Very friendly staff and bar is good with pub games eg darts and pool. Nice views from rooms but disappointed by standard of cleanliness and very basic ensuite. Towels had brown marks so had to use hand towel to dry. A few simple changes would of made it a great stay.

Love this small but unique family run pub, restaurant and hotel, very friendly staff and amazing ales and food and recently refurbished rooms. Great location for a wedding, christening or celebration. Set in the beautiful village of Littledean, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

Lovely comfortable old hotel. Great bar with real ales and real log fire. Large deck and extensive gardens, great for children. Friendly owners, staff and locals. Good Indian restaurant.

Best part of my morning was sitting in the conservatory with a cup of coffee, the view is beautiful. Staff are all excellent! So friendly and helpful, and locals are also very nice! Rooms were very comfortable and the building has a lot of traditional characters with a very tasteful Indian flare. Would absolutely recommend and stay again! :)

Was a great cosy place to stay, only stayed one night so can't say much but overall was a good experience. Had to leave the dog to sleep in the car as they didn't allow pets but I do suggest you ask them before booking anyway.

From what I saw of the place as we were outside at a festival. Very oldy worldly and friendly good staff. Nice.

This hotel is located with stunning views of the countryside from the rear decking area and garden. Room was very clean and well presented with memory foam mattress on the bed. The owner and his staff were all very attentive and pleasant. The Indian restaurant food was excellent also. Lovely little hotel which is great value for money.

We held our sons christening celebration at Littledean House hotel yesterday day and it was absolutely fantastic! Sharon and Sandeep were amazing and the conservatory was the perfect place to hold our party, Ernest had the best day! Everyone who came commented on how delicious the food was and what a lovely venue it was. We couldn't have asked for more! I can't recommend this place highly enough! Thank you all for all your hard work! Can't wait to share our pictures with you!

The best Indian food locally. Great atmosphere with a beautiful open fire. Historic building. Lots of character. Definitely worth a visit. Reasonable prices.

We had a great stay, staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant downstairs also very good. Rooms nice but can be a little noisy.

Very nice food in with great service. One of the nicest indian places in the forest. Drinks are cold and friendly staff.

AVOID! Nice Beds, rooms ok Carpets filthy, breakfast was included, but they could not be bothered to wake up anf get it for 0900 as was explained in the room information sheet, all bedroom keys fit all room, we had a drunk man use his key get into out foor, before I F — — ed him off I would never ever stay there again, norm use the Ibis in Gloucester, just fancied a change, this place is a great building, and has loads of charm, but a bit run down, sfatt cant be arsed as I said avoid!

We have stayed here several times in last few years and we have nothing but good things to say about it. Highly recommended!

My family and I went visited the Littledean House Hotel for a Sunday roast. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, it was child friendly, the service was polite and friendly… the food was great. I will be visiting with my family again very soon!
