This is the worst place I have ever stayed. My partner booked me a An her a room to celebrate my birthday. The room was nothing like what the owners had put on there website. The bed was broken. An there was no kettle in the room as requested. The code for the front door didn’t work I had to phone my partner to let me in. The place looked like a doss hole.

If luxury is what you seek, A place to unwind for the week. The Maydor with its handsome price, May tempt, but please heed my advice. Online the pictures look okay, "Well made rooms" you're bound to say. But trust me, once that you are there, Rooms like these will seem quite rare. Dingy lighting, creaking stairs, Ensure you travel round in pairs. Mouldy bathrooms, barely room, In which to contemplate your doom. Antique beds, with sheets unwashed, By now our hopes and dreams were quashed. Unsightly mess at every turn, Of home we all began to yearn. "These rooms are never cleaned", we thought, In that place God knows what we caught. Decades worth of grime and dust, Make one-star ratings seem quite just. And last but not least there's the smell. It's hard to find the words to tell. It makes you nauseous, makes you heave, Makes you ill and keen to leave. So in the end, please beware, You're now informed and well aware. Book with an open mind and pray, You'll live to see another day.

We booked the hotel last weekend we arrived around 6 went into our room the room wasnt clean but we just went stright out we got back that night everything was fine went out for the day sataurday, me my partner and children was having a meal and I got a phone call telling me to come back to the hotel now as the police needed to check my room so I passed the phone to my partner who wasnt very happy. As we made our way back we arrvived to the fella who owed the hotel telling me the police have booted the room door off were me and my children and parnter was staying to find some1 who was in the hotel last week whitch is a big lie. We then started to pack our stuff and asked for a refund as we paid for 2 nights and only stayed 1 he sed he would put the money in my bank within 3 days still no money has being put in? no way I could stay with my 2 girls they was so upset. I would advise everybody to avoid this hotel it might be cheap but it isnt clean and having police kick the door off is not on atall more to the story then they are saying AVOID!

Inexpensive city centre accommodation. Short walk from sea front.

The worst hotel ever. Very dirty would not recommend for family with little ones the rooms were not even cleaned and stinks when move in had to move to another hotel.

Well don’t know why this place is a 3 star because it doesn’t live up to it the room was dirty would of been better of sleeping on street as there more cleaner looked like they just remade the bed door didn’t lock we had to sort it out ourselves there was empty toilet roll tubes on floor in bathroom hairs in plugs of sink and shower we opened draws to put our stuff in but changed mind and soon shut it when we saw it was dirty and not been cleaned the walls are so thin we heard people having sex in the shared bathroom We had no coffee tea etc and when we called up for them they brought it up on a tray that was full of crumbs and yet more hairs the milk was in a glass with little black bits of fluff I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone we also found bed bugs in the bed and on the floor, couldn’t get a good night sleep whatsoever been up all night with all because thinking about all the dirt.

The chap that seen to us was very helpful and really nice. I thought the place was ok for a no frills b&b. Got to our rooms and I was in the ensuite thought ok but the bathroom was disgusting no towels the floor was duey and the room needed a good clean. The other room well you couldn't even open the door for the bed and my daughter found hairs in the bed just disgusting. We were booked to have breakfast and went down in the morning for 930 signs on the door manager has been called away txt if u need anything. Then about 940 a chap came thru and made breakfast. It want the best they had no butter for toast and I was there with my 4 kids the cups came out with pink lip stick marks on it and that gave me the boak. I got up and we left. Honestly I wish I never went and people do not look at the photos as it doesn't look like that.

For money a paid it was exactly what a was expecting a no frills b&b the same as the rest of the b&bs in blackpool clean enough bunk beds for kids double bed for adults TV and very good Wi-Fi that's it.

Well we arrived 2 rooms not ready we didn't mind, when they were omg floor not hovered poo on toilet urine stains on pedestal shower filthy. Our daughter and son in law room no kettle no staff around to ask. We paid for breakfast to go down 9am message on door manager been called away text if need anything will try to get back to you, We saw member of staff asked about breakfast looked vacant said we'll have our breakfast money back to be told can't do that as manager doesn't want to be woke up Do not go there it's a dump would of had more hospitality in a vacant house with squatters. Bloody awful place.

Stinks of piss and chips absolutely no where for a family to sleep beds are creekier than a home from the 1600 no chance of having a good night with local prostitute without anyone hearing you the walls are caved in wallpaper my great nan might have been intrested in the carpet is a right tripster when your off your nut dust is thicker than a smack rat would not recommend this if you've got kids cos there's no where for the poor sods to sleep windows are wooden fallen apart and only has one hinge got to keep farting to keep the room air cond it's run by some scruffs dressed in tapout tops the beds give you a bed sores as soon as you lay down and the pillows are shite was like laying on my mams cracker toilet is a foot be a foot my brothers turds were bigger than full room they have one iron to the full hotel and it just leakes water you go in the shower cleaner than you come out looks and feels like it's going to come off the wall and ejaculate into your eye balls this is not suitable for no one other than a crack head.

Maydor is a really dirty run down place will never stay there again. Bad service.

Dont go to this hotel it is ran by crack heads and alcoholics the beds are stained smells funny and the mamgers argue with each and swear.

This B&B is awful… dirty, smelly, no TV or Wi-Fi! The deluxe family room is nothing of the sort! It's tiny with bunk beds. Rubbish left in the drawers including medication! Nowhere ready for breakfast! Not that we would have eaten it. Wet towels in the bathroom… just awful! We had a 6 and 2 year old with us. We could not stay it was so bad so had to cut the trip short! Very disappointed! I would not recommend at all!

Worst place I've every had too stay was booked for 3 nights with my husband and 2 kids. Tiny room for all 4 shower that did not work and no Wi-Fi working … very run down and a bit off a dump … avoid this place if you've got kids …

Friendly service, comfy enough beds and near enough to the pubs. Useful if you just want a place to lie down after a night of drinking. No breakfast, no showers, no bar, not enough space, decoration outdated… Bit shaggy and unloved looking.

HIghly recommended, lovely staff, very friendly, very clean rooms, looked after my luggage after I checked out too!, Would definitely book again. Thanks to Chris & staff for making us feel welcome.

Enjoy going in while having a few scoops… The place is a good laugh and even got me up and singing!
