Came this weekend for my 30th, we had a lovely sea view room, it was all very clean and comfortable, wasn’t expecting the room too be as nice as it was considering the reviews and how cheap it was for 3 adults for 2 nights…
The lady on reception is a absolute credit too the hotel… so welcoming and accommodating. Really lovely,
And the man on the bar in the evening was so nice. Friendly and talkative… always greeting you with a smile and a hello even when just passing through the bar… both making the stay even more enjoyable! …
Breakfast was nice… with a relaxed atmosphere! …
There was a mixup with our check out time due too booking. Com saying our check out time would be 11am… but it was actually 10am. But the staff was so lovely about the confusion. We wasn’t rushed or forced out of our room, we just left our room as quickly as possible when we realised we was over staying our booking.
Will definitely be returning next year!

All the staff were amazing. Food was very good. Rooms nice and spacious. Special thanks to areej and John in reception nothing was to much trouble. And taz in the bar. We will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, we rented out the swimming pool and it was very clean and lovely and warm.

Just returned home today after a lovely weekend away staff very friendly from reception to cleaners bars staff and dining room nothing was too much trouble great service rooms clean and tidy great sanitation in place and following government guidelines.

After couple of hiccups, which were sorted very quickly, our stay was brilliant, breakfast was 5 star and the staff were fabulous.
it is a no frills hotel, and great value for money.
Well done to all the staff in difficult times.

Just arrived back today what a brilliant time we have had, lovely staff very welcoming atmosphere food was good social distancing in place plenty of sanitizers in place following government guidelines well done to all the staff x.

from the minute we arrived the service was great very welcoming very helpful.
The room was lovely and newly decorated. Beds was so comfortable.
My son really enjoyed the sea view the swimming pool is lovely was nice to have a swim. this is our 3rd visit to this hotel and will visit again

Very poor service. Booked & was told the room would be a double bed with bunk beds & sea view. Arrived & was told that room was no longer available & was put in a room with 5 single beds — no room for luggage & looked into the back of another run down building back, no apology & was told take it or have refund. Needless to say I took the refund. Rooms were damp, foisty, had black and brown stains on ceilings/walls, carpets were sticky. Attitude of staff members stink, they avoid any sort of eye contact & hardly lift heads when you stand at the reception. Would never use them, shame as they occupy an ideal spot on the sea front.

Lovely hotel, great staff who are friendly and took me through the amenities of the hotel. Great COVID directions and felt very clean at entry.

Rooms are nowhere near the quality for what is being asked for in price. The pool was closed but we was not told about this. Which is one of the reasons why we booked this hotel. I even phoned 4 days before we arrived, to make sure the pool was open due to recent events. And I was reassured the pool was open. Not a good experience at this hostel, and definitely won’t be coming back to the Sh## hole!

Had lovely weekend staff spot on wos just What I was looking for.

Lovely friendly staff. We were there this past weekend with a large group of friends. My husband is in a wheelchair and the staff couldn't do enough to help us. Carried in our luggage raised the height of the bed for use with the hoist we hired. Help with breakfast so my husband could eat in our room. We were given the best suite in the house to accommodate my husband and his chair. Fantastic friendly place to stay. Highly recommended by our group. Thank you to all your amazing staff x.

Where do I begin. Good parts The hotel itself was a nice place, staff were friendly & helpful, the food was nice and the entertainment was good, has an indoor pool which was nice to relax in and has a nice view of the beach. Not so good We were told to leave our luggage downstairs as it would be taken up to our room but it was left downstairs & we had to take it up our selves and we were on 3rd floor and a cueue for a 2 person lift. The room me & my partner stayed in 308 wasn't good, the toilet wouldn't flush unless you pushed the handle down fast 6 to 8 times before it did, reported twice and still nothing was done. The bath was too low to the floor and wasn't easy to get in or out of unless you were a kid. There were stains all over the room walls as well as lots of dust. There was a lift which you could only fit 2 people in at 1 time and was chaos as there was always a cueue for the lift. We would come back if these changes were made.

Stayed here last weekend with lots of friends. Amazing staff, room very clean. They made me a jacket potatoe and was not on the menu.

Had a brilliant holiday. Staff were really friendly. Rooms were clean and well kept. Highly recommended. My only suggestions would be more food for evening main meal and more staff working evenings. But otherwise absolutely brilliant. And the birthday cakes were gorgeous x thank you so much xx.

Spent the night here on my own and can't even put into words how amazing and welcoming the staff are, from the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smiley face and such a warm welcome from Kim at reception, the pool was lovely, dinner and the waiting on staff were brilliant. All staff were excellent and went out their way to help! You should be proud of all your incredible staff and the amazing hotel, especially Dean and Jake! Will be back in the future! x.

It’s been a lovely break and the staff are amazing and can’t do enough for you they are always so friendly and will do anything for you. It’s so nice we have booked our wedding reception here for next year.

Since the hotel was taken over in april of 2019 all I can say is brilliant, although they are updating the hotel bit by bit, I cant fault it, ive even booked in for the rest of the year. Foods great — food lovely and fresh — staff are great even the owners are nice people. Thank you will be back very soon.

Would recommend this hotel very cheap lovely friendly staff very good soft mattresses on the bed… I had the best night sleep ever.

Spent 3 days here and it was a great experience, nice clean rooms and a great atmosphere all around, special mention goes out to Colin (Geordie) fantastic barman.

