It is very noise at the night from other lodgers. I could not sleep until3am due to noise.

Family who own and run it were very accommodating and helpful for a woman on her own in wheelchair couldn’t have asked for more or better. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection I will Definately be paying them another visit.

Great staff very helpful room was lovely nice clean hotel my child is disabled and they were so helpful askin if we need anything defintly go back again.

First of all they opened on Friday the 4th of July when hotels weren't meant to be open. We got room 21 and the place was damp and could smell mould and to top it off their was holes in the ceiling and a mouse poking its head through the ceiling so after trying to find the hotel staff they tried to deny it even though my partner has got the video and trying to show the staff they still denied even though they got us out the room within seconds. And then eventually got moved to room 25 were the shower doesnt even work properly their is no pressure in the shower and takes about 30mimutes for the heat to come through. Safe to say I won't be back to the oaklea Hotel and wouldn't recommend anyone going here for overnight.

Open on the 3rd July 2020 which they shouldn't have opened to the 4th July 2020 due to lockdown in England to which the owner was very rude and demanded we stayed in our room's for a full day with toddler's and young children…
Windows in all 5 bedroom's we had booked where absolutely disgusting, no new towels for the full 3 night's of staying or changing of bed's… the shower well that was just a walk in spiderweb & didn't even have hot water… The wardrobe had leftover chocolate from previous guests… Tv didn't work & all the walls where as thin as a piece of paper so could hear everything… WORST OF ALL
After both staff members witnessing the video I had taken which clearly shows a white mouse with it's eyes & nose poking through the ceiling a number of times in room 21 staff quickly denied & said it was just dust which he then brought out which was grey & black! After them checking for themselves they instantly pushed us out the room into a different room within seconds of them being in the room 21 as they clearly knew something wasn't right! No pool table or bar due to no licence… false advertising at it's best with this hotel & wouldn't let anyone stay at this hotel don't be fooled by the good reviews it's clearly fake account's!

Nice clean hotel, tidy spacious room, friendly staff and reasonable prices made me give it a 10/10 … recommended.

Good value for money and close to most attractions friendly staff.

Had a fab time, the hospitality was excellent, room was lovely and service was spot on, will be looking forward to many future stays.

No entertainment boreing atmosphere wouldint stay again! not worth the price deffintly be booking some were else next year staff were friendly on arrival and leaving.

Unprofessionally handled a situation, left our train tickets on the side all weekend and magically disappears when their cleaners come in? when we told them we have no way of getting home as we haven’t got enough money, the owner just shrugged.

I liked this place. The bed was very comfortable and I slept through the night. I couldn't get internet in the room and it only worked downstairs. The breakfast was ok, although I would like more variety, e. G. Croissants, baguettes, fresh fruit etc. I might come again as it was a bargain and they had friendly staff.

I’m can never find the worst service ever. Their ‘deluxe room’ considered a boarded up window. We were only offered one key yet when we asked for another we couldn’t not have one; this cause a problem as I came in later than friend. ON the door it says to ring a number in canes you can’t gain entry. I suffered no end of abuse from the staff that won’t let me get a word in edgeways. My brother is staying here this weekend but in a completely different hotel, without breakfast; without staffing Nd his room is absolutely perfect. How rude of these people to treat us like this!

Whent with family last week it's really very good please room very comfortable. Buffet breakfast was amazing.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights between the 2nd and the 8th July. The best thing about this hotel is the main guy on reception. Is ia so friendly and welcoming and really easy to get on with. I had to ask for fresh bowls and cutlery EVERY day I stayed. The cleaners didn't even take away the dirty ones so I had to ask for this to be done or take it downstairs myself. The rooms are very basic but mine was clean. The bad side to the hotel was that you could hear everything, including next doors toilet flushing and their conversations. I got woken up nearly every night due to noise.

Me and my husband Stayed for 4 nights the rooms was absolutely lovely the staff are brilliant warm and welcoming we will definitely be booking again to stay.

Only there for two nights staff friendly. Not happy with the rooms or the shower. Needs a good refurbishment and cleaning ☹

Lovely hotel breakfast was not very nice but room and hotel was lovely will go back again.

Stayed here for a night with my partner. Was made to feel so welcome & nothing was a issue. Asked if we could have a late checkout & the manager was absolutely fine with that. Will be staying again in the future.

Very friendly staff, warm room which was perfect for winter, great access to Blackpool town centre both for shopping and for the evening / night life.

Solid accommodation in a lovely location. Family run 2 star hotel that was definitely the bees knees in the 80s. The run down social club decor is tacky homely and charming. Great staff and service and absolutely no complaints about the rooms or food. The breakfast was what I would expect from a buffet breakfast, not the best full English in the world, but certainly enough to set you up for the day. I will stay again. Big up yourself.
