It’s a fabulous hotel, it has been renovated over the last few years, and work continues to make this a top venue to hire for all occasions and a great place to stay. A weekend away for a friends 70 birthday. Two coaches of mixed ages. The hotel could not have done enough for us all. Fantastic food, helpful staff and a great atmosphere.

Stayed here for a Dance weekend with Hart and Soul School of Dance. Lovely food, friendly staff. Lovely dance floor and amenities.

The hotel is busy having a new frontage built but that hasn’t stopped the excellent service that the staff provide. The food is excellent and entertainment is provided every night.

Helpful friendly staff, clean comfortable bedrooms beautiful decor, very nice breakfast and evening meal. Close to shops and amenities the evening entertainment was really good during the Christmas festivities too.

We had a lovely time here (Monday to Friday). Lovely buffet breakfast, magnificent 5 course dinner each night, and great evening entertainment. All the staff (cleaners, dinning room, bar, kitchen, and reception) were very good and helpful. I also used the swimming pool, it was very nice. There is also a gym which I did not use.

Our recent stay could not have been better, the hotel was wam omfortable and welcoming, our room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed, the staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful, and the food was delicious and plentiful, in all we had a most enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning.

Decor in my room left a lot to be desired. Although generally the hotel was reasonable certain areas could do with a good clean.

Very dated decor. The room size was decent. The breakfast was of poor quality (cheap, bland, pale sausages and the coffee was undrinkable) and not so much choice. There was lots of noise from drunk people in the early hours and the night manager was quite rude. Only reason it wasn't 1 star was because the guys at check in and checkout were polite and helpful. Wouldn't recommend.

Not great, was modern once but now the room was stuffy, out of date, not very clean and a place to get out of. It's not horrible, just a bit tired. The staff are nice. One more for their traditional customers than new young ones.

Sat on the main road, I thought oh oh, but it was really quiet, with limited parking.
Once it got round to our turn to check in, it was a smooth process, even able to park the car before our check in time.
Room was at the back of the hotel with it's own patio, very clean, only thing that let it down was the en-suite in general and the shower in
particular.
On a warm sunny day we of course used the bar, no more or less expensive than any other hotel.
Our package included dinner, was dissapointed that it was restricted to one sitting at 19:00, but don't let that detract from the food which was
not only delicious but the portions were a good size, the waiter, who wore many hats, was attentive but we didn't feel rushed.
The room was functional for an overnight stay, and after a reasonable nights sleep the breakfast was good, but limited in comparison to others.
Checkout was seamless.

Typical seaside hotel formed from conversation and extension of private houses. Internally a bit of a rabbit warren. Well placed for all local amenities being within walking distance of the town centre and the resort area.

Very nice stay, good food would recommend. Listen for the quirky floor boards adds a bit of character to an old building.

The hotel is lovely. We had a lovely room with a massive bed. The room could have been cleaner as there was fluff on the skirting boards and dead flies and fluff in the glass lampshades and the occasional table needed the top wiping but the bed and bathroom were very clean. The food was very good, beautifully presented and tasty and the waiting staff were very efficient. We had a lovely weekend and met some wonderful people.

Visited Clifton Park Hotel for a Club lunch around 50 attended. Both the food and service where excellent.

Have just stayed for the tinsel and Turkey event at the Clifton Park. I can honestly say that it is not to be missed. Kind and helpful staff make your experience all the better. They are friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. With entertainment every night and food to die for. I can highly recommended this establishment.

Just had 1920s weekend at the Clifton Park. Staff were very helpful & friendly the food was excellent and the room was really clean. The room I had was very hot was told that the corridor was above the kitchen area. Overall excellent stay will certainly return.

The staff are very helpful and pleasing to talk to. The room I was in was suitable for me. Nice and clean.
The pool spa and gym are a bonus.
The evening meal has a varied menu. The bar has a good choice of drinks.

Friendly staff, our room was very clean and well maintain during our five day stay. The indoor pool was in good condition. The public areas were light and airy. There was a very good range of food offered at dinner and it was tasty and well presented. The entertainment suited us and Jamie Walker the entertainment manager endevoured to ensure all guests were keep informed and entertained.

Magnificent, what a beautiful place, immaculately clean and inviting, has a style and elegance rarely seen anymore, with extremely friendly an accommodating staff and that 'home away from home' feel, delicious food cooked perfectly, this was my first visit but I certainly hope to return in fact after three nights here I didn't want to leave x.

Just returned home from our yearly weekend away at The Clifton Park Hotel. Fantastic time, the staff are fabulous and the hotel is excellent, and Jamie had us in stitches… see you all next year.

Stayed at this hotel from friday till monday and what an experience that was it was absolutely fabulous staff were excellent could not do enough for you jamie you were so so funny we had a blast hope to repeat the holiday again thanks everyone say hello to derek xx.

My partner and I went to Cliffton Park Hotel and found a relaxing, clean, friendly, food good, rooms are spacious staff were very help full, will be back soon. Thank you.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the hotel. The room that my partner and I was allocated was extremely small and the bathroom miniscule. The bathroom had no window and the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn't working. I did report this failure of the fan to the receptionist who said that it hadn't worked for some time! The room could only be accessed by quite a walk and there was no lift to this area of the hotel. This was difficult at times as one of the people I was with found this and the stairs to the 1st floor difficult. The room was rather dated and could do with refurbishing. The self-service breakfast was good with plenty of choice, the waiters were helpful and attentive. On the plus side there was a lovely indoor pool and Jacuzzi and there was a small sitting out area which we were able to use, especially as the weather was gorgeous. The staff on duty on Sunday placed a large screen in the lounge which allowed residents to watch the Wimbledon final if they wished. I did notice today that when two elderly ladies booked in it was too early for them to have access to their room. The receptionist on duty said that they could put their cases under the stairs until the room was ready as there was no room there they were then told they could put them in a small dining room. The receptionist made no effort to help them and I helped them with their cases. Both of these ladies had walking sticks so was a bit difficult for them.
