Great venue, excellent grounds and outdoor seating area. Peaceful atmosphere good selection of drinks and service. Parking is on site and plentiful. Access from the motorways is good although the roundabouts can be busy especially when traffic claiming measures are in place. In easy reach of Manchester and the Trafford centre.

Terrible. Poor service. Not enough staff. No apology when they mess everything up. Stay clear. Appalling hotel. Worst in the chain I have ever stayed at. Let me expand after the company comment below. This comment sums up this hotel well. I have stayed at the Novotel in Edinburgh a number of times. It is excellent. Good facilities and great staff. The rooms at Worsley are tired. Ok. But tired. My colleague has been bitten by insects. A problem experienced by other people here. I am diabetic and so asked for diet coke with my meal. I tested it to ensure that it was diet coke and it was not. I tried to explain to one member of staff who argued that it wasn't normal coke. I had tested it so is m certain. The other member of staff barely spoke English and was confused. I eventually got a replacement with no apology. I ordered soup. This took over forty minutes to arrive and only after I complained. This took a while thanks to the chap who barely spoke English again. I asked why there was a delay given how quick soup is to prepare. I was told that I had been informed they were busy when I ordered. This was a lie. Neither my colleague or I had been told this. Nevertheless soup just needs taking out of the pan. My main course arrived reasonably quickly, only a sandwich but all on all over an hour of waiting. My colleague still had to ask where his was. We waited over twenty minutes to be served at the bar. When we were after paying they forgot to get the drink.

Not a bad place to rest your head. The room was clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and the food was very nice. No complaints.

Check in staff helpful. And friendly. Room was clean tidy and comfortable. No answer on the number for 24/7 room service at 1am.

Fantastic place to stay… 10 minute drive from the Trafford Centre, Manchester. Hotel itself was clean and had everything you wanted for a short break (we only stayed one night). We only paid £38 for the room (2 adults and 2 children) which didn't include breakfast… still an excellent price in my opinion, especially when you factor in that it was half term! There was also an outdoor play area for the kids which was an added bonus as it kept them amused while we checked in. Would definitely stay again!

The staff are very pleasant, helpful and cheery. You get a brilliant buffet breakfast with a wide choice of food. The hotel is located just off the motorway. The rooms are decent sized but could do with new carpets. Well done to the staff who clean the rooms as they do a brilliant job. The only issue is the hotel charges different prices for each night, the price should be the same for all nights.

Disappointing Stay Booked this hotel looking forward to the usual standard I would expect from Novotel. The staff were helpful but the room itself was not up to scratch. It was extremely dated and lacked basic amenities such as a fridge and facial tissues. The main issue I faced was the the temperature of the room which could not be controlled, which led to 2 extremely hot and uncomfortable nights. The only option was to open windows wide open causing further noise disturbance. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and will not be coming back.

Business meeting. Room was nice. Facilities adequate. Food was lovely, coffee and tea was very basic. Staff are always very nice, professional and well turned out.

Spent here two nights on business. The hotel is very much standard, however the service is good. The breakfast is rather limited and I will consider eating elsewhere in the future.

As a frequent traveler, I can say that this was the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. When we arrived to check in around 11pm on 13 March 2018 at night we were told that the 3rd floor was flooded and that our room was affected. We were told that there was no other room available at the Novotel but that they had made a reservation for us at another hotel, we were given directions to the hotel and sent on our way. When we arrived at the other hotel, we were told that Novotel had NOT made a reservation for us and that there were no rooms available. We called back to Novotel and Aaron informed us that the hotel was overbooked and there was no flooded rooms and there was nothing he could do about our reservation. We ended up spending the night on the floor of the airport because there we no rooms available in Manchester that night and Novotel still had the nerve to charge us for the room.

I stay here on a regular basis for work, it's the cheapest of the 2 hotels close by so location wise for work it is good although not much around to do. It's about 25 minute drive into Manchester. Bed is comfortable and it is clean, there is a gym and the breakfast is good (fluctuates between £10 and £15). Not many tea / coffee / sugar in the room so I usually take my own, reception will give you more though. There is a small bar and they also serve lunch and dinner, menu isn't too bad but I usually go to the pub on the corner as drinks in the hotel are very expensive. It is quite noisy, I can usually hear the toilet flushing next door or shower in another room, also doors closing down the corridor. All in all it suits me for work so will continue to use it — not happy about fluctuation in prices per night thought, there is no consistency.

Just had one night here after watching a friends band in the pub up the road. Staff were excellent and the room was fine as well. Wasn't sure how to get the lights on though as I had never stayed and didn't know the keycard would sort that out. Thanks for the excellent service.

Large clean rooms. Friendly staff on the reception desk. Good location. Large desk in the room great for doing work whilst staying in the hotel.

Nice hotel but could do with a little modernisation. Comfy memory foam bed with good size telly with most channels available. Clean bathroom with shower bath.

Really nice clean hotel with good sized rooms. Triple rooms available. Great choice of breakfast. Restaurant & Bar. Friendly helpful staff. Gym. Children stay & breakfast free.

Couple of nights stay here. Decent room for the price. No hassle. Car park is free. Location is close to the Trafford centre. As far as cheap rooms go, it's as good as it gets in this region. Recommend.

