Faulty towers dont go. PUBIC HAIRS IN BATH AND LONG DARK HAIRS YIKES! terrible customer service lengthy check in booked 2 separate nights couldn't find the second one. Asked to pay 2 x £30 deposits for each night. Dirty used coffee cups left on tea tray in room. Fire alarm going of with no warning for a investigation they wont say what it was. Key cards deactivated on second day. Flashing light in bathroom not changed while I were there even though they said they would after I reported it. Made cam e in twice while in bed even though I said I didnt want that service. Very bad all round give it a miss not worth the hassle.

Despite the location (behind the train station) good hotel with very nice staff.
Breakfast as well as in the evening the food is very good.
Good value for money.

They only have house keeper. And you can only check in once your is cleaned. Do not order room with sleeper bed. Its a thin mattress, where you feel all the wires on the bed.

We really liked this hotel. It’s very nice and everyone was friendly. We stayed there 3 nights before taking a British Isles Cruise. We walked to Buckingham Palace, Parliament, & Trafalgar Square. Victoria Station is a short walk & so is Victoria Coach Station. We ate breakfast & dinner there. Highly recommend…

It's not in the Hilton standard, we arrive and they give me an already occupied room, finding me face to face with the naked owner who was going to take a shower and there was also my family. Arriving at the reception they offered me nothing to get in to the debt of the figure made and as if nothing had happened they gave me another room from 2 star hotel. Bad breakfast for dessert with cold croissants with no chance of having them warm, wide choice for those who eat salty, old elevators that take 3 years to make few floors. I definitely wouldn't recommend it again. Too bad because it's my honeymoon.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I was there with my parents in a three-bedroom. The third bed was so bad, really old, too soft and maybe for small children but not for adults. The room wasn’t clean at all, we had to complain a few things like missing towels or uncleared room to the receptionist before it changed. Didn’t get any upgrades or ‘presents’ for this inconvenience. Only good thing was the location which is really close to the train station. Wouldn’t recommend to stay there at all! Any hostel I’ve been was better than this!

By Double Tree standards, but definitely unlucky stay.
They stayed in the neighboring room with work going on, (drill and hammer for hours!.
I asked for an extra pillow for my daughter in the morning, Concierge 2 times, Reception 1 time, Room Service 1 time … around 8 p. M. Returning to the lobby someone finally gave it to me.
At the Bar the same drink can cost you different prices, it depends on the attendant and how much the concept of "service charge" and the discount "Hilton Honors" applies; Inexplicable.
London after 11pm does not eat, the same in this hotel, if you are hungry drink.
Breakfast of normal quality, but questionable assortment, I understand that it is not a Waldorf but … few places, it can be complicated to sit down.

Great hotel, easy access to Victoria train station and tube station. Staff were great, always helpful and friendly. There are some improvements underway with the lifts which will help as having one down really causes delays. We stayed in a new tenth floor won't which was a big quirky with four stairs down to the sleeping/desk area, but it had a nice view of the city. Will stay here again.

Choose this hotel because of it's location… immediately across the street from Victoria Station, easy 5min walk to get inside the terminal. Asked for, and got, a high floor so I can overlook the station & trains… highly recommend it. Bedding was good, got a decent nights sleep. Not too many USA TV stations… but otherwise had like 100 channels on the TV to choose from. Room was functional, comfortable… perfect for 1 night stay while in transit.

Could be a great hotel for tourists due to it's very convenient proximity to Victoria station traffic hub. Rooms are also nice and modern, although not clean at all. Seemingly they were struggling with the cleaning as we could only check in just before 17:00 even with priority. The room was not vacuumed at all from the get go. Next day housekeeping took all our towels and forgot to replace them. Again, next day no cleaning at all. Actually, they came at 18:00, we just sent them away. It can easily get 4.5 stars if those issues were fixed which shouldn't be hard at all. But for now 2 stars as I think they don't worth the price…

Hits and misses. I checked in ahead of time. Room wasn't ready at the 3:00pm check in time. When we got to our room, the safety latch was broken. A hotel employee came in without knocking. She apologized, only to enter again not 5 minutes later. Staff was a mix of friendly and not. We asked the concierge to arrange a taxi for us at 8:00am. He made us feel like we were bothering him. The next morning we stopped down for our cab. It had been reassigned because the concierge couldn't remember our room number. Beds were good, and breakfast was great. Conveniently located directly across the street from the Victoria train and underground station.

Very clean hotel very well located, next to Victoria train station, very convenient when arriving in Gatwick. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Very nice and clean room. I recommend you.

Nice room. Good location. Only problem was the TV not working but that might have just been me and it wasn't that bad. A bar nearby called something like ST. George isn't bad for drinks either. Solid 4/5 experience.

