hell yeah Deffo go! Oh and it miles from the airport.. Far to over priced I would have rather sleep in my car!

Had a great stay there. Loved the good and the beds were so comfy. Also a lovely jacuzzi and sauna. Only complaints is the location, its easy to miss a turn from the motorway. The pints at the bar were great but the guinness was a disaster. Absolutely undrinkable. Staff seemed great except one foreign receptionist, hard accent to understand and she took ages explaining stuff where I told her we were in a hurry for a taxi. Other receptionist could sort me out in no time

Quite mediocre. Was expecting something "special" in comparison to premier inn. But room had a noisy AC which kept us up and you couldn't open windows. Did not feel any 4* stuff. Might be different if you pay more to get all the spa stuff and food but I expect to feel 4* no matter what part of the service I get. Decor dated. Would be happier to just go to a premier inn.

Stayed here after flying back from Greece. We arrived back quite late with our 2 children. After a long day of traveling all we wanted was some food and sleep however there wasn't much choice for food so we decided to just go sleep. Just as we were about to go to sleep the people in the room next door arrived back and were very loud! We called reception to complain and they said they would sort it. After a further 3 calls to reception and 2hours later the staff finally knocked on their door and told them to be quiet! When checking out we were asked how our stay was so we said what had happened and they said well we could offer you free breakfast bit the breakfast has just finished!

Very nice stay at the hotel, had a business meeting there and an overnight stay. Just off the M1, I had a twin club room, one gripe being the TV needed the internet enabling for YouTube/Netflix was told the option wasn't bought by the front desk however it was possible to switch it on via the engineer options. It's 2018 we should be able to get online on a TV that is capable of it. The room was nice and comfortable.

Great hotel in a very convenient location. Was surprisingly quite couldn't hear any aeroplanes despite it being an airport hotel. Nicely renovated with great facilities. Will definitely be back as it's so close to Derby & Leicester. Parking is reasonable if your staying overnight (discounted rate of £5 per night)

The Hilton East Midlands Airport is, on first arrival, a worry given its location next to the busy M1 and A50. However, noise was not a problem during the stay. The staff at reception were warm and welcoming, offering helpful advice. We were upgraded and within 5 minutes of arriving in the room, one knocked on the door to bring us an Easter egg that had been left in our original room. The room, a deluxe, is dated but comfortable. The bathroom is looking a little tired, but nothing bad or in need of maintenance. The bed looked uncomfortable at first, but turned out to be very supportive. The restaurant offers a now typical selection, with some unique dishes. It all tasted very good. What lost the final star for me was the paid parkin and the old feeling of the room.

Have used this venue for formal meetings using the meeting rooms and also less formal team catch ups in the bar. Easy to get to, parking is sometimes free but always reasonable. Food is good and service is excellent. Have not stopped overnight so can only review from a business services perspective which are always excellent

Nice hotel, conveniently located with very helpful/friendly staff. Traffic is terrible due to junction "improvements" on the M1 so leave early if going to a conference or East Midlands airport. Rooms are looking a bit tired and the food is expensive but the staff and great service compensate for this.

Just want to say a huge (although delayed) thank you to your reception staff, who helped me and my 10 year old son out on the evening of 20th December at approx 10. 30pm. I was in a complete panic after 1 hour of trying to negotiate the roadworks and diversion signs trying to get to the airport to collect my husband (road to the airport was closed, and huge roadworks and diversions on the roundabout) In desperation I drove to the hotel, and your reception staff were wonderful. Offered us tea and coffee, and then contacted a taxi driver at the airport, who drove my husband to the hotel to meet us there. Thank you for a wonderful service that night.

New year party. Venue was nice and they didn't charge us for parking. DJ was very good. Drinks were extortionate. This place is out of the way but the mark up on driver friendly drinks was shocking. 3 soft drinks £10. 25. £6 for a pint of Blackcurrant and Soda. (3 small bottles of soda) buffet food was pretty good (beef and chicken carvery was good) but their fish dish was so dry. Sweet selection was good. A mixed bag but the drinks issue was the main talking point. Won't be back next year.

Car park looks like a building site with cars parked on grass and ballast in parts. Reception very nice and modern as is bar area but £9. 50 for a large glass of wine is just exploiting the customer. Swimming pool nice but be aware if you have kids the members of the gym seem quite happy to swim into your child as they are in there way! Room was basic old furniture with stains on it the view was of a skip from the works going on, no complimentary water and apparently families sleep in four single beds not a double and two singles. Beware the small print booked a family room got a quad room and was told that you get one or the other depending on what's available. Generally not bad staff were polite and friendly just overpriced, to far from alton towers. Not what I expected from the hilton brand.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. I went with high expectations only to be really disappointed. My room was extremely noisy due to the motorway right behind it and upon complaining the staff just simply apologized and said there isn't anything we can do. There was a constant noise and I did not manage to sleep properly for 2 nights. Room hygiene is really poor, the first morning I woke up to find out I have rash all over my skin. I definitely suggest not to stay at Hilton EMA and instead choose the Premier Inn or Jury's Inn close by.

The best was that we booked this hotel before an early flight holiday and we could just leave our car at their car park, getting an free airport shuttle the next morning without to worry about where to drive etc. The hier staff was very friendly too. A good hotel, which might need here and there a bit attention, but perfect to start your holiday already before you fly. The only little downside is that the breakfast is just from I think 7 am, which was to late fit us unfortunately.

The breakfast was lovely there was so much choice. We used the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. This is our second stay here and we will be back for sure.