Hotel submerged in the green, in a very quiet place, from where you can not hear the strong traffic that there is not far away. Great and comfortable rooms. It has restaurant on the inside, with a good choice, and attention though friendly is a bit slow in serving the dishes, but it is so in almost all of UK. Unfortunately a negative point has it, the hetero signal of telephony is scarce in the reception of the hotel, it is completely absent in the lower rooms where I was. Luckily there was Wi-Fi.

First stay in a Novotel and wasn't sure what to expect as the price was cheap. The staff were welcoming and friendly, inside it was modern and warm, the rooms was spacious, maybe needing a update to the toilet but that's being picky. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I'm not one for breakfast so can't comment there. All in all, great value, good hotel, zero complaints.

Booked adjoining rooms 6 months before wedding with note added to the booking stating not to overbook as was for wedding next day. We have 3 kids under 8 hence the requirement for adjoining rooms. On arrival advised been double booked and now on separate floors and nothing we could do about it. Proceed with caution when booking.

Nice hotel lots of greenery around great place to relax. Fitness club is well kept. Breakfast is good. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Staff are helpful. The location of the hotel is a bit far from town.

Went to a wedding here. The staff are all very helpful and it's clean. The room the wedding was in was decorated with fairy lights. There is a bar which also serves food. The chicken club was a large portion and real taste. There is an outdoor garden/patio area which is really beautiful to sit out in with a cocktail.

It's a nice mid-range hotel. Comfortable rooms and a nice spacious lobby. Breakfast was nice and the service is friendly. The only complaints are that the shower floods the bathroom due to the weird design and that the toilet is in a small separate room that resembles a council flat toilet. Overall though it's a very nice place to stay.

Only used the lobby area for a seperate event unrelated tk the hotel itself, however staff was friendly and the building appeared clean and well maintained.

Attended a birthday party hosted there. Outdoor playground for kids was great, drinks were reasonable, cocktails weren't great, very nice outdoor area.

The hotel was very good. The room was clean and tidy with very nice facilities. Unfortunately we left something in the room which was quite important to our trip, when we came back to pick it up it had gone missing. This obviously ruined the hotel quality for us.

One of the more basic Novotels I've stayed in, but also very reasonable room rates. Very friendly staff. My room was a bit tired and scruffy, but it was also clean — it's a three star and did its purpose for us, an overnight stay for a football match.

We attended a food tasting session for our upcoming wedding. We were very pleased with the service, food and drinks.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, staff were polite, friendly and approachable. We came on a break and stayed after seeing a Manchester City match and we will stay here again. Breakfast was lovely and the range of foods suited what everybody wanted. The rooms were spotless and very comfy. They catered to my needs due to my disabilities. We had tea in the restaurant and the service and food quality was excellent. They also had a beautiful garden with a play area for children. We normally stay at a hotel in Manchester when we go abroad and will now book to stay here. A very pleasant stay, Thank you xxx.

I stay here every two weeks (business) and twice I have accidentally left my I phone 5 charger in the room and each time been told that nothing had been left in the room? So this ends up being costly having to replace my charger every time I forget to unplug it, all I can say is, luckly it is only a charger and not my purse, as don't expect your items to be returned to you, I have asked about there lost property policy and was told they keep items for up to 4 weeks! but I have called that same day I left and been told the same story each time, even though I know 100% that I left them in the room! FYI.

I recently stayed at this hotel to attend a family party at a nearby hotel. Our party consisted of myself and my disabled friend in one room, my parents with my dad being disabled and struggling to walk, my cousin and his partner and my other cousin with her mum. So quite a group of us. We stayed for one night. The lady at check in was very helpful. She swiftly checked us in early which was great. On discovering that the lift had stopped working she quickly moved my parents to a downstairs room. The lift was repaired pretty quick though. The rooms were great. I slept on the sofa bed and slept very well as did my cousin. The downside to the rooms were the lack of plugs. With two girls in one room we had a mobile each to charge and hair curlers. We found 2 accessible plugs in the end. So we ended up digging out the plug for the tv. Breakfast was okay. My brother popped over from a nearby hotel with my little niece and she was offered yoghurts and him coffee at no cost. Very considerate staff. At the end of the evening we arrived back after the bar was closed. The lovely guy on the front desk was happy for us to bring our drinks from the room to consume downstairs instead of a bedroom so we didn't have to worry about noise. He also provided us with glasses and ice. He couldn't have been more accommodating again which was great. I would certainly stay in this hotel again with such lovely staff and clean accommodation.

My wife had to stay at this hotel for just one night. It is nothing more than a budget hotel but unfortunately, not a budget price. The addition also is that breakfast is an extra £13.95 — she only had a bowl of cereals and there is no flexibility. Novotel in general on the basis of this hotel are off our list for business and/or leisure. The location is not brilliant either — not the hotel's fault though just that awful M60 — she took 1 hour 45 minutes to do the last 4 miles — stressed she was and then followed an uncomfortable night in a less than average hotel.

Recommended, comfortable rooms, reasonably priced. As with most hotles of the type the bar and restaurants prices are a little steep, but there is plenty of places nearby, good pub next door and good chinese near.

I was told by mum parents not to stay here as they stayed there once before and "it was run down and horrid". However, staff informed me they had a refurb so I gave it a go as the location was appealing as I used to live near by. It transpires that the hotel was more that perfect for me and the family. I usually stay in The Marriot close by but Novotel beats it hands down, great staff, great hotel, carpark, clean and tidy, good food. Cannot fault it and I am just about to book in again for my next visit! 5*. thankyou jb.
