The decor was out dated. The shower and toilet where dirty. The curtains where hanging off. There is no where to park if your British White. The breakfast was a Polish b/f. Glad I only stayed one night.

Very nice and friendly hotel, little breakfast bites, free Wi-Fi and good for the kids! Broken furniture though and tiny shower but what can you expect in Blackpool for £34? Very good if you want to take the kids for the weekend. Rating is based on value for money.

It was OK for what they charged clean as well and nice people not far from the beach.

BEWARE! An absolute joke. Dirty room. No parking because they had people camping out on the parking spaces. Cost us 7.50 to park at a car park up the road. Wanted to check out an hour later and they wanted an extra £10! Bed uncomfy. Dirty stained carpets. Blood and dirt on walls. Never again.

Arrived and there was no parking outside although was offered £4 towards car park across the road £7.50 for 24 hours which wasn’t bad. Breakfast is continental so didn’t have it but for the price we paid I wouldn’t expect much more. Rooms were clean and what you would expect decent stay would go back.

We lasted twenty minutes, the rooms were not like in the pictures. There was 240 volt live wires exposed from a light fitting next to my seven year old son's bed. If he had of touched them he would have been dead. The draws fell apart, the wardrobe was broken, the bathroom extraction fan was hanging off the wall. The curtains were hanging off, the shower glass door nearly fell off and hit my son. The Wi-Fi didn't work properly… I could go on… I got a refund and left. Wasn't happy.

No heating in room what so ever and it was very cold. They gave us a heater that only last 35 seconds then it turned off itself.

Stayed one night clean enough and good size family ensuite room with a good breakfast.

Had a room here last night paid 37 bar there was damp in room radiator falling off wall bottom of wardrobe fallen out no fry up no bar didnt see any staff only on and my dad lost his disabled chicken.

Clean and tidy no bar and bed to small.

This 4 stars are for a good breakfast, we felt that we paid for the breakfast and got a free room with it. It's an old building that needs renovating but the sheets and towels were clean, the staff was nice and the Wi-Fi was good. I don't think we can complain when we paid only £46/night for a family room of 4 with a good breakfast. The Hotel it's close to the beach as well.

Amazing! The host's were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble! The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The bed was soooo comfortable and the crisp white bedding was a joy to sleep in. You couldn't ask for more! Ok… the decor may not be to everyone's taste, but the important things I couldn't fault! The location is fantastic. Minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Blackpool. The continental breakfast was varied and plentiful. Just what's needed to set you up for the day. I loved my stay and will be back!

I didn't think it was going to be very good as the reviews weren't favourable. However, on arrival we were greeted with friendly smiles and nothing was too much trouble. We entered room 10 and were blown away! It was clean and serviceable. Yes the decor is tired but when I was asleep in a large comfortable bed I didn't see or care. I was warm comfortable and the bed linen was clean and smelled fresh. A cracking nights sleep followed by a fantastic continental breakfast. The choice was Good, the food tasted good and our hostess buzzed about replenishing the buffet, and was so polite and attentive to the needs of her guests. I would avoid this place. Booked here for 3 adults 1 kid and the rooms for £100 for 1 night! Definitely not worth it! £50 for this would have still have been over priced only good thing was the beds looked clean. The toilet!? If that's what you can call it! 'Mrs Brown' had a bigger one under her stairs! Myself (being 17 weeks pregnant) struggled to get on to the toilet as it was restricted by the hand basin and my stepdad couldnt sit on it atall! And the mould on the ceiling was disgusting. After a night out visiting family we got back to discover there was no parking available either in the 'free parking' (witch is literally 4-5 spaces! ) Or any where local we could park. So we had the choice of leaving the car on double yellows and reciving a parking ticket or get towed ect or make the 3 hour drive home! Witch of course resulted in us having to leave around 12/1am with a very distraught 5 year old we boy who Was gutted he couldn't stay for a shot of the shows ect in the morning! Not happy atall! ❗❗ AVOID THIS PLACE ❗❗

Absolutely disgusted not what it says on booking. Com. Booked a double room with single bed and on arrival got 3 single beds tiny cramped dirty room granddaughter Sat on single bed and it sunk in. When approaching staff about this was given abrupt attitude that was totally unnecessary, was given another room with a double bed and a single bed the single bed mattress was to big for the Base and the springs were bust. Nets full of holes and went to close curtains and fell of the rail the wardrobe door didn't shut, the bathroom door didn't shut, the hot tap was actually the cold and the top of the tap came off shower cubicle had pipes sticking out of the wall sink moved when you touched it and no hooks to hang anything, no towel rail or toilet rollholder, Shelf provided was to high to make cups of tea on, double bed had no headboard and very uncomfortable the whole room was dirty wallpaper hanging off and bits missing never slept in such a hovel, (didn't sleep). The breakfast was not a cooked breakfast but a continental which is alright if you like that we were expecting a cooked breakfast and had to go to a cafe for breakfast which was more cost. Will never stay here again.

