Absolutely disgusting the staff were shocking watching very very young prostitutes service all the old men in the hotel, I would never stay here again.

The Hotel itself is Beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The Service and Wait staff are excellent but the Management staff has no clue what is going on in there Hotel. I am currently staying at the hotel and 2 nights in on a 6 night stay. So far the last 2 nights there are high class hookers all over the hotel. I’ve been propositioned in the elevator twice and in front of the hotel several times by both the ladies and their pimps. In between those events I have been cornered on several occasions by the homeless begging for money in the entrance of the hotel in front of management and they turn a blind eye. I’m a grown man and can handle these issues however I’m traveling with my daughter and I find it difficult for the Hotel Management to condone this behavior. Certainly if I was staying at a Holiday inn or the likes I would be much more understanding, however at 400+ dollars a night I find this to be Disgusting. I complained to 2 members of the Front desk staff and they both acted as if Zi were the problem. I am not from London so maybe this is how things are done here or maybe people in London don’t care. Maybe my expectations are too high for this Hotel and should not consider that it’s supposed to be a 5 star hotel but instead a 2 star Hotel. In any event if u want to feel safe and secure snd trust that management cares for you health and well being than this is definitely not the place to stay in London.

Fantastic stay over the bank holiday weekend. Every member of staff was a joy to be around and our room was fantastic with amazing views. Having stayed in there Oxford hotel too this one is next level and definitely will be back. Thank you specially to front desk and the chap that handled our valet.

Nice hotel, quite popular as it is right in the heart of Mayfair. The lobby seating could be better, with comfortable seats rather than the flat seats. You may find some supercars parked outside, albeit with parking tickets on their windscreen.

World class hotel with everything you would come to respect, with regards to luxury. The basics are mastered and the elements that make it one-of-kind amazing is quite the lengthy list. From top to bottom, a stellar experience that is a visitors dream. If there are any complaints, it would be the location of my room, specifically, was quite a long walk with numerous twists and turns, including steps which made hauling luggage a bit tricky on two spots. There should be an understanding that their are numerous residents in the building so when traversing the grounds, many families can be heard, specifically, high quantity of children. Again, however, top notch personnel, services, amenities, care, etc.

Classic Edwardian style. English 5 star luxury hotel. They have a may fair kitchen with amazing cuisine. Great rooms. Service is excellent. Staffs are pleasant. Good ambience. Near to green park station. Near hyde park.

Went for a conference so didn't stay in a room. Fairly standard Mayfair hotel experience. All marble etc. Good if that's what you're into. Canapés were decent!

I fell in love with London and I think the May Fair might have helped. So happy I chose such a trendy hotel with yet a old world charm. Perfect location and charming setting. The next time I go to London I'll be staying at the May Fair as corny as that sounds.

Pleasant 5* hotel the hosted a gala reception for the Commonwealth Heads of State conference. Great location in the heart of Mayfair close to Green park and Berkeley Square. Nice décor and decent service. Room arrangement could have been better for our reception as there weren't many tables provided. Food was simple and repetitive canapés and not particularly creative.

All the cutlery, cups, etc. In the rooms are wrapped in plastic, they get renewed every day. Please try to save the environment and find a better solution (no plastic wrapping like in every other hotel). Thank you.

FIVE STAR HOTEL BUT WORTH ONE STAR AFTER OUR STAY! Money taken out my account without my authorisation for a package I'd already paid £500 for! No explanation made, just an email with a refund invoice. Poor customer service. Other faults voiced during our stay and no one has had the decency to follow up either. Very disappointed for such a famous hotel.

We ate reasonable well but expensive for what you get. Chicken wings should include tiny in descrition. Saving grace was the wine. One staff member needs deoderant badly. Server was delightful, good smile. Would not rush back. Expectations are not met.

I stayed in this hotel several times. The water is soft so foam of the soap cannot be cleaned from your body. This problem persists since few years. I highlighted the issue to the engineering manager to solve it. But I didn't have any news afterwords.

I was a guest of my daughter and her boyfriend who was staying in one of the penthouse suites the service was absolutely perfection the staff on duty were very very polite the whole atmosphere was euforic. The food fayre in the hotel suite was excellent and I would deffinatly recommend the hotel to friends.

