Just got home from another lovely meal at the bowl inn, super staff and excellent food! We’ll be back!

The small but perfectly formed vegan menu. I visited for the first time on Monday and the food was really good.

We spontaneously booked 1 night in the bowl inn for a birthday weekend. Lovely pub, great location. The restaurant was fully booked last night and we enjoyed our meals, plus a nice wine and real ale selection. Rooms were lovely, all refurbished. Veggie breakfast was just ok. Would definitely stay again.

Nice country pub, good food, excellent real ales, lovely staff. Pub has been extended since I last visited, but tastefully done and bar area retains it's country pub charm.

We've become regulars, the menu is vast, the food is delicious and the decor and ambience is great and they know I love the fireplace table!

Amazing place, in beautiful grounds. Our room was really beautiful with its own gated garden so both dogs and children friendly. Amazing food well stocked bar and very friendly atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble.
We will definitely be going again.

Traditional pub / inn with a modern twist. Beautifully presented room in a gorgeous setting. Fantastic food and staff were super helpful and friendly too. A perfect place to visit to get away from it all. We cannot wait to return.

We’ve just returned from a night staying at The Bowl Inn and still were talking about how much of a lovely time we had! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the service was spot on. The food was delicious and the dog friendly room with the private garden was so cosy and perfect for what we needed for the evening. It’s lovely to go to a pub that welcomes dogs as much as it does their customers. We can’t wait to book another stay here. Thank you again for an enjoyable stay.

An accidental find but so pleased we came across this very friendly pub. We had the brie and bacon and sausage and onion baguettes for lunch, which were delicious. Sat in the lovely garden. Very well organised for social distancing and cleaning. Would definitely recommend.

Always a nice clean pub (doubled in size) had lovely burgers and chips and of course a nice drink.

I'd go out of my way to stay here again. A wonderful place to stay. Away from the noise and mayhem the M20 The Bowl Inn is a gem. They have a wide range of gin, Real Ale and the food is great too. Good, healthy portions are a bonus. The room was well equipped with nice furnishings and super comfortable bed. I was out like a light when my head hit the pillow. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower too. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Being a vegetarian I'm used to not having high expectations for a good and tasty meal in pubs which is not a shade of baige colour. Yet I haven't given up requesting for the non-standard veg item from the menus to try out at least once. The Bowl Inn surprised me with their very tasty Nut Roast and vegetarian gravy. It was and I thoroughly recommend it!

Had Sunday lunch here, bit pricey, but was delicious. Nice old building with a nice garden. Very friendly staff.

Visited Friday lunchtime. Friendly staff and good selection of real ales. Good choices on menu, fish and chips was nice. Remote location but easy to find with sat nav. Would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

In the middle of beautiful nowhere, friendly and correct service, nice comfortable rooms with the authentic old fashioned touch. Food was good pub food. Breakfast was nice and freshly made. Fresh fruit was not so fresh but for the rest a great experience.

Last Saturday I came down to your beer festival (there was a group of 7 of us) I brought £54 worth of tickets only for you to sell out at about 10oclock I think it was, now we could use them from behind the bar, but it was so busy it took 20 mins to get served so didn't have time to spend the last of our tickets and was very limited stock that we were aloud to use the tickets on behind the bar so we lost out on £38 worth! I think this is highly disgusting as you didn't do refunds, it was not our fault that you ran out! What should of happened is the organiser knew that you had 300 pints to sell for instance and only sell 300 tickets! I know for sure that the reputation of this beer festival has certainly gone down and won't return as I know others won't! Also the price of tickets (pints) £3.60 surely there must be some incentive to coming back/going to a beer festival as all other beer festivals have the beer cheaper than normal pints, otherwise we could of gone to any pub for that price! Highly disgusted and let down with this year! Review… 1 star.

We love the Bowl with its great beers, log fire and lovely atmosphere. The friendliest pub in the county. Don't miss the pulled pork burger either, or the beer festival in mid July!
