Booked a last minute stay over in Blackpool to watch the illuminations and visit the pleasure beach. Booked the Sherwood late afternoon just for one night (wished they’d have had another night available). What a lovely little gem of a place, absolutely spotless (always a must for me) and such a warm welcome from our hosts Lynne and Steve. The room was perfect with a lovely en suite bathroom and comfortable beds. Sat chatting with a lovely family in the bar in the evening (hi Caitlain) with such a friendly atmosphere and lovely red wine Woke up to the best breakfast with endless supplies of fresh fruit, fresh fruit juice, great coffee and a cooked breakfast! Great value for money. Will look forward to staying here again, hopefully sometime soon.

Stayed here twice last year and the year before twice to watch Walsall play Blackpool but what a fantastic guest house lovely couple who own it can’t wait to come here again for a great weekend definitely staying here again.

A really warm welcome from Steve and Lyn on arrival. We were also able to check in early which was helpful. Our room was very clean & comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and ample. Everyone was very helpful and nothing too much trouble. I would highly recommend staying here and will do so again in the future.

Stayed here 26/10/18 is a lovely hotel superbly ran. The hosts were great. Nice breakfast and great hospitality. Couldn't recommend it enough. 5 minute walk to the main stretch aswell.

Nice and clean great breakfast wonderful staff would stay again only thing I can fault is the shower wasn't that great really enjoyed our stay here.

Go to the Sherwood hotel every year. The people that own it are great the hospitality is great. Perfect food morning and night. Rooms are a good size with all on sweet bathrooms and TV. There is a bar. Pool table and a TV room open till late great fun at the Sherwood. Try it a out can't go wrong.

My partner and I had a good time at the hotel. The owners are friendly and chatty. The room was ok, bed was comfy and we did sleep like rocks, only thing about the room is maybe update the decor. Breakfast was quick, hot and tasty. Where is was positioned is handy to walk into town.
Overall a good experience :)

Been to the sherwood 3 times now and will continue to keep coming back owners are really friendly the place is really well kept and the breakfast is first rate can recommend very highly.

Visited here yesterday. Lovely clean hotel very friendly staff, breakfast spot on. Would highly recommend and will definitely book to stay here again.

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend whilst attending The Summer Bash. Our bedroom was adequate with a shower /bathroom ensure. Tea and coffee making facilities and television too. Our breakfast was excellent with fresh melon and strawberries on offer followed by full English or other choices. Our hosts were lovely and friendly and will definitely be returning.

Without a doubt, the ONLY place you need to stay when visiting Blackpool! Stevie and Lynn do an amazing job making sure all their guests have a great time. Really laid back geniune people. Breakfast is fantastic. We have stayed several times and will most definately be back. Thank you for your hospitality xx.

Come every year to this hotel and really enjoy it. Staff are really friendly and the food is proper home cooked meals.

Friendly atmosphere great food centrally located.

Owners were very friendly n could drop bags off earlier, we stayed on top floor n room was very small the bedding was clean bt the shower needed a good clean, breakfast was nice.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy and very welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic. Would recomend to anyone and would stay again no problem.
