I have just had the best 4 night stay at The Wellington hotel. The staff were amazing and so very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. I was travelling with my sister how has limited mobility and the staff were always available to help. The hotel was clean and our room was spacious and well maintained. The food was brilliant with a good selection on the menu and breakfast was wonderful again with a good selection of very well cooked and presented food. I can’t wait to return and would recommend this hotel highly. 10/10.

Stayed here in a double room on the 7th and 8th of November. I can honestly say I have never met such a bunch of unfriendly staff. Only one member of staff in the whole of our stay there greeted us, there was no heating in the bathroom and the lighting you needed a degree in electrics.

We loved this hotel, and we will stay there when we return to London. The room was beautiful, the shower is spacious and delightful. Try the buffet breakfast, it was worth the money.

Have staff that speak and understand english. This is a hotel in a lovely area, but its staffs language barrier lets it down.

Stayed for one night pre Back-Roads Tour and 7 nights post Tour. Location perfect for navigating around London for two 60+ Aussies. Rooms very clean, shower wonderful. Rooms are small but only crashing at night after touring so not an issue. Good air conditioning plus a window that opens for fresh air a bonus. Breakfast excellent. Reception staff particularly Susma helpful Concierge could have been more helpful and approachable. As we were staying a week after Back roads Tour asked if possible to have a room over looking the park. This request was granted and such a quiet room on 3rd floor Would definitely stay there again Thankyou two happy Aussie tourists.

Super pleasant hotel experience! Nice staff, clean rooms and very modern facilities. The rooms are very well equipped with air conditioning, rain shower, bathtub, and super fast Wi-Fi. A large and pleasant bed is also available and the room service is also to be praised. I have also tried the food in the room and is of the quality almost at restaurant level. Overall an excellent hotel experience.

4 star hotel in Westminster near Victoria Station.
Prices high in high season. Always book breakfast (continental and English) through organizers, as more expensive on site.
Room good with air conditioning, huge for English conditions. Top bathroom.

A lovely hotel in a peaceful part of hidden London amid Westminster. The cricket green and pavilion opposite in Vincent Square are reminiscent of The Raj and quite unexpected in such a central location. Hotel staff very friendly, it's clean and comfortable with quiet aircon, tho the room lighting operation is too clever by half; needs to be easier to use.

Our stay has been great. Staff excellent and helpful. Really clean rooms. Totally enjoyed our stay.

The place is very good at the metro station. I'm sorry that the room was too low and the view didn't mean I did otherwise very clean. The comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and everyone's breakfast tasted good.

My mother stays at this hotel when she visits London which is every three months. Absolutely relaxing hotel. The food and staff are brilliant also. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It's a nice enough little boutique hotel on a quiet backstreet opposite one of London's little oasis of green. Staff have been pleasant, even if one of them doesn't have time to actually listen to the customer but such is our busy life! The downsides are the cozy room sizes, the shower that suddenly drips through the night, then stops just to keep you on your toes. The worst aspect is the stench of stale smoke in the non-smoking room. The last point being the reason I'd never come back. Shame really as I needed a good little boutique hotel in London.

Good value for the location, I got a large room (superior double apparently, not sure if I booked that or if it was just what they had). Quiet rooms with aircon, in quite a quiet location too. Not sure if it is always good value but £100 (Sunday night) for a big air conditioned room in central London is good in my book.

Perfect location! Only 8-10 min walk to Victoria station and Victoria coach. The views of the park are beautiful! Rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable — not to mention the service was amazing.

Very close to Victoria Street in a very quiet neighborhood this 5-star hotel is located. A really good service, the rooms comfortable and well equipped. It has a gym with treadmills and a pulley machine. For putting a failure at breakfast if you order coffee machine, you have to pay a surcharge.

One of the best hotels in London. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff most of whom are young and from around Europe are absolutely brilliant. I advise all colleagues and friends to stay here and they do now. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Grange Wellington Hotel is located in a quiet area of Vincent Square, in the heart of central London. It offers free Wi-fi and is just a 10-minute walk from Victoria station, which links to Gatwick airport and all areas of London.

Stayed for a couple of nights with work, lovely hotel ideally located. My only concern was that they tried to charge me for something out of the mini bar, given that the door wouldn’t open and I hadn’t had my room serviced, it was a little disappointing, but they did remove it from my bill immediately without fuss.

