Booked 4 of our employees in here a few weeks ago — all in seperate rooms and paid in advance for 4 nights. The 4 guys turned up to find someone there had changed the booking to just 1 room. They managed to then find another room so 2 guys had to share 2 rooms for the first night. No big problem really, but trying to get a refund for 2 rooms paid for but not provided on the first night is like pulling teeth. I've sent a number of emails to them, had a promise of a refund from Angela the manager — that was almost 2 weeks ago. 2 more emails have just not been answered. Our site foreman called in last week as was nearby — lady on reception seemed totally uninterested — took a message but still not heard from them. Come on Premiere Inn you can do better than this.

Very friendly staff, nice clean room as usual and wonderful food, can't fault it and would recommend to anyone.

Usual premier inn quality. Clean and helpful staff. New rooms, however I don’t like the new pillows, too big, I prefer the older style flatter ones, even the spare in the wardrobe which are supposed to be flatter are not, I couldn’t tell the difference between the two types. The brewers fayre next door where breakfast is served is again the usual whitbread quality.

Very pleasant service by the staff and all very helpful. I was in the far end rooms near the main road even though internal windows could hear the main road but everything else was good.

Easy access from M6. Got a good night's sleep. Very clean and quiet.

Hotel is fine. However, not ideal in the summer because there is no air conditioning. You can have the windows open and road noise or roast. Still, how often do we get super hot weather?

Clean, pretty convenient for centre. Staff very attentive. Breakfast next door great value and welcoming for a night cap.

Good customer service, clean rooms, and comfy bed. Didn't have any soap in the room when we got there, but was quickly sorted by staff. Unfortunately had an awful night's sleep due to the heat, and the pedestal fan in the room was useless to say the least, in the way of only gently blowing hot air around the room. Can't open the windows more than a few inches, I'm guessing due to safety concerns, but also don't have the option of asking staff to allow them to be opened further, resulting in a HOT room with no way of truly cooling down.

Good value for money. Clean and tidy room with plenty of space. Only complaint is that the duvet was very heavy and probably not suitable for everyone.

Great Premier Inn; was clean, comfortable with a Brewers Fayre next door so a perfect stop over whilst making a journey. Stayed in a family room with our 9 month old.

The premier inn Lancaster is perfectly situated in Lancaster for pleasure and business visits. The rooms as usual are very clean, tidy and full of amenities. The hotel has a pub on site which is good value for money.

Handily located just off the M6, its about 30 mins walk in to central Lancaster. The staff were very friendly and helpful… the rooms were the usual Premier Inn high quality and full size Premier Inn rooms, not one of the slightly shrunk ones. We'd happily stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights christmas eve and Christmas day room 303 top floor fantastic staff (considering they were working over the xmas period) christmas morning santa arrived with a stocking full of chocolates courtesy of the management

Quality is getting worse, and needs updated heating. Also we noticed that the cleaning is also getting worse. Premier Inn used to be great, but we are looking at other alternatives for short stays!

A good Premier Inn in a good location, just off the M6 and close to the Lakes. We use them frequently and found this to be a good one. As usual very clean and pleasant rooms, and a friendly team. The adjacent Brewer's Fayre restaurant is also nice, friendly team again.

Car park was very busy and pleased we got there early as those arriving later could not get parked. We were put on the 3rd floor and lift was out of order found it hard going up all the stairs as l am disabled. Corridors were smelly once inside room it smelt foisty especially the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Went into the brewers fayre next to it service very slow. Wanted gluten free vegetarian food waited for someone to bring the book that contained all ingredients on their menu out to us nobody did we had to ask again. Not a lot of choice for veggie gluten free had to pick a few sides asked for them on one plate to make a meal up. When it eventually came out it was barely warm. Will not be returning again. Very disappointing. Next time will try Holiday Inn across the road.

Was so tired was glad to stop! Comfortable room lovely bath. Usual noises kids running up and down corridors but other than that peaceful.