Friendly staff. How ever there is NOT parking available for all customers and you have to pay £7.50 over the road for 24hrs. Don't expect the hotel manager to be available to refund you, your parking costs, despite their false advertisement. (I have it on good authority, that they tried to change it on the website and where just unable to… hmmm, they may wish to try harder). The rooms are not as advertised and full of damp and mould, not to mention the holes in the walls, and electric heaters hanging above the bed! You couldn't swing a cat for the "space" in the triple room. Essentially you are paying for the privilege of staying in a hovel. On the plus side the sheets are clean, and the continental breakfast is all you can eat and rather enjoyable, (but lets face it you can't really mess up toast and croissants). It would be really nice if this place was as advertised, as the staff are lovely, and very friendly. However as it stands I would not willingly part with my money to stay in the damp mouldy room again. If they could sort out the rooms, and ensure all are as advertised, and look to refund the cost of parking or advertise it correctly, then I have no doubt it has potential for being a nice little hotel. Until thexn, save your money and look else where.

Room was small and not clean and staff was rude don't talk to you that much breakfast was rubbish and cakes was out of date and if u don't get there in morning you don't get car park space and fan in bathroom with lots of dust.

Worst hotel I have stayed in left 1 day early with my 10 year old son, a coat of paint wouldn't go a miss or a Hoover, bed was clean thank God or would have walked out PLEASE AVOID.

Great location, nice and clean, lovely staff.

Paid £127 for four nights as it was — 60% on sale from more than £280 so thought it was a good deal and not a cheap place. Tiny room, ripped out wallpaper, broken toilet seat, broken tiny bedside table, mould on the ceiling, leaking shower, holes in carpet, broken — taped up TV. Breakfast included the cheapest 'continental' foods, it really shouldn't be called that, as it was far from appetising, And my two year old was supposed to stay in that appalling room. So complained to the management who was very helpful, moved us to another room, not much difference, but at least there was no mould. Another broken toilet seat and leaking shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the only positive note on the stay. But would absolutely never, under no circumstances stay there EVER again. Very much regretted not going for a more pricey one and actually enjoy my stay in stead of being forced to stay in a thing that's supposed to be called a hostel in stead of a 3 star hotel.

Stayed here last weekend with my Mum and Grandma. We payed £80 for a Thursday-Sat stay and I can't compliment this place enough. The hosts were so lovely and I'm sorry I didn't catch their names! Our room was pristine! And the beds were so so comfy. They said they had not even had the hotel a year yet and they plan to decorate, the breakfast was amazing and they even offered to cater for my gluten intolerance! 10/10. We will be staying here again. And another positive it's a 10 mins walk to the sea front! Thankyou!

Excellent hotel for the price we paid. Family room (2 adults and 2 children) with full English breakfast all for £75. All within 5 minutes walk to the centre of time. What made it better was when one of the party (me) badly hurt themselves during the day — not at the hotel it needs to be said — the concern the owners had was outstanding. Would highly recommend the establishment.

The owners/staff are absolutely amazing. Very nice people! For the price per night which includes breakfast it's excellent.

Selina fave me directions over the phone when I couldn't find the hotel. Room en suite covers and towels clean and comfortable. Breakfast fine continental but varied choice. Close to the promenade but quiet location. The man even gave my daughter a ice cream and cake upon arrival. Was allowed to leave my luggage after checking out too as my train wasn't later on to that day. Will definately be back. Lovely friendly staff.

The owner operator works EXTREMELY hard for clients. I wasn't sure what to expect in Blackpool. The service at the Tulip Hotel made me decide to stay an extra day. A very affordably priced, modest hotel. Close to the action, but not too close… Cosy rooms with every comfort you'll need.

I stayed in the hotel 19/03/2016, the staff was rude. i wouldn't stop there again, after stopping there and returning home I noticed I've got a large rash on my left hand and been bit by a flea on my right arm.

Absolutely Shocking, we have stayed in lots of b+bs, guest houses and hotels in Blackpool, and I can honestly say, The Tulip has helped to tarnish the good people of Blackpool, The Manager has the manners of a pig, He is not fit to run anything where the public are concerned, I would recommend sleeping under the pier before staying at the TULIP, to be insulted by this HORRIBLE SPECIMEN OF A HUMAN BEING, You have been warned,

I was a victim of fraud by this hotel.

I would say not a three star more like a two! Cups in room not clean, Floor not hovered, very dated, carpets riped. Also needed a good old dust down. First thing I notice when I walked in the door. If I could put photos up I would! Also seagulls landing on the roof you can hear every time they walk around. The bed was fine.
