Right from the outset of my surprise 60th birthday experience nothing will top this day. I arrived for a midday afternoon tea alone as this was a gift from my daughter. Max settled me in to my table and explained the details of my afternoon tea. Little did I know that the biggest surprise of my life was about to walk through your doors. I was looking down at my table loving the detail of my table setting when to my jaw dropping amazement my 3 year old grandson appeared with a beautiful pink rose. "Fancy meeting you here Granny " Well. From there on I lost it… crying and laughing wondering. Asking questions. My daughter and her husband were on holidays and sneakily planned this surprise. We moved to a larger table and not 5 minutes later I get a tap on the shoulder and again my jaw dropped and the tears flowed again. My second daughter had flown from Australia for a short holiday. We move a second time to a bigger table and the champagne flowed along with beautiful delicacies, laughter and of course more tears. My Grandson was privy to be taken back of house to thank the chef as he was well looked after. All in all a day I will never forget. This experience at your beautiful venue will live on in my memory forever. Thank you to all the staff who made my birthday truly amazing. A big shout out to Max who in my opinion went above and beyond in creating a very memorable and the happiest experience for me and my family. I too work in the industry and have over 30 years of experience and you Max are amazing. Again thank you so much.