Convenient hotel just off Regent Street. Held a few business meetings here. Great coffee.

Went to the spa here and really enjoyed it. The staff were very proactive in customising the timings and the facilities were pleasant, clean and high quality. For the price we had a massage, two hours of facility use and dinner inclusive, which is a pretty great deal compared to other things we saw. Only fails to get five stars due to being a little small and maybe needing one more thing to do — but maybe I'm being greedy.

Been going here for a long time but now looking tired in certain areas. Food is good. Nice breakfast. Bar has good atmosphere in evenings.

Tldr: You have plenty of money and want a fancy well located hotel to visit London? It's the hotel for you. You're a professional, need things to be convenient, a work desk, a quiet bar to work, coffee in your room? Pass. The hotel is really well located, easy access from Green Park Underground station and really fancy. The service was great, desk always well staffed, knowledgeable and efficient. The room was alright but many little details don't quite hold the 5* rank. Leaking shower cords, not convenient position of toilet papers, shower gel in bulk, bathroom floor very wet after shower due to no appropriate windows, difficult to open sliding door for the bathroom. Wi-Fi was good and secure though.

Hotel really recommended, large rooms, breakfast and exceptional room service.

Not all rooms match the modern lobby. While exceptionally clean, some rooms remain in a past-era (for better or worse). Restaurant was great for both breakfast (classy) buffet and dinner service. Location to the tube is amazing, with multiple lines 2 blocks away.

Beautiful hotel in posh Mayfair area. They have an excellent albeit smallish gym with top of the line equipment. Staff is very attentive and the premises are spotlessly clean as chic.

Nice hotel. Booked on points and was given a reasonably sized room, especially considering the area. Great location, less than 100 yards from Green Park Tube stop (Piccadilly, Jubilee and Victoria lines). Short walk to Hyde Park, tons of upmarket shopping and dining and can't go a block or two without an M&S or Sainsbury food store for timely markdowns on prepared food. We'd (probably) never spend the $500/night the Mayfair was charging when we were there, but if you afford it, you probably already know what you're going into, and that it's going to be an enjoyable stay. Be aware that this is a fairly large property with ~400 rooms. It can be a good hike from reception to your room.

The May Fair Hotel is certainly among the most luxurious and posh in London.
Sophisticated and minimal furnishings, high level of reception, customer care, guest relations, excellent restaurant… etc… etc. Synthesizing… it's perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at the May Fair. Truly 5 star hotel the service is impeccable. The breakfast is incredibly busy but has a huge selection. It is part of the Club Carlson/ Radisson brand so you can stay using your points. Add a concierge member or welcome gift was commentary drinks at the bar which came with lovely bar snacks.

Roast Beef in Mayfair. What a delight.

Horrible experience. Let's start with additional charges. At check in, mysterious $868 in additional upgrades mysteriously showed up at check-in. Multiple times during stay the staff gave incorrect information concerning the hotel amenities and then an additional $130 in charges showed up at checkout for "additional services". When I asked to define the meaning of the charges, the front desk couldn't answer me what it was for. To add to all of this, 3 of our group of 5 got sick after eating in motel dining restaurant.

Modernized hotel don't expect any charm. The bathroom floor in my room was polished marble be very careful with wet feet, the floor reminded me of wet ice. The lobby and hotel were over scented for my taste… no escape. Nice large room, spacious bathroom luggage and hangers are in the bathroom. Shower and tub with a television on the deep end of the tub.

I stayed in London for three nights and four days for a business trip in early August. The hotel is very centrally located, has an amazing bar and casual restaurant. Rooms are very clean and updated. Services are all top notch. Good value as well.

Good location, near Green Park tube station. Open entrance with helpful staff. Attended an awards evening in the downstairs cinema space. Intimate setting but limited space on stage for creative performances. Lobby area downstairs too small for larger audiences. Refreshments and service of a high standard.

I overheard this place exhibited a resemblance to that of the plague by many a people. Although I have never endured the tribulations associated with the plague, I am aware that it is potentially fatal and should be avoided. Regardless of whether these accusations of plague-like attributes associated with this place are to be believed or not, I would not risk my health via offering my business to this inn. 0/10 would not recommend.

