1st class service. Lunch the best I have had in a very long time. Cheeseboard fabulous. Staff very friendly and on the ball nothing too much trouble. Will be back very soon.

We stayed at the Mill Arms on Sunday evening two weeks ago. Our room was newly refurbished with delicate pastel colours and great attention to detail. Good storage, efficient shower, and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Gina made us very welcome; excellent food, real ale and the "locals" buzz which makes you feel part of the place. Breakfast was excellent and we were on our way having thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Reasonably priced, beautifully restored rooms and great attention to detail. Go and enjoy yourselves!

Had a light lunch after a walk which was very nice. The staff were friendly, service was good and the price very reasonable. Plenty of parking.

An exceptional country pub with a great relaxed atmosphere. Lived in this area for 35 years and our first visit. Well impressed shall visit again.

Lovely cozy place for drinks or a family lunch. There are plush sofas by a wood burner for casual coffee as well as the usual pub tables for meals. Staff are friendly, food is tasty and service is excellent. Atmosphere is welcoming and cosy, with nicely updated décor so it feels fresh but not overly modernised. It's a good spot for a bite after a walk — dogs welcome but they ask you to leave your muddy boots at the door, please!

The Mill Arms is a lush place to stay. Great atmosphere, good food, inviting and friendly. Rooms are fab too.

Food was very poor, especially the desert I received. A dead fly was found on my plate and when I reported this, I was told i'd get no refund and was asked to leave by one of the chefs.

First time back at The Mill Arms since the change of management and the refurbishment. The bars have all been tastefully redecorated and are furnished well with lovely sofas around the cosy wood burner. We took a party of 30+ for Sunday roast and have to say the food and the staff were exceptional. Its certainly not easy serving 30 people prompt hot food! The roast itself was lovely with plentiful meats and a very large selection of vegetables. To add to all this the bar was tastefully decorated for Christmas and felt very festive. Will definitely be returning!

The Mill Arms was re opened in August 2017 after being closed for 8 months. The new owners have replaced the conservatory and done a lovely job of rmupdating the decor. The bedrooms are currently being refurbished and should be available from October 2017

Went there in a party of five (Inc two children) plus dog. We all really enjoyed our food which was top notch. Thoroughly recommended.

Popped in there by train from Romsey about 3 weeks and we both had a great burger meal. Good ales matched with good service. Went there again with our dog on a visit to Mottisfont Abbey and grounds.

We were running late, the kitchen held our food beyond their closing time for when we did arrive, the service was personable and friendly and the food was fantastic. All in all an excellent dining experience. Even making a fuss out of our two dogs, bringing fresh water for them to the table. Highly recommended!

Went here for lunch after a trip to Mottisfont gardens and house. Very friendly landlady and good food — what more could you ask for (well some sunshine actually, as it poured down about an hour after we arrived)

This hotel is set in wonderful countryside, plenty for the bird watcher & naturalist's to get there teeth into. The hotel and room's were very clean & comfortable making it easy to relax & unwind. Mine-Host's Andrea & Ian were really welcoming and looked after us well, Ian really does know his beer's and Wines and his bar skill are second to none, but we really do think that the driving force is Andrea she seemed to be on the go from Breakfast time to Supper time but still managed to keep smiling, her people skill's are brilliant and nothing seemed to much for her, always there to help, never in your face but always there to help and really does know her job. We will be back again soon. First rate 10/10 Bruce & Kath Townsend.

Popped in for lunch on our way to Lockerley. I had egg baguette and the misses had the soup which she found a little too rich. We ate in the conservatory which was lovely and bright and warm. The staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. All in all a nice pub with a basic but tastey menu. Will pop in again. B^)
