We loved it here today. Lots to do for the kids, very reasonable prices for everything! Lots to choose from in the courtyard from, ice cream to a cold beer to a steak pie. Just £1 for crazy golf! I find lots of places stupidly priced for a day out but this place I will defo visit again and again.

Amazing, beautiful, clean. It's first time when I've there and for sure I will be going again.

We went for the dinosaur experience recently. Disappointing this wasn’t as I’d hoped. I expected there to be dinosaurs amongst the crowds more. The play area was just a bunch of little pop up tents, although my son enjoyed it, he’s only 2, was no good for bigger kids. The Jurassic park music playing as we walked in got us really excited, but it was a bit of a let down, and we didn’t stay long. Luckily both my kids are little and were free, but I imagine those with older children would feel a bit ripped off. The park and grounds are lovely, would’ve been better if it was more spaced out. And definitely needed more dinosaurs! I should add all the staff were great though, and we will come back, just not to any dinosaur events 🙈

Absolutely beautiful and clean park. Playarea is enormous comparing to other parks. Huge car park.

I went to see lion king the sing along with my two young girls this evening, I wasn’t expecting it to be much but haigh hall blew our socks off! It was amazing from start to finish, pure entertainment and fun. To top it off my daughters won best dancers! We had a fabulous evening. Thanks to all at haigh hall x.

Visited the park today. Really great day out for £3 parking. Lots to do for kids. The gardens and improvements are beautiful. Would recommend taking picnics to avoid queues. Loads of space to chill out if needed.

great little funfair and trim trail parks the Dinosaur shows were very entertaining. 🦖😄
will definitely be back on a quieter day to do the footgolf and mini golf etc.

Queues were an absolute nightmare Not a good idea to let that many people in, even if free there needs to be a limit on number of cars allowed.
It wasnt fun at all for the adults. Kids liked it but probably managed in 2 hours about 8 minutes of actually seeing the dinos due to the crowds
We couldn’t get a drink or anything to eat due to the queues. Needs a rethink next time! Free tickets maybe so they can limit the amount of people?
We will be back but not when there is an event on!

Had fantastic day here today, very organised with socially distanced queuing system for the park, sanitising in and out of the children’s play area. We did a dinosaur hunt using an app, which the children loved. I also have to say the staff were incredibly helpful after my car got stuck on the grass in the overflow car park, no stress or panic and sorted quickly.

Had the best time today at the Christmas drive in, at Haigh watching Miracle on 34th Street. Cannot praise the staff enough, so well organised from start to finish. Exceptionally good night, my 6 year old granddaughter loved it. (nearly as much as me! ) From booking it, (thanks Diane, ) to being escorted safely from the car park, after such a great event. Thanks Keith, Lewis and your team. Really well organised, and looking forward to next year's. :-)

Came to the drive in movie tonight, Elf — on the big screen! Was awesome! So well organised and all the staff were really helpful, and so friendly, from the cafe to the guys out in the rain, smiles all round! got food from Graze… was delicious, great sound in the movie, great night had by all! Thanks Haigh.

We came today for the bushcraft session and the kids absolutely loved it. The staff were fab, we had Ste and Dave to help us with the den building and we didn't get the name of the camp fire making guy but he was brilliant too. Very hands on for the kids with all the support they needed. Lots and lots of fun had by all and it was really well organised too. Thank you too the outdoor adventure team ️

Great day out for all the family. Beautiful surroundings and nice walks through unspoilt gardens of an historic country manor. Although the hall itself is need of repair. Lots to do for kids and grown up can relax. Nice cafe and icecreams kiosks but a bit expensive. Well worth a visit.

Haigh Hall Country Park is a fabulous day out. An adventure trail with zip wires for the more adventurous and a little steam train ride round the gardens. Good fun and the park staff were very accommodating.

Haigh Hall has been done up beautiful. I went to an organised charity night, which was successful. The food was nice, but very small portions. Drinks were extortionate. Service poor. I won't be going here again. Daylight robbery.