I couldn't believe how rude the staff was. I was over charged $550 because I have a broken leg and they couldn't massage it. It was just ridiculous. I wouldn't advise anyone to visit this place. Treated me terrible, kept referring to me as the fat man with the cast. They also do this alternative massage without asking you. They took razor blades, tacks, glass, and a tiny little knife to my back while sprinkling salt, vinegar, and lemon juice in my cuts! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!?

Conveniently located, spacious rooms and a bluffing breakfast.

Good: staff super friendly, nice lobby and comfy beds. Bad: we actually had 3 different rooms because the 1st room smelled of cigarettes, especially the bathroom, the layout in all the rooms was surprisingly poor, especially the bathrooms. The showers were cramped for no good reason, because there was quite a bit of space. The interesting part was that the 2nd room was described as an upgrade from the 1st but was smaller and the 3rd room was described as a vip room and admittedly was larger but very poorly laid out and had the smallest shower at all. There was a desk in the 3rd room with no lamp or outlets anywhere near so pretty useless especially in todays world of computers and electronics that require electricity. We moved to The Browns which was a bit pricier, but perfectly complimented and probably the smallest bathroom, but the space was utilized masterfully.

Average rooms in space, clean, room service is great. Nice hospitality. Breakfast is similar for 2 days, why not change from day to day!, the Hotel very near to Green Park station through you can reach the very famous Oxford Street.

You are able to smoke your own sticks which is brilliant as their humidor contained nothing terribly exciting even if it's selection of good Cubans was reasonable.

The hotel is well located and beautifully turned out. Staff are reasonably helpful and the atmosphere is pleasant and refined.

Service was excellent, room was nice and the bed comfortable. The only gripe would be that the air conditioning in the room wasn't working (possibly due to it being winter) which made sleeping difficult as the room got rather warm and stuffy. Would stay again otherwise.

Transferred to the May Fair from another hotel as they had overbooked so not off to a good start. Staff were welcoming and nice, room was adequate although a little small for the price we paid. Location was good, short walk to shops, food and bars so pleased with this.

I attended a film screening in the theatre this weekend and was very impressed with the facilities. The quality of the projection was very good and the seats very comfortable. The only slight downside was the anteroom became very stuffy while we were waiting to enter the theatre — turning the airconn on would have solved this issue.

Now all the room clean and teddy because room attentend clean good but full day they work hard they get wages not like housekeeping supervisor. When guest leave hotel, they leave tips for room attentend person but supervisour wages more than roomattended then take all tips not give room attentend person, cuz supervisor stupid and gredy. Need to check it enquiry it officially because tips only for room attended please improve it. Otherwise … Mayfair m Loss staf.

After visiting a great London salon I decided to treat myself to a couple of nights stay with my wife. The staff were very professional and polite and our room was pretty large and very luxurious. To be honest this was probably a one off treat, although if you can afford it, it definitely is worth a stay!

The rooms are compact but very nicely decorated and comfortable. The beds are so comfortable that you wouldn't miss your bed at home. Would recommend to friends and family.

The location and service is great. I don't like the aesthetic though and their Wi-Fi is unreliable and slow. Bring your own hotspot.

The May Fair is a historic hotel with a modern design, set in the heart of Mayfair, London. It is located on Stratton Street, within close proximity of Piccadilly, Bond Street, Knightsbridge, Green Park and Buckingham Palace. The 406-room hotel completed a $150 million renovation in November 2006, updating the historic West End hotel that first opened in 1927 with King George V and Queen Mary in attendance. Its transformation adds features like Fendi furnishings; Baccarat chandeliers, a private theatre, ten signature suites, the May Fair Bar, Asian-inspired May Fair Spa and high-end Palms Casino. Great venue! Went to a social media conference held here. The food on offer was amazing and the staff were very friendly.

The rooms were lovely and the location is fantastic. We had a problem with check-in however as one of our rooms was not ready for 2 1/2 hours after the check-in time. Staff communication seemed to be pretty terrible as they forgot about our complimentary breakfasts many times which led to us having to return to reception about 4-5 times during our stay. Staff were generally friendly apart from that and the manager apologised for the poor communication during our stay.