They are doing up this hotel slowly but I can only speak as I find. Our room was awful. Not too clean and very old and scruffy. It was very hot and a little noisy as the bar stays open until 2am Also all the fire doors were propped open. Very drunk, loud people in the bar that the staff encouraged. On the plus side the breakfast was good.

Very affordable hotel literally 2min walk away from the beach! Loved the location as it was much more quiet than other hotels nearer to city centre. All the main attractions as the Blackpool Tower and the Piers, also City centre are 10-20min walk away. Lovely and helpful staff. Got a room with a sea view from third floor and was really happy and the room was pretty spacious. This hotel has breakfast included, which is mostly Full English breakfast menu, but there are some other options to choose from and you can also help yourself with endless coffee (which to my surprise was really great), juice and cereal. Also there is a indoor swimming pool and sauna, which I have not been to. Free parking also included. Would come back there again!

We stayed at this hotel resolutely and we found it friendly and clean a basic room for the price we paid excellent. We would like to go back again it's not far from north pier and shops and you can get a taxi if you want to go to other parts of Blackpool breakfast was lovely thank you for a lovely weekend we will treasure the memory of being in Blackpool for our 25th wedding anniversary Alison and James gibbinson.

Excellent hotel manager makes you feel at home really enjoyed my stay there's always service with a smile absolute great place to stay and the swimming pool / spa was amazing can't wait to go back for our next hoilday.

I was there on the may bank holiday when the young farmer AGM was on and this hotel was excellent even though I am not one of the young farmer myself the staff were excellent attentive and worked with a smile on there faces I cannot praise them enough.

Hard to get parked or served in the bar. Otherwise it's good for local needs and priced accordingly.

Stayed at Bedford Hotel with my husband from Friday 16th March to Monday 19th. Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable room, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast amazing. Warm friendly welcome from Dana on arrival and couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be back. Well done to everyone at the Bedford Hotel.

The Hotel staff were excellent, polite and very helpful. The location is ideal being in walking distance of the centre but far enough away to be quiet at night. The included breakfast selection was great with plenty of options for every taste. The bed was comfortable though the decor in our room was worn but functional, the staff told me they were part way through process of updating the rooms so I'm sure they will be nice when finished. We will definitely be visiting again.

Choose this hotel! I stayed here again last Friday and enjoyed every minuet. Lovely clean rooms and great service from very friendly staff. Great value for money with a very tasty breakfast. You can't go wrong with this hotel. Plus it has a pool.

Yes there's no disputing the hotel is a little dated, however the room myself and wife stayed in was well maintained and very comfy. We just spent two nights here celebrating the new year, Blackpool centre is only a short walk away, nothing to demading and welcome after having eaten breakfast which was spot on. All the staff are friendly and helpfull, I would also like to say that the hotel reception manager Dana was brilliant, very friendly, polite and nothing is to much trouble. Had two great nights there and will definitley use as a base again.

We stayed at the Bedford Hotel for our works meeting. We have stayed there before and as before it is a great place to stay. The pool is always warm and the breakfast is spot on. The recent addition of next door has given the hotel some extra rooms and they are all good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice cheap weekend in blackpool.

So far so good, ample parking, Room clean, cosy and comfortable. We have yet to try the pool which looks nice on the website. The manager is very helpful in recommending restaurants & is exceptionally pleasant. Looking forward to trying the breakfast.

Bit of a walk from the main area, but good for the price. Also has a pool area within the hotel (although we didn''t use it). Room was a little dated but again for the price it was ok.

Room was cold but they provided a heater. Service was professional and the breakfast was exceptional. There is a tram stop near the hotel for easy access to the piers. Modern amenities were limited but there was a TV and kettle. Outside noise was limited as well and the curtains hit the illuminations well.

Nice for short stay but I couldn't stay more than 2 nights as the bathroom isn't for the larger person, staff need to be more attentive and polite towards there guests and needs a lick of paint and some tlc in places.

Not the best place to stop. At needs a good update. Parking is a nightmare food was good. Friendly staff but as they say u only get what u pay for.

Stayed bed and breakfast for 2 nights at the end of September 2017. Lovely room and really friendly staff. Breakfast was also excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

This Hotel was not the cleanest. There was dust on the floors and out of date carpet. The whole place does need modernising. The best part of the hotel was the swimming pool which may be small but was probably the cleanest part of the hotel. After being there once I am not coming again.

On arrival (having paid extra for seaview) we were shown to a room that had a filthy duvet covr on, and on inspecting actual duvet it was stained beyond belief, on complaining to maid she just laughed and said"it is alright I will fix it" she changed these items but never vacuumed floor, 2 small bars of soap for 4 days, same towels for 4 days and cheapest coffee sachets I have ever seen, to be fair public areas were a reasonable standard as was food and drink. Unfortnately at a cost of over £100 per night we most certainly will not be back at this Hotel.

We had a fantastic time at this Hotel, found it really family friendly didnt feel the kids were in the way! which is so important for us. Great pool just the right size for young children, my boys lived in it! Food well what can I say, just cant believe how nice it was, lots of choice and very tasty. We enjoyed it so much we are going back at christmas and taking some friends along.

An excellent hotel. Good food pleasant staff and the bar was a bonus Everyone was really helpful. I am partially disabled and they gave me a ground floor room which was really nice. Rooms small but adequare as you only sleep in them. All in all and excellent break so good we have booked again for the illuminations.