In my opinion Haigh Woodland Park is the Best for families to spent free Time. Amazing mini golf, playground, train and restaurants. Hotel looks impressive outside. I wasn't inside but by the Windows looked a very elegance and clean. Fantastic park with many places on the picknic and a lot of adventure with clean and wonderful nature. I recommend it.

Never stayed in the hotel, however the woodland park is fantastic. Plenty of things to do with the kids and walks to do around the grounds. Great place to go at the weekend when the sun is shining.

Completely lied to my dad and step mum regarding there wedding… From start to finish they over promised, stating the rooms would be ready and then the day before phoned my dad and advised the rooms aren't ready. As you can imagine my dad was furious. 2 weeks previous we had all gone to see the rooms and was promised all would be ready for my dads and step mum's special day. Still to this day. The owner has never replied. Letters and emails have been sent. Do not use.

Attended a wedding here last year, absolutely shocking! To start things off they told the bride 24 hours before the wedding that the rooms would not be ready for her party to stay in. The management where rude and unhelpful. The hotel itself was like a building site with wires hanging from the ceiling and builders dust everywhere. The grounds where poorly kept, rust on the rear entrance banister that actually cut guests fingers. Stoned area full of weeds! My friends are still waiting for some kind of compensation from this venue. Avoid at all costs!

Not seen much of the inside since the renovation. Glad the building has been looked after. Bit disappointed it's begging to look like a private country estate when its in public land. Gravel around the hall nice but unessesary. Removing benches next to it again why and putting gates and lines on the road make it seem something many people weren't expecting it to be. Otherwise I'm not too sure how good as a hotel it should be but I imagine it's half decent.

I'd only popped into Haigh Hall just for a quick look around the grounds with my wife and realised that we were a bit peckish so decided to nip in for a spot of lunch as it was a nice day. The staff there were very attentive and met our needs perfectly, absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Quick, responsive and service with a smile. You can tell everyone really takes pride in their work here especially the chef's. Speaking of which, the food was absolutely to die for! Some top quality dining right here. Highly recommended for anyone living nearby or guests.

I hadn't visited the Haigh Hall courtyard in years. It is so nice now. I particularly enjoyed visiting the Two Left Feet Brewery Tap. The choice of beers for such a small bar was superb!

HAIGH HALL HOTEL (not the parkland) Very disappointing. Vey cold, no heating on in room when I arrived (-2 outside). Had to wear my coat indoors at all times. Soiled bed linen, mediocre quality food served on cold plates. Woken most mornings by builders or their radios, Staff helpful and poilte but very limited knowledge of area. Certainly not worth the £200 per night price tag. Has great potential but a long way off the mark at present.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Nearby is beautiful countryside like rivington so I advise you find a more suitable hotel. The hotel inside seems ok however the outside is nothing like the photo advertised on the website. The view up to the hall shows only beautiful lawns and trees giving it the feeling of a country park. In reality the view is of a narrow road with painted lines, parked cars, bare trees and logging. The lawns have been torn up to accommodate more parking area and gives what once was a beautiful view into nothing more than a car park. I would not recommend staying here.

This is a perfect place to bring the little ones, there is a newly installed play area and high rope area. The gardens and woodland walks are lovely, there is plenty of choice for somewhere to eat or get a cuppa! If your a keen golfer there is a challenging 18hole course. There is also a little train that runs on certain days and to top it off you can access the canal and enjoy a lovely walk along the banks of the canal.

We went for a day out with the family at Christmas. We were there with the whole family from little kids to older grandparents. The parking is expensive but then there are no other charges for entry. The cafe is basic but had good staff who were very helpful. We walked as much as we could but the paths were so muddy the pram struggled. The kids wanted to see the pigs but they must have been away for winter. Good day out with nice views.

Excellent venue — I attended a Christmas Party function here last night. The attention to detail on the restoration done so far is very high. It appears that no expense has been spared so far however, there is still restoration works going on around the hotel so only a handful of rooms is ready for guests. Every room has high quality furnishings and lighting (i believe most of the chandeliers are the originals from the hall back in the day). I have also been told, the bathroom doors in the guest rooms are bullet proof which have been reclaimed from the house of the king of Saudi Arabia. Would return without a shadow of a doubt especially to see the finished article.
