Great setting and well in easy reach distances of all the main places. Very friendly staff and welcoming to the hotel, which you will expect from most of the a premier inns. Good vibe and good choice of food as well. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Bit dated but everything works. The Bee Hive next door interesting place. Quiz night on. Fun but not quite what I needed after a long very busy day. Bar staff very friendly and attentive. Thank you.

Lovely place if you go as a family you are placed on the family corridor ground floor.

So far all I can say the staff is friendly, extremely helpful. The room looks comfy and cozy and has an en-suite bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Great place for the price. Friendly staff, great children's playbarn next door with brilliant staff and the carvery pub was great food too.

The staff were friendly bit it was hard to get the room warm, there was no resteraunt in the building — you have to walk around the corner to a pub (which is not bad) and the quality of the room was not great. Soap was empty for the entire four days I was there, Wi-Fi was slow and cut out and the TV was poor. The hotel badly needs refurbished and the location isn't very central either whilst still being awkward to get to at times due to traffic. Oh and there's only one person there most of the time that I saw — the receptionist and you had to buzz and wait for them if you needed service.

Hotel good locatio, clean and tidy staff helpful, shame about the attaching pub could do with a refurbishment.

We understand it is hoping to be modernised soon but dont let that put you off cos the people who work here are friendly and happy to help.

It is a very nice hotel to stay. Staff was very helpful. I slept well and lot more.

Good, quite small — no close cash machines and breakfast/restaurant area was shared with the pub next door. Clean with nice, proffesional and friendly staff though.

Negative I had room 11 and it was next to the parking as entrance so too noisy. Hot water shower was warm with no cold applied. Posative Bed was very comfortable and room was clean with basics. Wifi free and worked.

Old style hotel in need of refurbishment. Old 4:3 style TV that I could only get BBC1 or radio channels on inexplicably. Good location for Tesco, Asda, cinema, restaurants and shops.

Ok shame about the pub next door for food. Look 1 roundabout lower for a bigger premier inn.

Good sized rooms, bath with shower, not just a tray. Ample parking. Breakfast was very pleasant in the adjoining bar. All in all I would stay again.

Pretty standard premier inn in terms of the room size, layout etc. But fantastic customer service. We were down the weekend of the Ironman UK and they had covered the walls with motivational messages. They put breakfast on extra early for the athletes and were so accommodating for all of our wants/needs. Great location for Ironman UK if registration/T2 remains in the same place as just a short walk away. This is also convenient for restaurants, shops and cafes. Short bus journey into the centre of town/longish walk and I had a lot of equipment.

Stayed recently for wedding in area. Clean and comfortable beds with friendly staff. Only downside was having meal in pub attached to inn. Noisy crowd did not create a great atmosphere and food pretty bland. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. Make sure your room does not overlook pubs back entrance, as you will have to put up with the smokers chatting until 11.30.

Really enjoyed the simplicity of this place with the restaurant next door. Staff were all helpful and friendly and room was clean and comfortable.

I can only give this place a 5 star rating as I stayed here whilst having my house renovated. I had been staying with my cousin and sleeping on a 'flop-out' sofa on her bedroom floor for 3 months. My daughter and family were coming up from London so I booked us all in at the Premier Inn. I arrived a day earlier and it was heaven to get in a comfortable bed within clean white sheets and all facilities on site. I went into the restaurant, bought myself a nice meal then went straight to bed with a chocolate bar, bottle of wine and put 'do not disturb' on the door. I watched Coronation Street then had the best nights sleep ever, followed by a delicious full English breakfast. A well — deserved 5 stars! I could retire here!

Have stayed here a number of times. Good value, good service and really convenient for Liverpool and Manchester.

Hotel was very clean and comfy, Ideal for the Reebok which is just down the road The beehive pub next door is also very good for drink and food. But was a bit disapointed with the service for breakfast where I thought they looked under staffed Overall though a decent hotel.

Stayed there and had food in the restaurant. The gammon steak I had was outstanding and the staff in restaurant and hotel were so helpful and pleasant. My only criticism is the Wi-Fi is very poor and had to get a refund as it was unusable. In summary it is a good place to stay apart from Wi-Fi.
