Had a leisure package for my 18th! Had a great stay over with a friend, dinner and breakfast was lovely! Added touch of my desert which was very thoughtful (pictured) spa and pool was very nice! Definitely recommend.

We fancied a night away so booked the one night stay package here with the 2 course evening meal in Marco’s and breakfast, the room was nice and comfortable with everything you need, the spa was really nice and relaxing we enjoyed the use of all the facilities, pool, spa, steam room and sauna the cold showers between were nice and felt so refreshed and relaxed after. The food in the Marco Pierre restaurant was amazing and so filling. Very good portion sizes very tasty and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The experience from Start to finish was really good and definitely worth it we will be returning. And we heard no noise from planes as some people had commented about this but we definately didn’t hear any so don’t be put off.

Just had my hen do here and honestly we had the best time! Couldn’t fault a thing! The service was great, the food was great, the rooms were lovely and the staff was absolutely amazing! I would definitely go again, lovely hotel.

We have just returned from a hen party stay overnight and the Yew Lodge was amazing. We are so grateful that we chose here as it was everything we could have wanted and more. The staff were amazing and literally couldn’t have done anymore for us, the hotel was beautiful and immaculately clean, the rooms were lovely and the facilities were amazing. The friendliness of the staff absolutely made our stay and we have all said how amazing the hotel was to put up with us. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion, it is so reasonably priced and you will definitely be well looked after. Thank you so so much to the Yew Lodge team for making our stay so enjoyable and going above and beyond.

Great hotel, fantastic facilities and the staff were amazing! The food at Marco's was very tasty and well-presented; the chefs did a fabulous job. The staff, especially Rafal, Sean, Agnes and Everett made the experience even more memorable with their attentiveness and engagement with us. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing time.

Parking is a bit of an issue here. Hotel itself is under refurbishment but it's very nice and very smart. The dining areas are lush and the menu itself is very good also. I hear it has good gym and spa facilities also.

This hotel and restaurant has undergone a bit of a transformation over the last few years. Revamped bedrooms, which are really lovely, the Laurent-Perrier suite (excellent for business meetings and more) the health club, spa & treatment rooms and we also had lunch at the hotel's restaurant, Marcos New York Italian. Lunch was excellent. There is a good chef working hard here to ensure that the food is very tasty, fresh and well presented. The menu offers a good choice with a varied selection, but is not so huge that deciding becomes a chore. The service was attentive yet discreet. The restaurant offers intimate booth seating — very comfortable and surprisingly spacious, as well as more formal dining tables on the other side of the room. The management team here are proactive, knowledgeable and approachable. They know their stuff but don't sit on their laurels waiting for business to come to them. They do a lot to promote the hotel and it's facilities locally and welcome support and custom from the local villages. We learnt of a number of initiatives that the hotel offer during lunch; they seem to be full of good and new ideas to keep resident guests happy and actively encourage communication so that they can continue to better their product.

Really impressed. Fantastic value for money. Room excellent. Great service. Friendly and helpful staff. I had 1 night with breakfast. 8 days parking and transfer to and from East Mids airport. Went like clockwork super efficient. All for £89! Will definitely use them again.

This hotel is a little gem. At first you might think the location is a bit strange as it’s in the middle of a residential area. However once you enter the hotel you forget all about that. The staff here are second to none. Every department is blessed with some great individuals. The spa area is not the biggest but a nice place to chill and relax. The restaurant and bar decor is really smart. The food is of a high standard. Breakfast was amazing. Nice outdoor bar seating area too. Rooms are a lottery. Some are modern, some are dated. I requested to have a modern room on my second visit as the first time my room was a bit 90’s style, but was still clean and spacious. All in all, this is a great place to come to for a relaxing break. I did the dinner, bed and breakfast deal. Amazing value for money. Will be returning soon.

Amazing anniversary meal at Marco Pierre White's at Yes Lodge Hotel. Always been a great hotel so nice to see such a great restaurant arrive there. The team were all really attentive with a real passion both for the hotel and the cuisine. The food was just great, as you can see from the photos! Such a lovely touch to wish us well on our Anniversary too! :)

Really nice hotel. Stayed before an early flight really close to the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Great restaurant. Marco. Well worth a visit. Keep it up.

