I nice I liked. the shut only clean under bead dust beater. And beat it was noise. We can't open windows to get ear.

Great venue for a wedding with superb facilities, friendly staff and great views over Langstone Harbour.

We stayed last night with the island escape package and we had a lovely meal. The staff were brilliant and to be welcomed by the manager as he wanted to say hi to us and let us know he had put a bottle of fizz in our room to celebrate was amazing. Thank you and we looking forward to staying again in January 🙂

Review We stayed at the Langston and booked 2 double ‘superior room’ for 3 nights inc breakfast. The hotel is in a great location. The hotel it’s self could do with some updating it’s tired looking. Friendly staff The bar as expected hotel prices for drinks. They sell cocktails but obviously don’t know how to make them as they come draught but with cocktail price tag. Breakfast was ok. Nothing memorable. The Pool needs some updating. Changing rooms are dirty and so are the toilets. You have to provide your own towel or use one from the room. The room: well definitely not superior. There were cobwebs inc a couple spiders around a very dirty window which hasn’t been cleaned in months. The vents were dark grey with dust. Holes in the wall and the bathroom filthy. The toilet and shower surrounded with yellow/ green limescale. There is no stationery or an information book. No toiletries although they put that as a selling feature. Not even a bar of soap, but you do get an empty box of tissues yay. The rooms are incredibly hot and no air con and the dirty windows only open a few centimetres just enough for the spiders to get through. The mini bar is empty. My complaint took 3 days for the manager to get back to me and offered us a round of drinks. I was offered another room but it was of the same dirty standard.

Very Poorly managed, from the top. understaffed, Overpriced. Leisure centre was good, but steam room closed for maintenance. Complaints from infested rooms, no air conditioning, noise from rooms, door cards constantly not working to poor planning for functions. Overinflated alcohol prices due to lack of planning on order’s. For a wedding planer to spend so much time organising a wedding, then on the big day, not be there & leave it to junior staff, shows a real lack of professionalism & leadership. Management seems to disappear when problems arise leaving junior staff to deal with the problem. Could be a great hotel, but currently would advise looking at other venues before booking parties or other special events at this hotel. You are paying top prices for this hotel. You should expect the service & standards with this. On our stay, this was severely lacking. Management apologetic but didn’t truly understand the heartache & problem caused. Derisory compensation, wanting to hide complaints rather than deal with customers. Definitely not a 4 ⭐️ hotel.

Just returned from lovely relaxed and calm break at Langstone Quays. The hotel is perfectly placed for visiting the beaches of Hayling Island and the sights of Portsmouth and the views from our room and the restaurant were gentle and tranquil. ALL the staff we encountered — at Reception, in the restaurant, the bar, the pool — all were friendly, approachable and helpful. The food was excellent — delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommend a visit!

My sister and I have just had a wonderful stay in a twin room. Everything was perfect. All the staff were helpful and friendly. A big shoutout to the lovely Beth on reception. A true asset to the hotel. She was always happy, helpful and professional. We had a good rapport with her, with lots of laughs. Glynis Fletcher and Wendy Smith (to Beth, the Gogglebox girls) 😆

Just stayed here last night. The reception staff, Beth & Brooke went above and beyond for us. They are a real credit to the hotel. Thank you to them. The room was lovely and large, and had a lovely view of the Quay. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel but could benefit from some updating. Also needs some EV charging points. It is the 21st century after all.

We had our wedding here the weekend, I would 100percent reccomend it, we had such a magical day we couldn’t have made it any better! We had nothing but the best feed back from all of our guests, not one bad thing I can say about any of the staff or the hotel it was all so beautiful 🤩

Absolutely AWFUL experience. Booked a room for my friends wedding for £95. They didn’t have the room booked on their system but then took over £300 in total which I’m still waiting back! Hopefully after seeing this I’ll get a response on my email! Bride and groom also didn’t receive anything special for their wedding night just a bulk standard room. No champagne etc. Please don’t get married here 😓 Such a shame as a really lovely hotel.

We had to most perfect day for our wedding on Sunday 1st August. The wedding team were absolutely amazing and made me feel so relaxed. Couldn’t ask for a better venue for our special day. Will definitely be recommending to others.

Had my wedding here on the 25th jan. We couldnt of asked for anything more, the whole day was perfect start to finish. The spinnaker suite looked brilliant, the food was amazing and the staff were perfect. Thanks amy, franko and the team.

As our company dinner was absolutely awful… Not enough veg no condiments, people had to wait 15mins for their meal while others were nearly finished… When the late meals did arrive they were completely different. There was a white sauce on the Christmas pudding that even 2 cooks who attended could not make out what it was. It was basically white corn flour. The price we paid for what we had was diabolical. Especially as we are in the food industry…

Came for an only fools and horses evening the noise was awful couldn’t hear the act at all many complaints were made to management and a full table of 12 people left. Absolutely awful do not recommend at all!