The hotel was elegant and stylish. I did not stay at the hotel, but visited for an event which was held in the chapel. The venue was perfect for this concert. The accustics were perfect for this à capella group.

Hotel very well located and very comfortable. Very decent reception despite an hour of room availability a little late. If you want to be quiet in the heart of London then this boutique hotel is a great option.

To tour London is a hotel with excellent location, the attention is very good, the food better.

Great price for what you get. Quiet location close to Parliament Square and to subway stations. The restaurant has tasty food (try the lasagna). The rooms have an elegant feel to them. Comfy bed. And a huge bath tub!

A nice hotel but located in the toughest spot to notice it. Its in a plaza with other hotels and restaurants sharing similar names and the entrance of this particular place is facing a grassy field accessible by side road.

We stayed here in late Feb for mine and my partner's anniversary was honestly a beautiful hotel, bed was to die for comfort, nice big bath with stunning shower. Didn't eat at hotel but restaurant looked nice. Staff were lovely couldn't fault it, only wish it had spa and room service didn't cost so much. Other than that will defiantly be using again. Was also upgrading last minute for no extra charge couldn't fault the hotel.

Was at the hotel for an event — the staff were friendly and the food and drinks were decent, and a reasonable price for London. Small bar without much choice.

Nice hotel which is well updated, everything feels clean and new. Great location: quiet but very central and with a short walk to Victoria station. The neighbourhood is beautiful with lots of examples of Victorian architecture. My only complain, and therefore 4 stars, is for poorly arranged working area in the room. Our room was on a small side and so the chair didn't fit fully between the desk and the bed, which made sitting there quite uncomfortable.

Fantastic stay! We stayed for our first year wedding anniversary whilst going to see wicked at the Apollo theater. The hotel upgraded our room without charge. Definitely recommed staying here.

Very nice room. We had a family so it was a bit tight but not really their fault. The continental breakfast was mostly croissants and bread, the hot plates were extra. Staff was nice. Very convenient location for sightseeing.

I did write a 5* review about this hotel, having stayed here on Sunday night, but have decided to take it down. I left my phone charger in my room and realised when I was part way up the motorway. I had checked out long before official check out time so I knew that they wouldn't have checked anyone into the room when I rang. I was told someone would ring me back, it didn't happen, so I called again last night and was told once again they would ring me back. It didn't happen. No phone call today either, so I called again tonight to be told they didn't find anything in the room. Disappointing. I know exactly where I left it. Clearly there are some dishonest people at the hotel which has now tarnished their reputation, a shame because all the staff I encountered were polite. It might be a measly phone charger, but it's the principle. I won't be staying there again.

Last minute me and my friend booked a night at Grange Wellington where we had an apartment on the bottom floor. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. 24 hour lines through to reception and there is also a 24 hour bar. Food was lovely with no problems what so ever. Staff are extremely helpful and approachable. Decor is lovely as is the hygiene. They were kind enough to store our luggage the next day and print off a ticket we needed for an event we had paid for. Location is also ideal to many places in London. I never write reviews but I highly recommend this place, we will be going back again!

Good hotel but the multilingual staff need to improve English communication skills as some customers found they had to repeat themselves several times to clarify or were misunderstood.

Superb hotel, very well located and comfortable. The welcome is warm and efficient. It has been rebuilt since our last stay and the rooms are luxurious.

The hotel itself is nice and quiet, perfect location and comfy rooms. Some practices are highly doubtful though: Ordering a cab at this hotel takes you for a ride in more than one way: Early in the morning with no alternatives available I was 'offered' a completely unlicensed and highly overpriced cab without prior notice of the steep price, whose driver had no idea where to go. I had to give him directions. For an otherwise decent (and not cheap) hotel, having deals with unprofessional 'taxi' companies is a disgrace! Leaves a bad stain. Also took 3 attempts to get a decent room with a) a window and b) without unbearable noise.

It's a nice hotel. I think that's a fair assessment. The rooms I've stayed in (I've stayed several times) are clean, well fitted out and comfortable. The showers have always been hot with plenty of pressure. Breakfast is buffet style, plenty of choice to suit everyone and what there is is a good quality.

Lovely hotel, only issues are the really overly firm mattress and the poor breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet place in the centre of the City, just 5 min to Westminster. Room was very clean and perfectly prepared for us. Staff was very polite and breakfast was arranged from tasty ingredients. Little negative: No lift.