Fantastic service, all the personal was really friendly and helpful. Food was really good, giving the fact that I was participating in a group event. Rooms were a bit small and bathroom a bit outdated. Beds confortable and good pillows. Meeting rooms adecuated to our activity.

A non descript building with comfortable room. Shower was not great but bathroom was clean. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. Don't think you are getting a special meal at the 'Marco Pierre White' Brasserie. An average pizza for me and a decidedly 'ordinary' over crisped Macaroni Cheese for my partner. Two starters, two mains and a bottle of water for £50.00 for food that would not have met poor pub standard.

Can't fault the place, from when we first arrived the reception desk where great very welcoming, only stayed the one night but there was everything we needed. Lovely cheerful staff through out, after checking out and some hours later realised I'd lost my glasses and the hotel emailed me to say they had been found and posted them to me, great service.

Had a spa day here. Treatments and lunch excellent. Wasn't happy that there was young boys allowed in the ladies changing rooms. Tbh I was disgusted. I phoned the manager he told me they don't monitor it. Well as a mother myself I wouldn't let my 11 year old boy use the ladies changing rooms. Might be a idea Louis to monitor a bit more often.

A Decent enough hotel. I stayed for two nights and found the rooms to be clean and tidy. We did have some trouble checking in and were over charged for the room then not refunded immediately, which wasn't ideal. If you have the option try to avoid the rooms to the rear of the hotel, we found ourselves under the bottle bin which was a bit noisy throughout the evening. The gym was functional. All in all not a displeasureable experience.

Visited Reeds Health and Spa, lovely staff, Jacuzzi was brill, sauna perfect, wet room excellent, lunch was lovely. Massage was very relaxing. Can't fault it for a chilled day at a spa. Thanks all. =)

Really enjoyed the stay, the hotel is elegant and modern, The evening meal and the breakfast were lovely. The bedroom was a little small and a little outdated but would definitely return.

Lovely hotel. Very pleasant staff. Clean room. Shave the lift was out of order and room was cold mid afternoon. Amazing breakfast big bonus was no tray charge. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel needs a makeover big time! Broken elevator, worn out carpet, broken fixtures. Unimpressed with the front desk staff who were unable to even help us figure out how to make a local call.

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. The hotel has a large free carpark and is easy to find. The leisure facilities are lovely, I especially like the polar bear which provides the ice before the sauna! The food is lovely and you get a lot for your money. The rooms are clean and welcoming. They have lovely toiletries and ample tea and coffee in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room I had was fairly standard. A couple of things could have been improved, The TV wasn't working had to call reception they sent somebody up to take a look seems the remote just needed new batteries. No way to turn the TV on without the remote. Also the welcome screen on the TV when they got it working had somebody else's name on it. There was an essentials kit in the bathroom which had a nail file and earbuds and other thing in. The kit had been opened and used. A college had a trouser press in her room, however my room did not. All the staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant was good quality food and reasonably priced.

Had a meal as part of a work Christmas celebration in the Marco Pierre restaurant. Food was good although my steak was quite chewy and service took a while. However the atmosphere was brilliant, they really went out there way to ensure the experience, from party favours and crackers to even a santa hat each on the table.

We had our Xmas party here. Food wasn't that great and portions were pretty small. The decor is a little dated but what I saw of the hotel is clean and tidy.

Nice hotel, with great bar and conference facilities. The room was a little warm though with no obvious thermostat controlls. Inadequate tea and coffee facilities in room also.

Stayed here for location being close to the airport, didn't have to worry about parking my car for the week. Shuttle bus was included. However, I wouldn't stay here again. My family and I had to be up at 3am for our flight, quite noisy, the room was incredibly hot, so, so hot! I had to ask 4 times for a fan at reception whilst I appreciate for them it may not have been up on the list of importance, when paying customers can't sleep and the children are sweating it is a problem! The beds were hard, food was expensive. We are booked to stay in another hotel over the road for next year.

Lovely hotel. Executive room offer more space and usually a bath tub. Nice pool and spa facilities. Conveniently located just off the M1 with easy access to East Midlands Airport.

There for my daughter's wedding reception. It was a faultless day. The organisation by Penny (coordinator) and Mark (MC) took all stress away. The food was delicious especially as they were catering for a large sit down party. The bedrooms are comfy. All staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. Have also been there for overnight stay before and again evening meal and breakfast great.