Stay here a lot. It’s ok. Staff are good, good gym. However £27 for chicken breast and chicken for room service us extracting the urine somewhat.

Lovely hotel in a quiet setting near the marina. Currently having some work done and the painter was considerate pleasant and chatty trying to be unobtrusive which isn’t easy when painting a corridor.
Wedding party Friday night but the thoughtful planning means that the bedrooms were a way away from the disco so we didn’t hear it.

Nice hotel, in a nice location with great views. The staff are helpful and nice. If I had a moan the swimming area needs a bit of TLC abut is still a nice facility.

Just had a 1 night stay with my husband and 10 year old son. Our room was lovely and spacious, plenty of space for the 3 of us. The bed was quite soft but that didn't personally bother me. The staff are friendly. The swimming pool was good too, although children can only swim at certain times. To be honest the breakfast was the only let down for us, and we aren't fussy eaters. The food wasn't warm and quite limited. Overall however, a nice stay.

We had a lovely time. Lovely welcome by way of cold fizz on ice, muffins and a congratulations card for my hubby who was celebrating 20 years post heart double lung transplant… fab view from our room and dinner was lovely. Friendly and helpful staff. And a fab setting right by the water. Would definitely stay again.

Most know my story and some don’t… I've had £5 to feed myself and I've had £50 to go out to eat. I’ve had a house full of food and I’ve been without food. I’ve given people clothes. I’ve been given clothes. I’ve been in stores cashing out with no worries and I’ve also had to add it up and put it back. … I’ve paid my rent in full and I’ve had to pay it late too. I’ve given money and I too have had to ask for it. We all have highs and lows in life, some certainly more than others, but we’re all just trying to make it. No one is better than anyone else, and I pray for those who think that they are. No matter how big your house is, how new your car is, or how much money sits in your bank account — we all bleed red and will all die someday. Death has no discrimination, neither should your life. Be kind to others. The staff are friendly and help full but the environment is very relaxed.

Would recommend a massage at the spa really nice. The food was good and all staff very friendly.
The location is lovely we had fantastic view of the quay as we sat and had breakfast each morning. The hotel is only a short drive away from Portsmouth and Havant if you want to venture out.

Gorgeous hotel. Doesn't look great from the outside but is lovely inside and the rooms are well kept. Service at reception is quite slow to get you checked in. Self service I pads would be a good idea for people that just want to check in with no fuss/questions.

Only a half an hour from Wittering Beach so I booked it as it followed the theme of the seaside. Really kind for the team to get me a view of the bridge from my room. Clean and welcoming staff. Get to breakfast for 6.30 if you want to see the sun come up with a cup of coffee. 3 and a half miles from the Hayling Beach which is stony with amusements for the children. Garage around the corner if you forgot that toothbrush or other necessity. In a word this hotel is picturesque!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very nice dinner included on first night and two very good breakfasts. Good, spacious comfortable room with a very large bathroom. Will definitely stay there again if in the area!

Just come back from a night stay here & we were really happy with our stay. The Reception & staff were very polite & happy to help. The rooms were very nice & clean. Will definitely return — have returned & can't fault anything at all :) love coming back.

Slightly dated decor but hotel is situated in a lovely spot. Staff are very well trained and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food isn't bad but there are plenty of places to eat close by. The rooms are very spacious with most having a good view. There is no air con but fans are supplied. There's a swimming pool and spa and gym, free for all guests. A very good hotel.

Nice location and our room 141 overlooked the water inlet. Room was clean and a very good size. Only downside for my wife and me was that the mattress was very soft, we prefer a harder mattress. The staff were helpful and the buffet breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. We made use of the leisure facilities, pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi which were all very good and kept clean. I would recommend everything but keep in mind the softness of the mattress.

Wonderful location… excellent staff. Great meal last night. Would be nice to have bottled water in the room. Spa suite 'tired'… fab place for a short break. We will be back.

Loved it. Quite remote but yes I'd stay again. Lovely room helpful staff nice bar. Masses of parking (look round the back lol everyone wants to park at the front! ) Room was huge for the money. Very clean place. Petrol station with booze and snacks (and of course fuel! ) at the end of it's road if like me you're a bit "stay in" when away on business, and tight as a ducks a.

Lovely hotel, went for a wedding which was lovely! But the cost was extortionate… not only did I pay £75 just for the room, it was £7.50 for a glass of wine and on checking out I was stunned at the cost of breakfast at a record breaking £29.90! I'm not too sure what you actually got for this because abit of bacon and sausages and a cup of tea isn't worth half of that! Not once was I given an option or told how much breakfast was, even when he asked me for my payment I then had to ask how much I was meant to be paying! If I knew I was expected to pay that much I would have gone without!

