A nice quiet hotel in Westminster.

Lovely hotel. Most helpful staff.

Highly recommend staying here. The staff are so friendly and go out of there way to look after you. Housekeeping do a wonderful job also the bar and resturant top notch. Thank you so much for looking after me and my mum.

No air conditioning in your hotel? What the heck? It’s summer in London and no air conditioning! Very disappointing!

No it a dive bats are crap dirty falling apart and when you book they don't tell you the breakfast that's included is only a contantal breakfast only tell you when you arrive then tell cooked breakfast is extra thieves that's all I can say at least dick Turin wore a mask.

Beautiful and clean lovely room more than enough room for two people would stay there again.

Good location, value, and cleanliness. I prefer it over whitehall as a hotel. Average breakfast. The double room had a window with construction right infront which meant no privacy and noise. But was changed to a better room when requested.

Nice rooms but most don't have air con. No gym but can access gym in adjacent hotel. Staff seem to change often and I always seem to get a trainee at check in. Overall a nice and clean hotel.

I am loath to give this hotel any stars at all. There is no aircon in the rooms and you have a ineffectual electric fan the room was steaming. Breakfast was truly awful. Sausages were horrible and one had grit in it. Mushrooms deep fried. I asked if they could prepare eggs Benedict but they had never heard of it. No stars nothing to recommend about this place.

Great old place. Loved the glass and brass lift. Friendly staff. Amazing room. Far too big for me. But, because it was bigger than I expected, there were more windows to open to let the 'cool' night air in. Added bonus of a balcony big enough to sleep on in the (26C at midnight) heatwave. Beautiful breakfast. Everything I wanted and lots more besides.

A bit old-fashioned but in pure London style. Quiet and comfortable. About 500 meters from Victoria Station. A short walk takes you to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. The staff were very helpful. Reception 24H. The cleaning of the room was not the best.

Got an unexpected upgrade from a room with two single beds to one with two double beds, which was very nice. Only (minor) complaints I have are the lack of outlets near beds, and the size of the bathroom. But not much to do about either of these things! It’s a lovely hotel, staffed by friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was nice, too. Very happy with this hotel!

The staff are outgoing and friendly. The public spaces are clean and inviting. The room was comfortable and met all expectations. Wonderful stay.

I love the old style hotel! Glass elevator, small cozy room (after all who's really going to have out in the room), nice deep bathtub.

Nice hotel handy to Westminster and Millbank. Victoria Station a ten minute walk away. Nice quiet location. Booked a single room and got a double which was nice. Room was small but for a single traveller more than adequate. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Would stay again.

Thin, worn out, and sunken in mattress that reminds me of a camping trip. Only two outlets in the room: one low to the floor by door and one by the desk — not anywhere near the bed. Thick layer of dust around perimeter of room floor. No A/C (only one that did not during our visit to England). Chair completely torn. Overall, dirty. The fellas in the lobby were kind and professional though.

Decent Hotel, convenient as location because it is close enough to train station and Metro. Good place to start.

The rooms are quite large and comfortable.

The concierge was very welcoming and allowed us to leave our luggage most of the day. Decent location, close to Victoria station. My one complaint is that you couldn't control the heat of the room, and it got really warm.

Reasonably priced for London. Retro rooms. Bathroom a bit dated but nice and clean. Would stay again.

Excellent Hotel in which we feel like at home, both for the services and for the attention of the staff, in which we emphasize the good to predisposition of Juan, and of the girls of the reception, who gave us all the necessary information to pass an Excente Stay in London.

The quiet area, close to Victoria Station, the sights cleanly kill the rooms every day, but very early, breakfasts are expensive, the furniture is old. Tea and coffee in the room, friendly staff. The score is good.

It is very central, and everything is close. Very good location for those who want to visit the City of London on foot. The Persobal is kind.

The room is a little small, but well laid out. The location is unbeatable 7 minutes walk to Big Ben.

Friendly staff, I had a big room with a balcony, good powerful shower, good place to stay if you need to be in Westminster.

The hotel is located in a great location 5-10 min from the Buchinkan Palace, the rooms are great as well as cleanliness, I can not give judgement on the restaurant not having consumed any meal, excellent service.

Room comfortable and reasonably well furnished, very small though! But that's central London for you. And the location can't be faulted. Helpful staff and breakfast was more than welcome.

Can't comment on value for money because my employer paid. The layout was confusing, could do with more signs saying which rooms are where. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was nice but small. Glad they squeezed a bath in. The restaurant had a decent selection. We have different definitions of what "spicy" means, I wouldn't count chicken steps strips cooked in a batter containing black pepper as "spicy chicken". Breakfast was continental-style, including everything necessary for a decent English breakfast.

I often return to London and this hotel is definitely one of the most pleasant solutions tried so far. Low cost in the face of great service. Spacious and clean rooms. Staff always friendly and great location, 15 minutes walk to Buckingham Palace and 5 from Victoria Station.

Excellent location. Kitchen was reasonably priced for where it was, £30 for 3 courses including a sirloin or gigantic piece of salmon with the main. Room was a tad on the warm side and had no ventilation but was clean and comfy. Staff were attentive except for one receptionist with a cold front and a general apathy for human kind. Otherwise not bad at all, just showing a few signs of age in places (decor, room guides desperately need refreshing as they are faded and torn)

Good mid range hotel. Friendly staff, well stocked bathrooms, rooms a bit on the small side on 5th floor.

Excellent location, great front desk staff. Extremely clean hotel. Furniture is a little bit dated, but bathroom is big and has a window which is uncommon in most hotels. Great value for the price.

