Very pleasant stay. I checked in a bit early and the room wasn’t ready but it wasn’t a problem as I knew I was early. Had a drink in the pub before wondering into cosham for a bit to kill some time. Quite a nice shopping centre although a bit run down in places. Room was on a par in my opinion with a premier inn. Very clean, tidy and with plenty of amenities. Only downside was that I stayed during the 2018 heatwave and the room was suffocatingly hot. Cannot really blame the hotel for this as it has been exceptionally hot this year. They did put a fan in my room but it only really blew the hot air about! Had to go out to get some much needed fresh air. Had an evening meal in the pub which was really nice. Had macaroni cheese and chocolate pudding. They seemed a bit low on many of the supplies as much of what was on the menu wasn’t available in the pub. The food was very nice tho. As I went back up to my room I noticed that in reception was a little box with fresh teas, coffee etc. I thought this was a really nice touch. I’d recently had a kidney transplant so needed to drink plenty but due to the immunosuppressants I can only drink boiled water for three months. It was nice to be able to help myself to teas and was much appreciated. Due to the insane heat I didn’t get a very good nights sleep.
Room good but far to hot. Staff very friendly and helpful, food presentation excellent. Overall very good. Certain staff 1 in particular opened coffee packet with teeth not very hygienic.

Had a lovely 3 night stay breakfast was amazing got bigger every day room clean and comfortable if a little small. Very friendly staff overall very good value.