Great hotel in a very convenient location. Staff are friendly. Room wasn’t ready at 2pm when I arrived but staff were happy to store my bag in the cloakroom. Very comfortable bed and room, and a bathroom with a hot powerful shower. Downstairs is a nice bar area. It’s worth checking their website for the best deals, and it is one of Hotwire’s Hot Rate hotels.

Excellent hotel with staff prepared and available: The breakfast is English and international with good quality brioche: The hotel is very close to the various agencies that organize tours for many destinations. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable; Apart from the sofa beds: the one in our room had a very thin mattress so it was a bit inconvenient for the little girl. The water bottles are given free of charge and the welcome and date with a nice chocolate dessert that you are offered when I enter the hotel. We asked to book a car to take us from the hotel to the airport in stanced and we paid 90 pounds. Come back.

Check in right away — regardless what time. Quiet hallways, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and great bathrooms. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely come back during my next stay.

A good hotel to go on holiday to London… They also leave you a mobile phone to call home as many times as you want and also data to navigate.

I must modify my opinion because of a fatal experience that happened later. Back to Spain we find additional charges to the credit card that did not correspond. Even today we have not returned the total, and every day to make the corresponding calls. Unfortunate.

A nice hotel for a short stay. Close to Victoria station which allow for travel to other parts of greater London easily. Quite at night but there are good restaurants near the area. Be careful not to choose the TOP floor of the hotel as u have to travel up 2 elevators to get to ur room. Rent a bicycle to cycle from the hotel to Big Ben. You will wonder your way through Buckingham palace along the way. Also, the wicked theatre is just around the corner. A must watch!

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times while in London. The hotel is updated and what you expect out of Hilton. The hotel continues to go through upgrades but it does not cause disruption. Small gym and limited food but decent in quality. The hotel is right next to Victoria station and other restaurants behind the hotel. Will definitely be back for work so will stay here again.

The Hotel has a very good location, this to 3m from the Victoria station, you have the. Metro station from Victoria to 2m. To move around the great center by subway two stops and you reach the Big Ben, London Eye…, you can walk to the Palace of Buckingham and hide Park these some 15mi. It has near the theatre Victoria and another one that I do not remember well qual, also in the station shops that open until late even a MC donals if you go with children. When you arrive at the hotel you are greeted with a hot cookie, plus the Super friendly staff help you in everything you need (speak Spanish some of them) and is grateful for the truth, the room very quiet has all the amenities, Tele Grande Flat, alarm clock, plug adaptor to charge the mobile and a teapot with tea and coffee that allows you to take something hot at any time without payment, bone that is courtesy, the bed and pillow helpful, to put some paste the shower has little pressure but I I would stay at this hotel if I go back to London without a doubt.

Great hotel a stone's throw from the Victoria station which is connected to all major airports. Spacious and recently renovated rooms. Bathroom with all the comforts. There is a comfortable gym. For Hilton members There is Wi-Fi water and welcome snack.

Our stat was amazing. The staff on the front desk were lovely and extremely helpful! My wife was sent cake to the room for her birthday which was a nice touch. Location is perfect, right next to the station and tube. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will 100% be staying there again and we would 100% recommend people to stay here.

This hotel is nice to visit. Room was nice with good amenities. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast buffet has good selection and food is always tasty. Nice bathrooms. Very close to the tube and lots of restaurants. Tea and coffee avail be in the room. I get water and cookies randomly as well. Would reccomend to anyone visiting the area.

Well located Hotel near Victoria Station (Metro, train, bus) and a few minutes walk from Westminster, Big Ben, Hyde Park, etc. Breakfast was very good.
As improved aspects, the excessively dull decoration, the high price for what it offers and that the street is not exactly beautiful.

Centrally located and easy access to Victoria station. Not the usual Doubletree size like the rest of the world, that being said this is London, real estate comes at a premium. We had a family suite room, but the sofa bed is not comfortable if you plan to stay more than two days. Did mobile check in prior to arrival, but still have to queue to take key cards upon arrival. The ability to select your room choice from Hilton app is interesting and refreshing.

Location is convenient as it's across the road from Victoria Station. The restaurant is a bit small but serves decent meals. The warm freshly baked cookies available free to hotel guests are delightful. Room size not big … but then, this is London!

Our room was big but the cleanliness was not great. It was dusty and a little dated. There were ongoing renovation hence it was noisy to stay or sleep in late in the room. The service from the staff were excellent though. The breakfast spread was ok and probably could be improved with a little different selection everyday instead of just scramble eggs among the other choices.

We left an item item of clothing after a work Christmas party in the staff room (with the permission of the staff) — they were very reluctant to help and wouldn't let us leave our one (and very small item) in the cloakroom. They said this was only for paying guests — we paid for the Christmas party, even if we weren't staying the night. They were a little rude and very unhelpful.