Enjoyed a spa break here with friends. Friendly staff in all areas from housekeeping to reception. Thoroughly enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and the chap singing had a smooth voice. Bedrooms clean and offer all you could need with good quality toiletries in the bathroom, warm fluffy towels and dressing gowns and slippers for your use. Congratulations on a well run facility.

Room was clean and spacious nice bathroom. The breakfast was tasty and there was a wide selection. Only problem was there was a lot of noise coming from outside at night but there was two weddings on.

We stayed during August 2017 for an belated anniversary meal with my partner. Our package was part of a two-course meal at Marco's New York Italian restaurant followed by an overnight stay and breakfast. Also included in the deal was complementary use of the Spa facilities. The meal was superb if not a little pricey. However it made for a special night with a two-piece live singing act performing old and modern classics in a jazz style. The hotel room itself was a superior double room which was very nice — the usual complementary supplies were included along with a free bowl of fruit delivered from reception. The beds were quality and the room itself had all the required amenities such as TV, hair dryer iron and trouser press. There was a safe available and we also received two robes with fresh slippers. The Spa facilities were good although there was an out of order shower and the lockers had yet to be fully converted to the new £1 coins. There was a steam room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi,. Foot spa and ice despenser. This space became busy during the afternoon with both adults and a few children. Breakfast was quite nice, catering for a wide range of tastes with toast the pancakes. To a cooked breakfast and cereals. All in all a very plesent stay. And very close the airport. Will be going back again soon.

Clean and comfortable Hotel, restaurant valid.

Not bad, the hotel is smart and tidy with pleasant staff and communal areas. Nice little pool with jacuzzi. Breakfast in mornings was excellent with great selection of food and drink. Rooms are of a good size and nice and clean. Ventilation in rooms is awful, no forced or free air ventilation with only a window that opens. This made the room quite stuffy to sleep in as could not have window open all night due to planes taking off constantly. Convenient for airport as mentioned and loads of parking, just not great for a nights sleep.

I love this hotel, it's such a relaxing place to visit. I like it so much that my husband and I chose to have our wedding here. The new restaurant, Marco's, looks stunning, we have not yet eaten here but are planning to have our anniversary dinner there.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was superb, especially the lamb as it was full of flavour and melted in the mouth.

The rooms are a little dated and could do with modernisation. They have a smart TV which is a nice little touch but unfortunately it didn't work. The revamped restaurant is certainly better than the previous one. Breakfast is fantastic!

Wonderful place to start your holiday before catching your flight, staff are great and the food brilliant & prices are reasonable.

A very impressive hotel — Staff and Management were excellent. In very good condition ; enjoyed using the sauna etc — food was very good — Portuguese chef at breakfast was wonderful. We used it as a base for exploring Derbyshire Peaks/Dales. Would happily return.

The meeting room was pleasant, bright and clean. There was plentiful coffee and tea. Lunch was very disappointing with very basic sandwiches based around something and tomato. Some potatoe wedges and a couple of sliced paninni.

Nice hotel. Good staff. Better than I expected for a Best Western. The restaurant — Marco's — had phenomenal food! Only one downside which we found in every hotel we stayed at in the UK — no rooms with two queen beds. There were 3 of us and we needed two beds. The extra bed, in every hotel, was a terrible fold out couch with a thin and uncomfortable mattress. Of all the hotels we stayed at this hotel had the best fold out but it was still pretty awful. The hotel was perfectly situated for our needs in that iwe were able to explore Loughborough, Derby, and Nottingham on day trips. It was nice to be able to see small English towns before we went to London.

Amazing staff! Especially Amy! Made our wedding day fantastic! The food was truly amazing. We are so glad we picked this venue as they went out their way for us! So sad we can't come and do it all again! Thank you so much!

I recently stayed for two nights during a business trip. Housekeeping was excellent, room ok, but it might benefit with an air con upgrade at some point, as having the widow open means it's hard to sleep with the airport flight path overhead. Bar prices ridiculously high £9.95 for a glass of wine. The quality of the food was terrible and I suffered D&V all night, as did five of my colleagues after our dinner meeting. We all ate different food — maybe its the germs spread with the modern trend of handling every piece of food as it get to the diners plate. If I had a choice I would probably choose not to stay here again.