I stayed at the Hotel last night for my Mothers Birthday Party. Everyone said how lovely and clean their rooms were and the staff were so lovely and helpful. The spinnaker suite was superb, and the food delicious, the event itself could not have gone better, it ran so smoothly thankfully to the efficiency and professionalism of the staff. We had been warned there would be a wait for breakfast after 9:30 due to being the busiest time but some of us did oversleep due to such a late night. Even then the staff were great and the selection and quality could not be faulted. Will definitely be returning to enjoy the rest of the facilities.

Nice location but on arrival room freezing as Windows left open. Shower brilliant but due to design of shower screen water all over bathroom floor. Radiator can only be left on whilst 'key' in slot so room didn't really warm up until midnight!. A few parties going on and we were above the music thud thud … it did finish at midnight tho! Breakfast good. Pool ok steam room lacking on steam so I would say needs some TLC disappointing …

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband and daughter and left very happy. Very nice triple room, clean and very comfortable. Staff were kind and polite. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended A.

Spa is a stand alone building so if you like a swim you need to brave the weather. Steam Room and sauna not very big. Atrocious arrangements for breakfast, waited for over an hour. In the end asked for a tray and have breakfast in the bar area. People everywhere all waiting for over an hour to be seated. There are still people waiting to be seated after 1030 and that's their supposed end of breakfast. The poor staff coping with poor management.

Where to begin! Loved my stay here — took advantage of the pool, jacuzzi and steam room — our hotel room was immaculate, spacious and very comfy. Our dinner in the pub style bar was delicious — the staff everywhere were very polite and well mannered and helpful — we ere made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was a very good selection, cereals, toast, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and sausages — I'm getting hungry just thinking about it — and we were encouraged to help ourselves without restriction — would live to go back with the kids! The views of the bridge and the marina at the back are beautiful — just loved it!

Got at last minute deal, and was pleased with the room. Great overnight stay, the room was clean and quiet. Pool and leisure facilities could do with an update. Was a little crowded and had children jumping into the pool. Breakfast and bar were good.

The Langstone Hotel is a bit of a faded beauty but the service was top notch and the food was great. There is a comfortable bar and the breakfast room (which is a fine dining restaurant at night) has great views of the island. Some parts of the rooms could do with a refresh but the staff try hard to make sure you feel at home and I loved it.

Lovely hotel and breakfast the staff were friendly even the cleaners saying good morning. Rooms are spacious and although the spa and gym are small they are sufficient for a small holiday. If you are expecting enough to keep you busy for a weekend though it's not that kind of spa. It's in a lovely place and easily accessible to Portsmouth by car or bus.

Lovely room, great staff, the reception staff very welcoming but did have to stand in a queue and as I was very tired was not pleased. The floor in the walk in shower in room 271 could do with a scrub around the edges and breakfast was a disappoint as everything was swimming in grease. Really enjoyed the pool and would certainly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic place. Nice staff too. Even if you do receive roomservice in your boxers and t-shirt at midnight. Bathrobes included in the rooms may be a good idea though.

Pleasant enough hotel in scenic setting on Hayling Island. A bit tatty round the edges but prices reflect that. The only problem was breakfast where literally dozens of guests ended up eating in the foyer whilst no one seemed to be clearing tables in the half empty restaurant. And the foyer tables soon filled with uncleared dirty plates too. Short staffed? Badly managed? Both? Take the hotel's own advice and get down to breakfast early until they sort themselves out.

A really lovely place to stay. View from room overlooking boats. Room was really clean & Spacious. Staff so helpful. Food also very good. Really can't fault this hotel. Would 100% recommend.

Couldn't of asked for better. Lovely hotel in a great location, with staff on all levels willing to go out there way to help and make a stay ever more easy. From the minute of waking in to the time of leaving. Clean and friendly and with the added extra of pool, gym, sauna and spa facilities, also on site restaurant serving food until late. Staff at the bar and kitchen staff I cannot thank you enough for your willingness to go beyond what I expected, not having a standard gluten free menu, I was highly impressed with ability and willingness for chefs to adapt the menu to enable me to eat with ease throughout my stay, even the willingness to organise me food to take on my long journey home. The housekeeping so very friendly who I'm sure are usually forgotten, thank you for your hard work. I am truly impressed and thank all the staff members for there welcoming and going beyond what I expected. I look forward to my return journey and hope my next stay is a good as this xx.