Well located but disappointing for a four star. Small room and water room. Cleanliness is to be revisited: traces of coffees and moulds. The quality is not at the rendezvous for this kind of establishment.

Rooms are clean and attractive for the UK which has probably the worst hotels ever. Staff was friendly and breakfast was very decent. Bathroom clean and had everything that is needed and bed was comfortable.

This used to be a great place to stay but lacks maintenance to keep the services running at a level expected of a 4 star hotel with rates of £200 per night. A very noisy intermittent pump in a services duct by my room was fixed first night, but continued to disturb at gone midnight the second. Annoyingly my request to be moved was met with a “sorry we’re fully booked” but after I said I would move hotel they found a room for me, which again needed the maintenance man to fix the lack of heating system. Victoria is a useful place for me to stay but I think its time to shun the chains for some boutique hotel pleasantries. I can do a lot better with a £200 per night budget.

Wonderful staff. The door to our room was hard to close. Actually, it was open upon our arrival. I definitely will stay there again.

Good location right next to the coach station and train stations. Rooms are nice and clean, bed is firm but comfortable. Staff was very kind though a minor negative is the room was not done by the time check in was allowed.

Staff very friendly breakfast buffet. Spacious rooms and comfortable bed. I use it because of its proximity to the center. Very close to Gatwich. You can walk to Picadilly and West End by Sant James Park on a 30 minute walk. 20 minutes walk from Parliament.

Good modern hotel. Breakfast area is just too small for the number of hotel rooms — so be prepared to wait. Or if your breakfast isn't included, go round the corner to the Willow pub for a much better value breakfast.

Good hotel if you have business in the area, mostly because it is literally right across the street from Victoria station. The hotel itself is nice and the lobby is inviting. Clean rooms and good service.

Very poor value afternoon tea. Just four very small sandwiches and a pretty average set of cakes, not even close to gourmet. Service was amateur and inattentive.

Great location, conveniently accessible by the exit at Victoria station at Platform 1. There is a lot of work taking place at the station which makes wider commuter travel by foot challenging during peak periods. Good quality of decor and furnishing. Rooms very quiet, excellent customer service as expected at Doubletree hotels. Booked room only so no comments on food. Nice gym on site too a good bonus.

Beautiful stay with clean rooms and top notch service from staff members. My wife and I bought tickets for several London sites and the staff printed them out for us and brought them to the room. Would defiantly recommend.

Dined there yesterday evening for our sister's birthday. We received a lovely welcome from restaurant staff, great service and made sure we were well topped up with our prosecco! Food was satisfying and delicious. Staff were very considerate as we rushed them because they knew we were running late for our show. They also presented our sister with a birthday treat on a slate plate saying Happy Birthday. Which was very kind. I highly recommend DTH Victoria. Thank you for making our dinner special. We will definitely be dining there again. Mrs Evans.

Great hotel in a convenient location to visit London.

Very good location directly opposite Victoria Station, and gives guests / delegates a great feeling. That's important for a corporate event. Organisation of the rooms was goodgood, food and drink excellent, events staff on hand for the little hiccups. Will use again.

Staff at this Doubletree were very attentive, really friendly and didn't seem to treat us any differently despite visiting for a Groupon cream tea — quite refreshing compared to when I have used Groupon vouchers on the past for similar events. Overall lovely place, lovely people, visit if you get a chance.

Had afternoon tea there. Service mostly non — existent, except from the last waiter we were dealing with. They only had big coffee cups so it wasn't a true afternoon tea experience. We got a coupon so I guess the price justifies it.

Small rooms, typical euro hotel. Great location, finishings, clean, and up-to-date.

The meeting room was fine. We were supposed to be provided with two whiteboards, we only got one. The whiteboard pens were all dry. AV equipment all worked fine. HDMI connection. The refreshments were just little biscuits, not the "Chefs special" that we were told we would have. Overall, satisfactory. Neither good nor bad.

Middle of the road double tree. Staff were lovely, rooms could do with a refresh. Location is great.

I go to Double tree by Hilton hotel for 3 days, I and three colleagues to go here. Nice hotel, warm staff, great location and clean hotel. I recommend this hotel, it was close to Victoria Station.

Hotel was lovely in Victoria with lovely rooms, however the breakfast was salty and not good at all. The scrambled egg did not taste like egg and could have been pushed through a sieve. The breakfast was very disappointing.

I had lunch at the restaurant, Tikka chicken with rice accompanied with an organic lemonade. Food was great although portions weren't as big as desired. Customer service was great.