The hotel was clean and the room was fairly spacious. I was expecting more from this "4-star" hotel. For example, there was not an iron in the room, or the hair dryer was fixed in one of the desk's drawers! The breakfast was very basic.

Only stayed 1 night, went to watch Wicked with my daughter.
The hotel and room were clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. No AC in the room and it was hot at night but we had the window wide open.
In the morning the breakfast was nice and hot and again the staff were very nice.
I would definitely stay here again… Oh Wicked was amazing as well.

Faded glory. Lots of brass and plenty of staff but rooms are tired and dated.

Having stopped here on quite a few ocassions I feel that it is starting to look a little tired and in need of refurbishment and TLC our room was adequate for one night and different things in there were looking worn, my sister in law came from canada and was most disappointed with her room it was so hot with no air conditioner and couldn't have the window open too much due to traffic noise which was a shame the staff on the reception were lovely ladies but did not seem to know their job very well, the concierge guy was a really nice guy and most helpful, it was a nice surprise to have a cooked. Breakfast too.

Hotel is in need of refurbishment. V dated. Room was large and comfortable but I wouldn't stay again. Staff need abit of training in the different types of milk… might seem abit picky but whole milk UHT is horrible. I asked for semi skimmed and they didn't know what it was. They advised they have 'normal milk'. What is normal milk? In the end semi skimmed was found. Hoorah! The milk saga continued for breakfast when my jug of fresh milk on the table 'normal milk' (which was whole) had little green bits in it, looked like broccoli. The jug was replaced with milk that had black bits in it. Nice… milk rant over!

Stayed here for a few nights. The single room was a little cramped but tidy. Service was quick and efficient. Helpful staff. Very tiny shower cubicle. The heat worked perfectly well. Breakfast was a very simple affair. Location makes it a good choice.

I was only there for an overnight stay but the service was quick, the room was huge and clean with a nice feel to it. Twin singles pushed together rather than a double but no major problem. Nice view of the park and quiet enough overnight and early morning. Handy for work, 30 walk to the strand through at James park. Would stay again.

Helpful staff especially with doors and directions. We had a meeting room booked in the lower floors of the hotel and the corridors were like walking through an oven — so hot and airless — but the meeting room was cool and adequate. Good sandwiches etc at lunchtime and good tasting coffee topped up when needed.

Hotel perfectly cared for in every detail of each room (showing perfectly the London style).
There are all services at an affordable price, while being in a strategic neighborhood for moving to all other areas.

Very friendly staff. No refrigerator but it is a older hotel so its understandable. Lovely rooms and overall a great place to stay. Eat at the queens arms its like a 3 minute walk away and is delicious.

The service was excellent — we were allowed to enter our room early on the day. The twin room was large and with two double beds, very comfortable. The only downside was it was extremely hot and there wasn't much breeze coming through the window as the room backed onto a service area.

Room a bit tardy but very big which made up for it. However. Tvs have sky sports and all channels but reception awful. Raised with staff as thought TV was faulty but advised all tvs like that. Dissapointing.

Located near Victoria and behind Westminster. Attentive staff and good rooms. Free Wi-Fi works for light use like mail or small pages.

Cheap and cheerful. Small rooms, but very well furnished and decent food — a good budget alternative to the Grange Wellington.

Cheapish and cheerful, good location near Westminster with easy access to Pinocchio and Vincent square is quiet and pleasant. Gold glass lift on the lobby is a well presented central feature. Rooms are quaint, comfortable and clean but the food isn't great. Regularly sausages and bacon at breakfast are irritating and I wouldn't recommend eating a meal from their restaurant.

Location is excellent, just 5 mins from Victoria. Staff have been very helpful at all opportunities. The room is well equipped and nicely decorated, quiet and warm.

When you pay £110, for a hotel room, you at least expect a bed! I arrived in my room and the bed was literally a fold out bed and my small backpack was taller than the bed. The carpet was held down with gaffa tape and in some places, the carpet wasn't big enough for the room. I asked to speak to a manager and they were conveniently unavailable. To top it off, at 5.45am, the fire alarm went off and there was no explanation on why this happened. My 'upgraded room' included the view of a tip outside my window which looked like hotel rubbish. I would not recommend this hotel!

Asked the hotel to prepare a birthday cake or candies for my fiancé's and charge it to my creditcard because I couldnt travel with him. Didnt answer my emails and when I called them, they told me they are not doing stuff like that. What kind of 4 star hotel is this.

Very good hotel for lovers and quiet.

Staff seem friendly but was a bit dissapointed that for £120 breakfast wasn't included and was a £25 add on. Room was cosy and the bathroom worked but needed some TLC as did the carpet which had a large hole. I didn't have a balcony but mine seemed to be one of the few rooms that didn't. Excellent location.

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

Had an amazing weekend at the hotel. The staff are so friends and the rooms are amazing, the food is great and not a bad word at all, I stayed in G3 right by the entrance and had no noise. Just a lovely place to stay.

Terrific, friendly staff (A+. ) Quiet location in Westminster (Vincent Square area. ) Decent access to public transportation. Walking distance to Westminster Abbey/Parliament or Victoria Station. The room was a bit small and the heating difficult to control (stayed there in late December), but was manageable. Good value for the money. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice place and good location
Sent a free bottle of wine to our room as the plug point blewa fuse, opens the door every time and flagged us a taxi down. Recommend at the deal price of £120 per night but don't think I would pay the normal £250 per night rate.

A little gem within walking distance of Westminster. Always attempt to stay there whenever I'm in London.