Lift was out of order when we arrived and I doubt it will be fixed before we go. As my wife is asthmatic climbing to the second floor proved difficult (although we did receive assistance with the baggage, to be fair. However we weren't offered any change to a ground floor room. For a place this size to only have one lift is surprising. To have it out of order for (at least) four days is really not acceptable. On the up-side rooms were clean and comfortable and the place very quiet. It was again let down by the lack of an intercom phone and worse still no air conditioning. Room temperature is achieved by wall thermostat and electric wall heater, floor-standing fan or opening a window! I guess you get what you pay for and in that sense the place delivers — fairly standard chain hotel fare — but the lift being out of service and no air-con wasn't up to standards you'd expect. Would we stay here again? Yes but the life better work!

Good well priced accommodation, excellent food and drink and lots of it…

Staff friendly and helpful, location for breaking journey from Scotland very good. Only negatives were odd small things — no remote control for TV in the room so I had to go back to reception to get one; bath which didn't drain so by the end of my shower I was ankle deep in water, that sort of thing. Overall, and given the bigger problems in the world, I'm not going to claim that I was left scarred by the experience, though it does mean there is room for improvement.

The inimitable Premier Inn experience, which seems to have improved in terms of bed and bath linen. The sheets were cotton, and towels of decent size and quality. The room was clean and pleasant. The only slight downside was that our room (101) was close to some sort of water or heating/air-conditioning plant that regularly turned on and off. It was a deep, low-level hum but I'm sensitive to sound so had to resort to earplugs and white noise.

We checked in this hotel two weeks ago and upon arrival in the bathroom there was a uncovered sanitary towel in the bathroom bin which had not been removed. This left a horrendous stench in our room which we reported to reception who thankfully came immediately and removed it straight away. I'm still confused as to how this sanitary towel was left there and the cleaners did not pick it up after the last guests checked out. The experience as you can appreciate left a distasteful memory for this hotel with us. Positives: good location.

After a late check-in, we were greeted by a neat and cosy room. To date I have never had a bad room from this chain of hotels and look forward to the next stay.

As much as you expect from premier inn. Very high quality. No complaints. Great value. Great if you also have a car.

Lovely large room to myself, temperature comfy. No Aircon but a fan if it get stuffy. Would use again!

Rooms ok with comfy beds. Bit cramped with 2 kids. Some trouble getting a cot in room despite confirming twice.

Good location near M6 and not too noisy. No air-conditioning made the room a little stuffy but we were supplied with 2 fans. Still better than Travelodge.

Warm and comfortable. Excellent facilities and very glad to see that baths have been retained! Thoroughly enjoyed stay and hence recommended.

Premier inn staff very pleasant and helpful. Room perfect as usual. As it was Easter small chocolates left on kids beds which was lovely. Downside to our stay was had a evening meal in restaurant main course lovely waited 45 mins for for puddings and ended up cancelling them! Breakfast was so disorganised. No cups. No glasses. No dishes. No spoons. Guests were just waiting around trying to get a dish or a spoon etc. Best thing about restaurant was the fantastic play area which my little one loved. Would stay there again x.

The hotel has been given some general refurbishment recently, and it now looks much nicer. Rooms are still very pleasant, with big comfy beds, good bathroom facilities, and free Wi-Fi access. The only negative is the terrible breakfast at the attached Brewers Fayre… Miserable staff, the buffet cooked breakfast was cold and tasteless, and ridiculously expensive at £8.99! Premier Inn need to refresh this place soon!

Room was clean and well presented as usual for Premier Inn. Large wall mounted TV in room. Staff were courteous and efficient. Ample parking.

Road noise is not an issue. Being directly next to the pub is great. The rooms are very high quality. The only minor downside is no air con but there is an air cooler which worked well in december.

Excellent night sleep, would stay again.

One of the best Premier Inn's. Out of the way but worth the distance for the quietness and nice clean rooms. Great views aswell.

This review concerns the poor quality of the restaurant. When I order a simple meal of sausage and chips I don't expect to wait over an hour for my food, I also don't expect to receive the wrong meal and when I finally get the meal I ordered I certainly don't expect to have undercooked sausages and overcooked chips. To compensate for the awful service and food the restaurant offered to pay for the meal however this was after wasting an hour and a half of my time so in hindsight I wish I had gone anywhere else but here.

Another trip away, another premier inn. Cheap, clean tidy and friendly. Easy to find. What more could one want.