I stayed here for 2 days on business and despite paying a premium price, the service I received was less than. The staff could barely speak English and were not very helpful. I had things added to my invoice which I had never even ordered or consumed. I called the hotel after checking out as my credit card had gone missing from my bedside table. They advised that I had “left it behind” and then charged me an administration fee of £5 to post it out to me. I disputed this in a call with the manager who then tried to start an argument with me and was incredibly rude. Our calls are recorded by default and my colleagues were horrified at the way in which he was speaking to me on the phone. I would absolutely NEVER recommend this hotel to anybody.

This place has had a recent refit and it really shows. The room was SPOTLESS which I love as I have OCD! Will definitely stay here again.

Ignore the old reviews — this place has been recently renovated. It's in a good location — essentially half way between Victoria and Westminster — each being about a 10 minute walk. It fronts onto a very nice square, and the building itself is a very nice converted georgian block. I was in an apartment on the basement floor — the room had clearly been recently renovated, so it's identical to the Grange's other recently renovated / built hotels (e. G. St Pauls, Tower Bridge). It was a bit weird being in the basement, with the only windows above shoulder height, but the room was spacious enough. I was literally just there for the bed, so can't comment on the facilities, but seemed nice enough, and the staff were generally attentive. I wouldn't pay over the odds for this hotel — but if you manage to find a decent rate (double for 100-125 GBP p/n) it's a good choice for the area.

Check in took a long time due to IPad Signature and lot of information needed. Poor Wi-Fi connection in basement rooms. Fire alarm went on with voice message that I should leave The room, sound and blinks, no one got outisde. Called reception to ask if I should leave, answer was No, it was a mistake and had happened before, they would call me in case firealarm and I should leave the room.

Stayed at this hotel for one night and it was marvelous. We were able to check in early as our room was already prepared; the staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was impeccable; very modern, stylish and clean. We did not have breakfast so I cannot comment on the food but the over experience was very positive and I would happily book again. It is situated fairly close to the city centre however it is tucked away in a quiet area so your nights sleep is not disturbed. Highly recommend.

The best experience I ever had, just went to London, the staff was very very helpful easy to get a Cab as they call it for us and got a free upgrade to an Apartment style room when I booked a normal en-suite. The rooms were awesome, maintenance was impeccable, Room service was really helpful. I went from Manchester. Many Thanks.

Stood in mid-August, the hotel is still under construction. This means that rooms are already renovated and therefore absolute peak (rain shower, flatscreen etc. ). The staircase and all gears but renovated yet and also look like on a construction site. Between 10 am and 4 pm is being renovated what is connected with some significant construction noise. But didn't bother us. The Lady at the check in Bernadette or similar was not particularly friendly and rather arrogant. Possibly because my English isn't the best, or because you can do it with a 20-year-old yes I do not know it. What is nowhere is that you have to pay per day £ 50 deposit if you take something from the minibar or similar. Supposed to get the money back if you claimed nothing. Since I still don't have my credit card bill I must wait if I really get back the money or whether there a dispute breaks out. Am at such things always very suspicious;). All other staff very normal. Not extremely friendly. Unfriendly. Regardless of where we were and the us a lot more. What is an impudence: to demand £ 10 for 24-hour Wi-Fi access. Wasich also as a over priced feel is to require 12 pounds per day per person for a continental Frūhstūck. English costs even more. The location is absolutely top. We ran several times to Oxford Street. No problem. Also tube and bus station are close by. All in all highly recommended where prices will rise most explosively after completion of the renovation work.

Generous breakfast, everything was perfect for us, IE. The price more than appropriately. The hallways and room reminded me of old seafaring movies: properly quaint the doors and Windows, eg. This contrast everywhere mirror and top modern smooth baths with intelligent cutting. I visit this staff again.

Very loud. Apart from the fine walls, the day under the door of the room, the doors slam systematically even if you try to close them carefully. So you'll be woken up by doors slamming all night because the toilet/shower room are in the hallway and there are systematically several fire doors as a result.
I have not closed the eye of the night.
Moreover, if you are from the bad across the hotel, you will have to cross the whole hotel to access the WC.
Also, do not be shy because the shower doors are transparent!
Breakfast was OK.

Hotel completely redone, unhealthy environments, little cleanliness, uncomfortable beds, bathroom far from the room (almost 200m), creaky floors and loud. People sleeping on the hall sofas… mah. Only positive aspects price (30euro per person per night) and location (13min walk to Victoria Station). If you only need a "bed" without too many pretenses then it is your case.