Pretty good hotel overall. Beds are very firm, so you might want to look somewhere else if you like softer mattresses. 'Basic' Wi-Fi is free throughout hotel (including rooms) and worked well enough for me. Right next to Victoria train station tracks, but they have triple-paned windows on that side, so noise is not a problem at all. A/C and heat worked well.

Customer service is awful! Menu is a joke! Run a mile if you are looking for quality service and good food. We ended up in McDonald's after being told no one else has a problem with the food and refusal of refund or compensation! Completely ruined my daughters birthday meal!

Service was excellent. Waiting staff were both quick and attentive. There was a slight mix up on the order (due to miscommunication on our part) however we don't hold that against the staff. Food was excellent as was the wine. Meal was part of a dinner and theatre present yet the set menu provided plenty of options to choose from. My only qualm would be better description of the sides accompanying the main dish (hence the mix up! ) decor was 60's chic which isn't particularly my cup of tea hence the 4 stars (my grandmother had identical table and chairs in her home). Would choose if part of another dinner and show ticket due to proximity but doubt I'd return if I was footing the bill.

Great hotel right next to Victoria Station, so very nice when you arrive with Gatwick Express. We got a good rate for what was offered and I was very happy with my stay and I'd definitely stay here again!

The portrait suite is great. Excellent service and care is taken to ensure you are comfortable.

The staff was lovely, and the rooms were in great condition. My only issue was that the bed wasn't terribly comfortable, but that's a personal issues. As far as hotel staff, cleanliness, and operation. It's great.

Spent one night in the hotel in prepartion of a a visit to the theatre and to attend a reunion. Hotel comfortable and staff very accommodating but let down very badly by the restaurant. Very small and you are able to link arms with the people on the next table. Staff unable to get throught to some tables without first having to circumnavigate the whole area. Had a pre theatre meal which took forever to serve and we had to miss out on the pudding as it was going to take fifiteen minutes to serve cheese and biscuits. Staff assumed we were going to see a show at the New Victoria theatre "only 5 minutes over the road" Assumption wrong, we visited the Picaddilly Theatre a 30 Minute taxi ride away. Unbeknown to us the meal had to be prebooked. IOrdered a starter which took 20 minutes to arrive and the amount of food was an insult to the plate. The main course took a further 45 minutes to arrive and again such a small amount it was consmed within three mouthfuls. A bread roll requested eventually arrived after completion of the main course and the size of which was about the same as a square of chocolate. All in all a dissapointing experience and one we shall not be repeating.

Terrible customer service. They really don't care at all if you're happy or ever come back. Too many other hotels to bother with this one.

I stayed since Monday 27 to Thursday 30/2015 with my husband. Experience broadly satisfactory, we would recommend. The hotel is located very close to victoria station, strategically located to visit the main attractions on foot. A special thanks to those who (don't know the name) has washed up our room, causing her to find clean and stocked with everything you need. A special thanks also to the staff, it met every request (expressed strictly in Italian! ), and received us with great kindness and availability (thank you and Hello to Ilaria, Jessica, Julia, Sarah, Andrea, Mariangela for their thoughtfulness and staff very kind man at breakfast). Breakfast varied and quality.

Great location but beds so hard as to cause pain! Desk could only offer a quilted pad to top (didn't help). After two days I am ready to check out. Above all beds should be comfortable or at the very least hotel should offer some flexibility in terms of mattress firmness for those who can't sleep on a rock.

Good choice next to victoria station.

DoubleTree hotels always deliver a consistence travel experience and this location was no different. Conveniently located across from Victoria Station (and an easy walk to Buckingham Palace), this hotel was a great place to make my base for exploring London. Full toiletries provided, nice tea service, comfortable room and bed.

Staying here now. Rooms are ok. But they charge £15, — for 24h Wifi in the room while the website says the following: "Enjoy modern amenities including a 37-inch HDTV, individual climate control and Wi-Fi access. " Even in cheap hostels of £15, — a night you get free Wifi.

The location is awesome and just next to the Victoria station. I had stayed here for 6 days. But I had bad experience here, when for one morning hot water was not coming. : ( Hot water is such a basic thing and should work flawlessly in a 4 star hotel.

I loved this hotel and stayed an extra night because I was so comfortable. Partially for the convenient location to Victoria, but also — this is a high end doubletree. Doubletree hotels can vary a lot. This is one of the modern ones — very hip and clean.

This is an excellent Hilton property in London. The location is very convenient (right across the street from Victoria station), walking distance to Buckingham Palace, and there are really nice smaller restaurants right around the corner. The hotel itself is very modern, and the rooms were beautiful (they seemed like they were brand new or just recently renovated). The hotel staff and concierge were excellent and very accommodating. The staff helped provide restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. I am a Hilton Diamond member, so my expectations of any Hilton property are high. And this property met them all.