Had our wedding here yesterday and absolutely cannot express into words how grateful we are for your hospitality. We are so glad we chose to book with you, with special thanks to Emily, Amber and the gentleman (sorry I cannot for the life of me remember his name) who were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, they absolutely pulled out all the stops and when some of my best paid plans went to pot, they quickly stepped in and sorted it our for us to ensure we had a beautiful, enjoyable and memorable day for all the right reasons. The food was amazing and exceeded expectations, infact the whole event exceeded and I literally cannot praise your hotel and it's staff enough.
The restaurant food and staff were fantastic on the eve of our big day and our food was perfect. All of our guests had an amazing day and we are truly overwhelmed with how wonderful and perfect you made our day. We look forward to joining you again on our 1st anniversary, if not before, we literally cannot fault a single bit of your service or staff and would highly recommend you to anybody thinking of booking a wedding with you. The staff were very polite and helpful. I was attending a work presentation and the room was very pleasant. Food was excellent although they ran out of some of the desserts. Lots of parking available which was a bonus.

I've been going to the baby swimming classes held there and it's nice but a little dated. The changing rooms are okay, there are plenty of lockers available, they're tidy and the showers are hot but they're quite cold compared to the pool area so a bit of a shock, especially for babies. Staff are friendly!

For us. At first sight. The Hotel was lovely. It was clean and spacious and off the road so a quiet area. With a wedding on each day we quickly found this was not so. On both days the bar and communal areas were taken over by hordes of wedding guests. Also. Due to the music. We had to close windows on what were very hot nights.

Disaster. 12.15am and we can't sleep (children included) because of the noise. There have been people shouting in the corridors for hours and general noise such as music and chatting because of a function but now the people next door have started singing at the top of their voices. The bathroom floor is full of hairs too. On the plus side, the staff seem pleasant. Free Wi-Fi is good too. First time here, unfortunately won't be back, we value our sleep.

Great accommodation, over looks the marina. Brilliant place with clean rooms. They have a large pool suitable for all ages, with leasure and spa facilities. Would defiantly recommend.

Beautiful wedding venue, the view is stunning all year round. We also ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was perfect And staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Shall be coming back for a longer stay sometime.

A really nice hotel in an excellent location. Really good food in the bar area the restaurant food is a little arty for my taste but still nice but not much of it. Lovely walks direct from the hotel for a gentle stroll. Nice pool and most importantly very clean and comfortable rooms.

We understood often and never betrayed expectations. Decent bar and good restaurant Although the prices are a bit above average.

Paid for a luxury room, however the room was far from luxurious. Called reception several times because the thermometer in my room wasn't working and we were freezing but no one picked up. There was bugs in the room. On the website it was advertised we were getting walk in jet showers and personal bath robes. The food was overall very poor. Breakfast was expensive but very poor quality. Room service was expensive and any time you called for it there was no answer. Overall not impressed, would have rather stayed at a Travelodge.

My family and I spent a weekend here and really liked it. Impressive views and the outside and reception is nice and is welcoming. I the guy that checked us in was very professional and friendly. Was offered breakfast which was a tenner each, which seemed steep, until I realised that we had only paid £60 for 4 of us for the room in the first place and the kids ate for free and it was a buffet, which meant I made sure I got my monies worth! The hotel room was perfectly reasonable, and while we were pretty much low maintenance guests, one quibble is that we requested an additional bed for my daughter which wasn't there. She ended up sleeping on the large sofa cushion which was fine as she's only 5 and was quite happy with this arrangement, though it was disappointing that we had requested one and it wasn't there. We made use of the swimming pool which was very nice. Not terribly big but the fact they have one is great. Along side this there is a Jacuzzi, a sauna and a steam room. Very clean and nice to use. Not sure if it's right to put this in the review but there are several fast food places nearby (we did Pizza Hut on the first night) and there is also a large Tesco just up the road which is handy. We spent some time on Hayling Island Beach and had a picnic and noticed a fun fair etc down there. We weren't around for long so we didn't really explore, though there didn't seem to be a great deal there.

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER HELD A CONFERENCE AT! The booked conference room’s AV equipment did not work which meant the whole conference was a disaster and very stressful! The staff did not even seem to care the equipment did not work! Only one staff member knew how the equipment worked, so when he was not working one morning the equipment simply did not work! It seemed no one was in charge of the hotel or wanted to take responsibility! THE EQUIPMENT MUST WORK! The food was terrible nothing like the standard AA Rosettes should be! The food was plenty but fried and not a green vegetable OR PIECE OF FRUIT in site! The rooms are tired and the whole hotel needs a facelift and a new management team that focus on customer service! I had always envisaged using this hotel for my wedding reception but will NEVER NOW! They offered us preferential rates at our next conference! WHAT A JOKE, WE WILL NEVER USE THE LANGSTONE HOTEL IN HAYLING ISLAND EVER AGAIN! If I were you I would stick to a main stream hotel, as you know you will receive great service and GET what you paid for! Extremely Dissatisfied CUSTOMER and even when I complained in writing to the manager, I expected an apology which was not received, hence my 1st feedback on trip advisor.
